Lightbulb Jelibean vs Cutsie pie, Ref Razor Leaf

Arena is a closed dance floor in a night club so weather moves do not work
however this dance floor has a strange lighting set up that can affect the Pokemon they will start white and have no effect

they will then randomly change color every 3 turns

    the colors are
Pink - Attack power is increased
Purple - special Attack power is increased
    blue - speed is increased
    yellow - defense is increased
orange - special defense is increased

    no banded moves
the roof is high enough for fly and the ground is deep enough to use dig

each trainer gets 3 Pokemon one at a time

Hey this music is not good! Do you take requests? No!? Well is there a bar? NO!?! Ugh, well in that case I'll just lean up against this wall with a bottle of cola and ref the battle. Sheesh. Nice lights though. Cutsiepie and Jelibean Man rock up to the dance floor ready to get their groove on. OK, no more dance jokes. Cutsipie calls out her first pokemon, a Gastly that hovers above the ground. Jelibean calls out a Spiritomb to rival the ghost with one of his own. A quick test of the lights shows that their amplifying effects are in full working order before they set back to white. The music is turned down a little (thank you) and the battle begins.

    ROUND ONE

Gastly sways to the left and to the right, but it's not enough to avoid a pulse of putrid darkness launched by Spiritomb. A wave of blackness washes over Gastly, knocking her back a little and leaving her feeling ill. But she pushes through it, and quickly floats beside her foe. The gases around her convulse and she spits a glob of hot poison that burns as it sinks into his ectoplasmic body. The poison is fast acting as it floods through Spiritomb's body.

    Gastly HP(-10) PP(-6)
    Spiritomb HP(-0) PP(-4) ~ Badly Poisoned

Gastly moves away from her foe as Spiritomb unleashes another pulse of darkness. As it approaches Gastly, she retaliates by casting a wicked spell over her foe, a hex that recognises the poison in and around the phantom and targets it specifically. Spiritomb roars as the attack penetrates his body and bursts along all the poison within. Gastly smirks, but is hit at the same time by the dark wave and is left once again feeling disheartened and depressed.

    Gastly HP(-10) PP(-2)
    Spiritomb HP(-11) PP(-4) ~ HP(-1) PP(-1)

Things don't change much this round, as both ghosts go for the same plan of attack once more. A hex falls over Spiritomb and wrenches the poison in his phantom body, whilst a pulse of darkness slams into Gastly leaving her weak and tired from the brunt of the three powerful attacks.

    Gastly HP(-10) PP(-2)
    Spiritomb HP(-11) PP(-4) ~ HP(-1) PP(-1)

    WHITE LIGHTS
    Neutral

    BADLY POISONED
-1% HP per action | -1% NG per action

Just one quick question. When the lights change, are they just one colour for both pokemon, or do the lights have different colours on different sides of the field?

    ROUND TWO

Gastly winks at Spiritomb, with a "this is exactly the kind of place where the two of us ghosts could get together, you know?" look about her. The sultry minx! Spiritomb looks almost taken in by the display, only to start taunting the poisonous ghost andmocking her choice of evening dress. Or something, I don't really understand ghosts and their sense of humour. Gastly looks dejected, but is riled up so much she can't bring herself to keep trying.

    Gastly HP(-0) PP(-6) ~ Taunted
    Spiritomb HP(-0) PP(-6) ~ HP(-2) PP(-1)

Now Spiritomb turns to more cunning methods to subdue his foe. His eyes turn white and hypnotic suggestions spread across the dance floor towards Gastly. This is all well and good, but Gastly is so angry from the taunting that she shakes off any drowsiness and retaliates with another Hex attack. The pain cuts Spiritomb's attack well short as he is left aching with an ethereal pain once more.

    Gastly HP(-0) PP(-2)
    Spiritomb HP(-11) PP(-5) ~ HP(-2) PP(-1)

Having failed to send his foe to sleep, Spiritomb is left with only one other command. He starts plotting to himself the means to defeat his foe once and for all, raising his ability to perform special attacks in the processes. This couldn't come at a worse time, as Gastly is free to attack the dark type, unleashing yet another Hex attack upon the already suffering pokemon. As the round ends, Spiritomb feels the drain on his body that the poison has done, and begins to dread the start of the next round.

    Gastly HP(-0) PP(-2)
    Spiritomb HP(-11) PP(-8) ~ S.Ak(+2)HP(-2) PP(-1)

    ROUND THREE

This battle is swiftly becoming stagnant, as both pokemon continue to use the same attacks for each turn. Spiritomb unleashes a pulse of dark energy that splashes over Gastly, causing a little more damage thanks to the former's plotting. Gastly retaliates with a damning Hex, that bounces off Spiritomb's poisoned ectoplasm and causes twice as much damage as it normally would. Combined with the toxic virus inside, Spiritomb is weakening quickly.

    Gastly HP(-12) PP(-2)
    Spiritomb HP(-11) PP(-4) ~ HP(-2) PP(-2)

Another Dark Pulse and another Hex are released, both attacks having little effect other than the damage they would otherwise be doing. The ref goes to the bar to get a coke and some peanuts, whilst the battle slowly continues.

    Gastly HP(-12) PP(-2)
    Spiritomb HP(-11) PP(-4) ~ HP(-2) PP(-2)

As the pokemon attack each other, in the exact same way, again, Spiritomb is looking seriously worse for wear as the combination of powerful attacks and deadly poisoning takes it's toll on his otherwise impervious body. He shudders and shakes, fading in and out of this plane of reality as he desperately clings to conciouness. Gastly on the other hand is still surviving well. Above them, the lights turn on, and the two are bathed in a warm orange light.

    Gastly HP(-12) PP(-2) ~ Taunt faded
    Spiritomb HP(-11) PP(-4) ~ HP(-2) PP(-2)

    ORANGE LIGHTS
    Special Defence Increased

    BADLY POISONED
-1% HP per action | -1% PP per action
