However, when after first meeting you I asked what you wanted, you said you wanted a chance to prove yourself as someone I would be willing to work with. My test, as I explained, carried risks to you and your partners. Thus, you risked the well-being of your Pokemon in order to satisfy your personal goals and ambitions. As you progress into the next room, you see a Skorupi on the ground. It appears alarmed by your presence and scurries off deeper into the bunker as though delivering a message. Suddenly, a Magneton drifts down from the corner. It sparkles with electric current, fleetingly illuminating the room. Down by the ground, you see something that had initially eluded your eyes and the beam of Sketcher's flashlight: a small tunnel you might be able to crawl through.

You go down on all fours and start crawling through the narrow tunnel. As you go deeper, the air begins to smell more and more... singed. Soon, the tunnel empties out into a small, secret room. You see wires hanging from the ceiling and scorch marks on the walls.

There, an Electabuzz is waiting. He begins beating on his chest and shouting, displeased by having his secret nook invaded. Quickly, he wraps Sketcher up in his powerful arms and begins assaulting your Smeargle with a powerful Electric move.

Sketcher quickly paints psionic waves around his body and suddenly vanishes, quickly reappearing beside you with a sudden whoosh. Enraged by this happenstance, Electabuzz begins beating his chest more and more until he suddenly glows blinding white. His body changes as he evolves into his next form.

Then, he unleashes not one but three Zap Cannons at your Pokemon. They all sustain damage and go rigid with Paralysis.

Paralysis rears its ugly head as both Pachirisu and Sketcher are rendered immobile. Bellossom, on the other hand, gets right up close to Electivire and does a little dance. Sleep-inducing spores drift from her skirt and attach themselves to the mighty Electric-type monster, but he commands far too much Vital Spirit to be put asleep. As an act of vengeance, he strikes Bellossom with a powerful Fire Punch. She is thrown back against the wall.

While Bellossom suffers at the hands of the Paralysis demon, Pachirisu sprints up to Electivire and sinks her tiny fangs in his foot. However, her wee chompers do some nice damage, causing Electivire to roar and lash out with a Counter. He kicks her swiftly into the wall, where she joins Bellossom.

Bellossom and Pachirisu hop up and attack in unison. Bellossom unleashes a ball of green energy while Pachirisu goes for a second Super Fang. Electivire responds by stamping his foot into the ground, causing a massive Earthquake to shake the cave. All three of your Pokemon suffer because of it.

Shinsuke Volcano
This Volcanic Island - previously hidden away can now be seen from the shore. A massive pool of magma lies deep in its center, but one can walk down quite a ways and find a variety of Fire Types enjoying the heated tunnels. Some hardier Flying Pokemon line the edges of the Volcano as well. A tall Pagoda stands on the Island as well, the only man-made structure here.

Electivire decides to set his sights on Sketcher and deliver a vicious Taunt. He tells the little painter Pokemon that he couldn't out-paint a blind leper child! Ooh, rude. Sketcher finds herself unable to fight.

While Bellossom is once again afflicted by Paralysis, Pachirisu goes for a super-speedy tackling move. Electivire stamps his foot against the ground and summons a second mighty Earthquake to strike your poor Pokemon. Bellossom now leaps upon Electivire's head and coats him with a heavy dose of Stun Spore. Vital Spirit isn't going to save you now, bud! Pachirisu joins in with a second Quick Attack, only fueling Electivire's rage further. He strikes with yet another Earthquake. Yikes! What a jerk!

As Pachirisu finds herself incapacitated by Paralysis, Bellossom attaches her feelers to Electivire's face and begins sucking back precious health.

You decide to follow Bulbasaur down the path. Soon, he leads you to a small cave which he enters heedlessly. However, you maintain a sense of caution as you step into the darkness. Who knows what could be lurking here?

As it turns out, there's nothing to be afraid of. Sitting in the cave is a Torterra, but he seems perfectly friendly. Bulbasaur explains your plight to Torterra who nods sagely. He then approaches you and offers to give you a ride to a distant location where you might have better luck finding the Pokemon you desire.

Bulbasaur waves goodbye with one of his vines as hop upon Torterra. You and Bruiser grab onto his little tree formation as he starts bounding out of the cave and through the forest. For such a heavy Pokemon, he manages to travel at an impressive pace as the trees and leaves slip past.

Eventually, you break free from the treeline and leave Ivy Woods behind. Torterra carries you across flat, open plains until you see something in the distance: a mountain. The mountain starts growing bigger and bigger until, after what feels like hours, you arrive at its base. You dismount and Torterra nods to you. Unfortunately, he won't be able to join you on your expedition, but he bids you good luck.

As Torterra departs, you look around. You see a Chimchar scaling the mountain while a Magby watches from down below. Meanwhile, an Aron peers at you warily from the safety of a rocky crevice.
