Suddenly, the boulders begins to roll forth and out slithers Cynthia. She's wearing a rather ridiculous crown of twigs and shriveled berries.

"Clearly your mental capacity far surpasses the mindless drones employed by Nestor the Wickedly Badass, Arch-Mage of Feizhi Outpost, or even Clarence the Exceedingly Burly, Really Terrific Warrior of Feizhi Outpost. You must indeed be a mail carrier," she says, accepting her parcel. She tears it open to reveal a scepter made from a bunch of sticks bound together with twine. "Ahh, my sister has treated me exceptionally well with this kind gift. Thank you, mail carrier."

You pull out the next package and see that it is addressed to Nestor Q. Shiftry.

"Ahh, that one is for my enemy," Cynthia says, peering at the package. "He lives in a grove just a few minutes to the east."

Crossing your fingers that Nestor Q. Shiftry is just a normal fellow, you embark alongside your Pokemon to his grove. Soon, as the trees grow steadily taller and more lush, you begin peering around for any sign of Nestor.

Suddenly, a Shiftry pops out from behind a tree. He's smiling happily.

"Why, hello there, young traveler," he says, "and welcome to my grove! How are you doing on this fine summer day?"

Well, he seems reasonably normal so far. Then, without warning, he whips a gnarled branch out of nowhere and leaps upon you, pinning you to the ground. He holds the branch to your throat.

"Psych!" he screams. "How dare you intrude upon the sacred grove of Nestor the Wickedly Badass, Arch-Mage of Feizhi Outpost? Are you one of Cynthia's goons? Or perhaps a minion of Clarence? Answer or I use my magic wand to transform you into a cheeseburger!"

Yeah, okay, he's crazy.

"Mail, you say? This could be a genius ruse, you know... you might be a minion of Cynthia or Clarence tasked with stealing my incredible potions and ancient spell books," he says, gesturing to a hollowed tree trunk filled with bottles of water and a couple off books labeled "MAJIKUL SPELBOOCK" in black marker. "But their minions are all so foolish and dim-witted... that's it, then! I will test your mental acuity with three challenges. Only then will I accept your mail and let you go. Do you agree to these conditions?"

You look at the final parcel and see that it's addressed to Clarence W. Snorlax.

"Ahh, yes, that's my enemy Clarence the Exceedingly Burly, Really Terrific Warrior of Feizhi Outpost," Nestor says, peering over your shoulder. "He lives at the top of Outlook Post, about twenty minutes north of here. Good luck."

After a long trek, you eventually arrive at Outlook Post. It's a large, two-story observation structure in the middle of Feizhi Outpost. As you approach its entrance, you peer inside. It's all dark and cobwebbed. A few Skorupis scuttle around while a Yanma buzzes around in circles.

The Bugs all scarper as soon as you come within a few feet of them. Looking around, you see a Croagunk sitting beside a stairwell shooting you dirty looks and a Zangoose sitting against a wall rocking back and forth. Creepy.

Suddenly, you hear a pained squawk from the floor above.

You quickly climb the stairs and arrive at the observation deck, which grants you a view of the entire jungle. You see two Chatots chained to a pillar and they're both decked out in the same red caps worn by the mail carrier back in Skyline Terrace. They peer at you feebly.

Beside the pillar you see a massive Snorlax and, on either side of him, Cynthia and Clarence stand staring at you.

"Nice to see you again, mail carrier," Cynthia hisses.

"Long time, no see," Nestor says, winking.

"So you're the mail carrier Cynthia and Nestor told me about," says the Snorlax whom you presume to be Clarence. "Your timing was perfect. I had just invited Cynthia and Nestor to my tower to propose a truce with them. You see, we have a common enemy, it seems... the Super Evil Chatot Militia of General Wickedness and Other Such Bad Things!"

Cynthia and Nestor gasp, appearing pained at hearing of such a fearsome group.

"And these two goons are from the Super Evil Chatot Militia of General Wickedness and Other Such Bad Things," Clarence says, pointing at the captured Chatots.

"I don't even think such a thing exists," one of the Chatots says wearily.

"Please, I have a family," the other murmurs.

"Now, I pose a question to you, mail carrier: will you band together with us and help us take down such a heinous, devious group of Pokemon?" Clarence asks.

Cynthia, Nestor and Clarence all let out shocked gasps.

"Mail carrier!" Cynthia shrieks. "I trusted you!"

"About friggin' time someone normal showed up," the nearest Chatot mutters.

"Then the lines have been drawn," Clarence says, grimacing. "Prepare to meet your maker!"

With that, the mighty Snorlax lashes out at Yami with a powerful DynamicPunch, inducing Confusion. Cynthia and Nestor join in the action, too, as the former hits Aikoku with a Toxic while the latter attacks Yurei with a sudden Rock Slide.

What a pair of wierdos... Anyway, Yami, use Taunt to turn them all against each other! Then use Night Burst if you have any turns left. Yurei, use Flamethrower, Fire Blast and Heat Wave on Shiftry, and Aikoku, use Superpower on Snorlax, followed by Air Slash on Shiftry, and another Superpower on Snorlax.

Yami lashes out with a series of Taunts; however, before he can successfully Taunt Clarence, Confusion sets in and he punches himself in the face. Nonetheless, Cynthia and Clarence find their ability to use non-damaging moves restricted. Yurei strikes with a series of Fire-type moves on Shiftry, inflicting a nasty Burn in the process, while Aikoku alternates between Superpowers on Snorlax and an aerial slash on Shiftry.

The three Pokemon fight back... and how! Cynthia hits Yurei with a series of Rock Slides while Nestor repeatedly hits Yami with powerful physical strikes as though breaking bricks. Not one to be left out, Clarence hits Aikoku with three mighty Ice Beams. Ice crystals form around your Braviary, Freezing him solid.

Ohshit this isn't good. Yurei, send a gentle ember at Aikoku to defrost him, and finish off with twin Fireblasts at Shiftry. If that isn't enough, Aikoku, continue with the onslaught of Air Slashes at Shiftry until he falls, accompanied by Brave Bird on Snorlax. Yami, no mercy! Attack Snorlax with Low Sweep, and Focus Blast him twice While he's down!

Yurei is quick to come to Aikoku's rescue, thawing him out with a wee little Ember. As the ice melts, Aikoku targets Nestor with a sudden Air Slash while Yami strikes Clarence with a Low Sweep, causing the behemoth to fall to the ground. While Snorlax flails and tries to regain his footing, Cynthia and Nestor strike Aikoku with mighty Hyper Beams. Aikoku is thrown clear off the observation deck and tumbles away out of sight to the ground below.

Avenging her ally, Yurei fires off a blistering Fire Blast at Nestor. Just like that, the mighty tree falls.

"Nestor!" Cynthia shouts, but she's helpless as she recharges.

Meanwhile, just as Clarence manages to climb to his feet, Yami hits him hard with a powerful Focus Blast. Clarence retaliates with a pair of Thunderbolts. At this point, however, things prove to be too much for the large Snorlax: while Yami hits him with another Focus Blast, Yurei beaks out a Flamethrower and Aikoku soars back in and hits him with a razor-sharp air attack and an aerial tackle.

Clarence falls.

"I'm not giving up!" Cynthia shrieks, hitting Yurei with a second Hyper Beam.
