Basically, I want a gym battle with someone You up for it? You set up and everything, the only thing that I personally want is the battle to be a 4 on 4.

Improbability Vortex 2:

Randomness at its finest, the improbability votrex 2 is able to generate energy of all types. We stand in a small space sphere, inpenetratable with 0 gravity. In the centre lies the vortex itself, a bright light and undestructable. At the end of every round, a sphere of energy appears, from a specific type, like Fire, Flying, Psychic or Ground as examples. Should an attack be able to travel through one of these spheres, that attack does increased damage. In addition, the sphere we're in is indestructable and see through, and to travel out of it would cause slight oxygen deprivation. The sphere makes some moves impossible, such as Dive, Dig and Earthquake. Fish based pokemon, like Gorebyss, can swim easily through 0 gravity like water.

Rules: Double Team and Toxic cannot be used, and rest can only be used once per match. (This is subject to change)

Start off with a healthy dose of Hypnosis to lul the little gal to sleep, then use Nasty Plot to up your power. Finish by giving Ectabat a headache with Psyshock.

Whoo. Memorial Day holds only the beginning of battles for Dogfish. Not moments after his resounding win over Chaos, does he turn and spy a new challenger busting down his door. Its Cynder, and she's truly bringing the fire with her.

Yurei strides in beside her, and the heat rises up quite a bit. Knowing there's no backing down from a Gym Match, Dogfish idly snaps his fingers. Grumpypig backs off, and Ectabat, fully refreshed, takes over.

No orbs are seen immediately, and that bothers Yurei none. She starts with a lullaby through her eyes,waves of mental energy that try to dampen Ecta's focus. They work, but Ecta manages to compete his dance. The heat starts to be relieved as a Sandstorm builds in the Vortex. Yurei is displeased. (-1)

Yu: -3E ~~ Ec: -4E Slp SS: 7 act.

Ecta hangs in the air like a limp noodle. I'm not exactly sure why it chose to fall asleep in a vertical position, I personally would have chosen horizontal. Whatever whatever. Yurei doesn't flinch, plotting up her path of destruction for this Gym Pokemon. (-1)

With no immediate attack, Ecta falls into a deep sleep. This pleases Yurei, as she strides forth. The sands that reach her fur actually leave small red blotches, since her body heat changes them to pieces of glass that cut her as she bares this sandstorm.(-1) The energy she ammases is then flung at Ectabat, twisting his mental state to a new tune. Ecta seems to be in pain, but all it does is swing wildly, still asleep.

Yurei snarls, as this battle starts off with a mental game she seems intent on winning at.

Yurei keeps an eye out in this intangibly white room for any rogue appearances. None surface, so she continues her mental assault on the sleeping Gliscor. The sands would be dealt with in time, as she tries to fling fiery wisps onto Gliscor's hide. Luck befalls the glider, as the weak flames are torn apart by the blistering sands.(-1)

He snores audibly, and Yurei winces from the audacity of the attack.

Ectabat snores again, and Yurei happens to be taken back by the sound, only becasue it sounded as if it came from behind her. That's when it hit her. The damn glider was still moving! (-1) She looked around and tried to pinpoint the bat, but came up with nothing.

Ecta finally snapped out of his slumber, confused as to why he was higher up than before. Yurei still wasn't sure where her target was, but that all changed when a streak of purple flew over her head. She fired off a blast of Psychic energy and that almost crippled the gliding scorpion, causing him to crash.(-1)

Ectabat came up with a counter plan, and stretched his tail out to hook into Yurei's leg. It connected, forcing Yurei to pull back from the mental batallion.

Still under a great deal of pressure, Ecta knows his awareness is not what it could be. But all he wants to do is sleep. But nooo, silly white fox over there wants to play. Ecta vocally releases his frustration at Yurei, allowing the fox to attain the classic "shivers down the spine" as well as pinpoint the foolish scorpion. (-1)

Ecta blinks as a bright flash washes over him, and everything, I mean everything, goes topsy turvy! He flies straight to the ground, and Yurei smirks.

