Hmm, on arena, generic field arena w/ pond?
Title says it all. 4 on 4, challenger can set up, but double battle because I want it to be nice and quick so I can evolve some new pogies.

Good day, ladies and gents, and welcome to Generic Arena #452 as we prepare for an exciting skirmish! Today’s competitors, Cynder and Toucan Sundae, take to the field with Pokeballs in hand. Without drawing out the formalities, the two trainers release their selected fighters. Cynder sends out a blue feline of some sort alongside a dragonfly while Toucan, on the other hand, opts for a little blue hand weight and a chirping digital duckie. Oculus scans its opponent’s abilities and Traces one at random, mimicking Nala’s Guts. Okay, let’s get this show on the road!
Sabaku kicks things off by breathing out a gut of ridiculously hot air. She focuses its scope and targets Oculus with the attack, heating the little Beldum so it glows red-hot. Nala, meanwhile, closes her eyes and begins channeling some electromagnetic energy. Suddenly, as if by magic, she begins hovering off the ground! Just like that! The Shinx roars proudly at her little trick. Good work, kiddo.
However, Kaku just begins chirping excitedly as it executes the file C: \My Computer\Attacks\GenIV\MoveTutor\Gravity. Suddenly, as the Porygon glows bright pink, the field’s physics become skewed and Nala finds it impossible to maintain her Magnet Rise. Slowly but surely, she’s brought down to solid ground. She pouts. Finally, Oculus caps everything off by glowing silver as its Defence takes a turn for the better.
Nala: <-4 EP>
Sabaku: <-8 EP>
Oculus: <-15 HP; -4 EP; +2 Def>
Kaku: <-4 EP>
As much as Nala begs and pleads for her ally not to perform her next command, Sabaku simply cannot defy her trainer’s orders. She bounces upward and then rams herself into the ground, causing a vicious Earthquake to shake up the field. Nala, Oculus and Kaku are all thrown hither and yon, though it’s the little Shinx who takes the most damage from that little move. When at last she pulls herself up, Nala hisses with anger and decides to vent it out on Kaku. She strikes the Porygon with a pair of powerful kicks, doing some pretty decent damage. Kaku retaliates by striking poor Sabaku with a frigid beam of icy energy. As ice crystals crawl up and around the Vibrava’s frame, she lets out a pained wail before shaking them off. That really hurt! Oculus also deals a little damage and this time targets Nala with a powerful psionic head bash. Judging by the aggravated look on Oculus’s face, the little Beldum could use a little more Zen in its life.
Nala: <-27 HP; -4 EP>
Sabaku: <-20 HP; -8 EP>
Oculus: <-15 HP; -6 EP>
Kaku: <-21 HP; -8 EP>
Sabaku, still smarting from that vicious Ice Beam, attacks Kaku with an indigo energy pulse. However, not particularly disturbed by that attack, Kaku simply and calmly lets out a little digital chirp and executes C: \My Computer\Attacks\GenI\Machine\IceBeam for a second time in a row. The attack devastates poor Sabaku who is simply not a fan of taking this kind of damage. Nala, meanwhile, sinks her Fiery Fangs into Oculus as the hunk of steel, annoyed by this pushy tactic, bashes her away with another physical Psychic attack. Respect personal space, little thunder kitty!

Oculus, seeing as you're just an attacker, I reckon we could get a higher powered Iron Head if we charged it up with Iron Defence first.
Iron Defence + Iron Head (@Sabaku) ~ Zen Headbutt (@ Nala)
Then, Kaku, let's use Flash, lowering both of their accuracies and then Ice Beam at Sabaku again.
Flash ~ Ice Beam (@Sabaku) ~ Ice Beam (@Sabaku)

How rude eh, Sabaku? They're ganging up on you! So start by nulling he effects of their first lot of attacks by using Faint Attack just as Oculus is about to hit you, and try to ignore the flash as much as you can - your species is used to bright light in the desert sands. Then use Protect - Ice Beam hurts. Finish off with an Earthquake, you won't be hurting Nala this time!