The sands seemed to be dying down finally, and Yurei couldn't be happier. As Ecta slams his fists into the earth, Yurei mentally grabs a hold of the Pokemon and just holds him still like a trophy allowing him to watch the sands fall away. When they do, Yurei notes a green orb floating around. Where did THAT come from.(-1)

With no more collateral damage coming, Yurei went on the pure offensive. The Heat was back on dramatically, and the green orb seemed to expand because of it. Wasting no time, the firefox fanned its tails out and released a cauldron of fiery rage. Ectabat had nowhere to hide, and disappeared under a mountain of flame.

He barely seemed alive, as his back was severely burned. (-4)

Ecta grunts and tries to flap around, but all he manages to do is rollover, and watch a yellow orb descend from above!

Flaming with energy, Yurei strides forward toward the struggling Ectabat. Though not as powerful as before, the second wave of fire surges across the arena, and gives Ecta a powerful reality dose. Ecta finally gets back in the sky, irate over how badly he's burnt.

The granules that settled on the arena's floor began to whisk back up, giving Ecta the much needed boost to his confidence and evasive skill. Yurei hisses, displeased with this predicament.

Yu: -10E -2 SpA ~~ Ec: -4E/-18H SS 6 act.

With the suns power gone, Yurei realizes that its own attack is going to lose its edge. But it goes for broke anyway, since Ectabat is still floating still with some form of paralysis. In truth, Ecta was dilly-dallying, looking up at the sandstorm.

The fires however, passed under Ecta, as he was drifting higher than Yurei estimated. Yurei groaned, unsure how this scorpion was so damn crafty.

Ecta still stared at the sky, but there seemed to be a glint in its eye. A wave of energy washed over the scorpion, and that seemed to protect him from the strange wave of energies Yurei was releasing. As those wave dissipated, a speeding skyblue orb appeared.

The storm rages in this white expanse, and Ecta glides through it with some irritation. Yurei is constantly seeing a relief from this battering grains and tries to put that silly bat down once more. But Ecta finally gets a clean shot, and fires a nasty earthern blast right atop of Yurei. The Ninetales goes flying left, and therefore loses his target once more. (-1)

Yu: -3E/-22H ~~ Ec: -7E

Shaken up by that blow, Yurei now decides on trying to desperately switching stances. Energy ripples around the fox, and Ecta knows this trick. Up rises a sand shield to deflect this swappage, leaving Yurei still very weak. (-1)

Yu: -5E ~~ Ec: -6E

With no more power to back up its titanic fire prowess, Yurei just sits down. Not the best of ideas as Ecta speeds down and clobbers the clean fox in the face with a thick glob of nasty. Yurei flips heads over heels and snarls, seeing that this is no time for rest. (-1)

Yu: +6E/-9H ~~ Ec: -6E

The pale blue orb shimmers into invisibility, and out flies a purple orb. Ecta scowls, where was that one a few seconds ago!

As the Sandstorm starts to wane, Ecta gleefully glides through it, keeping an eye on the silly fox. The silly fox who release a magenta net of some sort-with a blow powerful enough to forego his sense of reason. That felt like a punch to the chest! A weak one, but still!(-1) In retaliation, Ecta aims, and releases a bolt of energy that uses the Sandstorm as hyper propulsion. Sand grit and amber earth essence careen into Yurei, knocing her on her side once more.

Yu: -4E/-22H ~~ Ec: -7E/-3H

Before the sands can fall once again, Ecta swirls in a circle, and forces them to rise with a renewed vigor. They dance to his will effortlessly, even as another Psychic battling hits him This one is notably different, it tries to weigh him down. (-1)

Yurei tries to squeeze out more power, but its just not hitting as hard as it needs to. This was really hampering his chances of survival.

Yu: -5E ~~ Ec: -4E/-4H SS 7 act.

Yurei huffed, knowing there was not real power left in his special blows. But maybe he could get ahead with a luck y sphere. In a strange twist, the orb that flew around the room suddenly flew around Yurei, joining the other orbs being formed. (-1)

Ecta watched this with a sense of wonder. He knew what it was..but he wasn't sure why the rooms' orb did that. The orb flew, and Ecta's ability wasagain of no use, as he was hit, but att his point, it was little morethan a joke. A second earthern blast knocked Yurei over to the side, and he clings to consciousness.

Yurei keeps a striaght face amidst all of this biting sand. (-1) Her quarry vanishes and reappears like a spectre in the night, but this time, she knows she has a trick he can't evade. Just like clockwork, there are those familiar flaps. She fires a blast of energy from her tails, a strange series of trails that hook into Ectabat. Ecta suddenly feels horribly weakened, and falls to the ground. Yurei smirks, feeling refreshed.

It comes from the right, a wash of energy that throws her sideways. She rolls with the punch, and tries to stand....NO! Its too much! Its still too powerful!

A teammate down, Cynder gets an idea. Swiftly, she calls for a Pokeball, and launches it out with a shout as to her next Pokemon may be. Out comes brilliant white light, which morphs into a small fighting Pokemon. Ecta groans, another weird one.

No matter. He gets his head back in the game and tries to swipe it, only to have the kung fu fighter deftly leap over his pincers and double kick him in the face. Kumin then runs across his back (irritating that burn) and lands a few feet away, throwing a large blast of energy to slam into Ecta as he sails to safety. Not looking when you throw an energy ball of that size can be risky-and it didn't pay off, as Ecta crashes into the ground of the Vortex, decidedly unamused. The sphere flew overhead, missing. (-1)

Ku: -17E ~~ Ec: -3E

Kumin swatted the sandy grit away and was able to telegraph the motions of Ecta once again, this time barely. The bat swung at him with a plethora of acrobatic arm swipes interceded by tail jabs. Kumin relied on its ability as a kung fu artist to handspring backwards in order to avoid them all. Very impressive display. (-1)

Ku: -7E ~~ Ec: -5E

But Ecta was to get the last laugh. Kumin landed, and crouched, realizing that there was no more faking now. He stayed kneeling as Ecta sped over and slashed at his back. Instead of the more powerful hit to knock this fightr down, Ecta managed to slice off...black hair?

The Pokemon looked up and a flash of yellow appeared. This yellow intermixed with black, rolling over Kumin's body like an ocean wave over the beach, changing its form forever. When the metamorphesis completed, Ecta was no longer taring at Kumin, but at Yami, the Zoarark. (-1)

Revealed, Yami laughs at Ecta's foolishness. Ecta speeds in and goes to strike the laughing Dark Type, but Yami is pretty quick to react. He slashes the mane of the beast, but Yami releases a Burst of energy around him. Ecta flips backwards, thrown off by that attack! (-1)

Ku: -9E/-16H ~~ Ec: -8E/-13H -Acc

Ecta grunts, and takes a minute to assert himself in the fading sandstorm. Yami however, doesn't play with his food, so to speak. When Ecta jabs in to try and clamp onto Yami, he vanishes to the left. Jumping up, Yami lands on Ecta's back, slamming him into the ground. Ecta protests, but faints shortly thereafter.(-1)

Ku: -5E ~~ Ec: -10E/-10H

Fortuitous! The Sandstorm falls with Ecta, and so does the orb, instead changing to a light yellowgreen. Yami growls at that orb..

As the orb sweeps around the arena, Dogfish releases his next fighter to this stage. Out bounces a craggy Corsola, who seems ready to fight. Yami smirks at his luck and swiftly steps in. His clawed foot connects with Anemone and bounces her backwards. Instead of retaliation, Anemone stares at Yami for a moment more and seems to gain a glint in her eye.

Ya: -4E ~~ An: -5E/-12H -Spd 10 act.

Anemone tries to graft together a shield of sorts, but it comes at the expense of being struck by a strange tendril of energy that has a powerful effect on her longevity. As she breaks free of the coil, the shield she was trying to create finally manifests, giving her a breather.

Ya: -5E ~~ An: -4E/-15H LS: 7 act.

Anemone grunts, and now decides to level the field. Yami tries the tendrils once more, but that shielding defers a good portion of their power. Yami trips up over the rolling Anemone, and growls. That wasn't supposed to take advantage of that move!