‡ Round 2 ‡
As the next round begins, Sabaku watches as Oculus and Kaku prepare to cut loose with a pair of attacks. With expert timing, the Vibrava vanishes into thin air just as Oculus, shining with silvery light, rams toward her at top speed. As Sabaku reappears and swats at that pesky Beldum with some Dark energy, Kaku’s Flash illuminates the scene. Nala looks away with eyes closed and thus prevents the move from working, but poor Sabaku doesn’t quite manage to brace herself against the blaze of light so easily. Her Accuracy subsequently drops.
Nala, meanwhile, struggles to rise up off the ground but can’t quite manage the feat thanks to the Gravity still bearing down upon her.
Nala: <Can’t move!>
Sabaku: <-4 EP; -1 Acc>
Oculus: <-6 HP; -10 EP; +2 Def>
Kaku: <-4 EP>
After that failed Magnet Rise, Nala closes her eyes and begins to accrue electric current. Her fur sticks up on end as the static runs rampant across and throughout her body. Meanwhile, Kaku fires off another chilling Ice Beam at Sabaku this time, but the wily Vibrava won’t be putting up with that stuff this time around. She throws up a light brown barrier just int ime, dispelling the flecks of icy energy in one go. Yes! Finally, Oculus slams forward and nails Nala with a powerful psionic headbutt. The Shinx stumbles backward and hisses. A reasonable response, really, when you think about it. Headbutts in general aren’t fun and Psychic ones are almost certainly less so.
Nala: <-10 HP; Chg>
Sabaku: <-8 EP>
Oculus: <-6 EP>
Kaku: <-8 EP>
Nala begs. Nala pleads. Nala grovels in front of Sabaku and goes oh no, oh please no. However, she simply isn’t Sabaku’s trainer and thus can’t force her ally to go against her commands. The Vibration Pokemon slams into the ground with a powerful Earthquake, shaking things up and causing all other Pokemon besides herself to take a hefty bit of damage, but none more than poor Nala.
After a moment, Nala manages to shake it off and cuts loose with a chaotic Discharge. Bolts of electricity fly everywhere, including directly at her ally who is thankfully immune. Both Oculus and Kaku take the hit and are appropriately jostled by the attack, especially the former, who must suffer the effects of Paralysis. Since Oculus has already expended all his actions for the time being, it’s all up to Kaku who lets out a happy chirp and executes C: \My Computer\Attacks\GenI\Machine\IceBeam yet again. The Porygon scores a bit of luck: ice crystals form around the Vibrava yet again but this time cannot be shaken off so easily. They Freeze Sabaku solid, rendering him immobile for the time being.
Nala and Kaku exchange annoyed looks. The two Pokemon on the field who have enough Guts to benefit from a Status effect are the only ones not Paralyzed or Frozen! Golly, didn’t that just work out super?

I have GOT to start reading the real effects of some moves, I've made this kind of mistake too many times :x
Sabaku, start off with Heat Wave at Occulus to thaw yourself off nicely, then use Outrage for the rest of the round at Kaku the cybernetic duck. It it protects against it, switch targets to Occulus. If it uses Flash, close your eyes.
Nala, start off with a Shock Wave followed by a boosted Thunder at Occulus, finishing off with a Discharge to hit the pair of them. Once again - if it uses Flash close your eyes.
Sabaku: Heat Wave ~ Outrage @Kaku
Nala Shock Wave ~Thunder @ Occulus ~ Discharge
Alrighty then! Let's getphysicalstarted.
They're really picked on you this round, Occulus, so lets see. I dunno if clear body prevents the loss of speed with paralysis, but, even if it does, lets pick on Nala with three Zen Headbutts.
Zen Headbutt @ Nala X3
However! We will probably lose you this round. So, we'll have to rely mostly on Kaku to take down one of Cynder's equally. Ice Beam twice at Sabaku, seeing as two will knock her out. And then Tri-Attack at Nala, if she is still there.

Sabaku, reduced to a Vibravacicle, does her best to free herself from her icy prison with a blistering Heat Wave. The hot swells of air melt the ice in no time at all and continue on through the air to Oculus, who simply is not built to withstand heat and consequentially fries. Oculus takes a second hit so soon after the first as Nala’s amped-up Shock Wave sends an unpleasant assault of high voltage through its body.
Though Sabaku is no longer Frozen, that doesn’t mean she’s out of the ice box just yet. Kaku unleashes yet another Ice Beam at her, sending another devastating chill through her body. Oculus, meanwhile, rams forward with yet another Zen Headbutt for Nala. Limited movepools kind of bite the big one, eh?
Nala: <-10 HP; -4 EP>
Sabaku: <-20 HP; -8 EP>
Oculus: <-25 HP; -6 EP>
Kaku: <-8 EP>
Sabaku turns up the dial on her rage-o-meter and prepares to lash out at Kaku; however, what with her compromised vision, she starts attacking a few cattails at the pond’s edge without realizing it. Yeah, you slay those cattails, Sabaku! Whoo! Nala uses up the last of her stored Charge energy and by Thundering the living shit out of Oculus, causing the Beldum to fall against the ground like the lump of dead weight he is. Kaku, realizing its partner has been defeated, lets out a primal roar that sounds more or less like a dial-up Internet connection and attacks Kaku with yet another Ice Beam. This time around, the chill proves to be too much for the Vibrava. She succumbs to the cold.
Nala: <-10 EP>
Sabaku: <-20 HP; -10 EP>
Oculus: <-5 HP>
Kaku: <-8 EP>
All on their lonesome for the time being, Nala and Kaku exchange their next set of moves, trading off a crackling Discharge for a three-tiered beam of fire, electricity and ice. The moves strike their respective targets who are thrown back a few feet. They then peer at one another intensely as they wait for their trainers to summon the next Pokemon onto the field.

Both trainers recall their fallen Pokemon and call out their new selections. Toucan Sundae opts for a blood-red bat with a revoltingly large mouth while Cynder, on the other hand, summons a yellow sea weasel into battle. The new kids on the block stare one another down as the fight commences. Stoker tries to lull Marmite into a deep sleep using calming Hypnotic waves. As Marmite feels exhaustion wash over her, she just barely manages to spew out a little steam of water that coils into a glowing blue ring hovering over the field. Suddenly, Sleep takes her.
Meanwhile, Nala’s fur stands on end as she commands a massive discharge of electricity to fry up Stoker. The Golbat’s wings begin to feel awfully rigid as Paralysis takes hold, limiting his mobility. Finally, Kaku unleashes another multicoloured beam at Nala. Methinks the poor little Shinx is about to drop…
Nala: <-10 HP; -14 EP>
Marmite: <-4 EP; Slp>
Stoker: <-20 HP; -4 EP; Par>
Kaku: <-6 EP>
Delighted that his plan to incapacitate Marmite has worked to perfection, Stoker swoops in and wraps those big nasty fangs around the Buisel’s shoulder. He then begins to drain health from the sea weasel who fights back by muttering in her sleep. Suddenly, hailstones begin to descend from the sky and pelt all the battlers on the field. Irritating!
As Nala circles the drain, she puts everything she has into one final attack. She sends a crackling display of high voltage Stoker’s way, electrocuting him with everything she’s got. Pleased with herself for what she’s managed to accomplish, she closes her eyes and braces herself as Kaku’s next Tri Attack takes her out of the battle.
Nala: <-6 HP; -10 EP>
Marmite: <-12 HP; -4 EP>
Stoker: <-20 HP; -6 EP; +6 HP>

As Stoker and Kaku face off against one sleeping Buisel, things seem to be looking good for Team Toucan Sundae. However, Paralysis rears its ugly head and causes Stoker to drift down to the ground, unable to attack. Marmite, still Sleeping, begins to babble beneath her breath. She then hops to her feet like a charmed puppet and ambles toward Kaku, smacking the Porygon with her water-infused tail. Kaku fights back by gobbling his opponent’s tasty, life-sustaining dreams, leaving only dark and painful nightmares behind.
Marmite: <-10 HP; -7 EP>
Stoker: <Can’t move!>
Kaku: <-11 HP; -8 EP; +5 HP>

Marmite, let's continue with the Sleep Talking. If you wake up, use Blizzard for whatever time is left.

Cynder returns poor Nala to her Pokeball after a long fight and summons a new Pokemon to the field. With a flash of red light, a clawed weasely thing steps into battle. Without missing a beat, the Sneasel darts toward Kaku and thrusts his open palm forward. The Porygon tumbles backward, its circuits momentarily in disarray. Stoker, meanwhile, watches this go on from the sidelines as he begins to devise a cunning plan to defeat all his foes. Oh-ho, Golbats are so clever and creepy…
Marmite, still away in sleepy world, begins mumbling beneath her breath. Suddenly, the pond begins to bubble. The Pokemon peer at it with curiosity as, suddenly, a massive swell of water rises from its surface! The Surf spills down upon Stoker and Kaku, sending them tumbling away due to its sheer strength. When at last the water drains away, it begins clear that Kaku has chirped its last chirp. The Porygon lies there, unable to move.

Unable to twitch a muscle, Stoker watches in terror as swells of ice and snow come in from the distance. The snow and ice pile upon poor Stoker, who dreams of lying on a sweltering beach in the Dominican with a pina colada and a few lady Golbats nearby. Alas, Stoker… keep dreaming.
