Let's start off with an Earthquake, with any luck it'll at least drown out the noise from Screech, an it should have some interesting effects on the arena. Then get in there slow, (Trick Room RULES!) and use Reflect to stop megahorn hurting as much, and finish with Telekinesis to stop it in it's tracks and make it a sitting duck for the next round.

    Earthquake ~ Reflect ~ Telekinesis

    ‡ Pre-Round ‡

    ‡ Round 10 ‡

Nsmbwii recalls his fallen Buneary and summons an armoured knight with two jousty pole thingers ready to do some damage. With the physics of the battlefield still warped by Trick Room, the Escavalier is actually the first to strike and begins Screeching horribly. Glaucous winces and feels its Defence stat take a dip before it retaliates with a powerful Earthquake, causing the palace to shake about. Gwen is tossed into a crystal formation, causing it to shatter, while several others tumble downward and break on the ground.

Suddenly, Entei appears and howls. Suddenly, the location changes and we find ourselves in a pleasant field with numerous flowers dotting the landscape. A series of crystal steps runs around the new arena leading upward. Ooh. Purdy.

    Glaucous: <-8 EP; -2 Def>
    Gwen: <-12 HP; -4 EP>

Now that we find ourselves in a new location, Glaucous and Gwen are quick to the notice the Trick Room effect has been left behind. Though Glaucous is the faster of the two Pokemon, it follows its trainer’s orders and only throws up a Reflect after Gwen attacks with a powerful Megahorn. Glaucous mumbles. Those pokey javelin thingies suck!

    Glaucous: <-18 HP; Rft>
    Gwen: <-10 EP>

Gwen charges across the flowery field in an attempt to dish another Megahorn, but Glaucous uses a bit of hocus pocus to stop the Pokemon cold in its tracks. The Escavalier is hoisted into the air like some kind of charmed puppet; however, since he’s still in range, Gwen still manages to thrust one of his sharp appendages forward and pokes Glaucous in the eyes. As much as the move stings, it smarts a whole lot less thanks to the Reflect.

    Glaucous: <-9 HP; -4 EP>
    Gwen: <-10 EP; Tel>

    ‡ Round 11 ‡

As the next round begins, Glaucous locks eyes with Gwen. The Escavalier tries to amass a Substitute out of nearby flowers, but little blue mirror has the upper hand in terms of Speed. Before Gwen can act, he finds himself lulled into a deep sleep. Night-night.

Glaucous’s Safeguard then fades away to nothing.

    Glaucous: <-4 EP>
    Gwen: <Slp>

As Gwen’s chest starts heaving, Glaucous flings a swirling black sphere at his opponent. The ball bursts against Gwen’s armour, doing minor damage, though the strength of the attack seems irrelevant to Gwen who merely continues slumbering the day away.

    Glaucous: <-6 EP>
    Gwen: <-4 HP>

While Gwen dreams of performing a rather mighty Bug Buzz, Glaucous uses this mental image as sustenance as it begins mowing down with a Dream Eater attack. Given the move’s typing, it doesn’t do a whole lot of damage, but it nonetheless helps to lessen the health disparity between the two battlers.

    Gwen: <-6 HP>

Rock Slide until it wakes up, and if it does, use Hypnosis again while it's groggy and if there's time use Rest yourself, and then use Sleep Talk if really neccessary.

    ‡ Round 12 ‡

While Gwen slumbers away still floating in the air all Telekinesis-like, Glaucous attacks with a tumbling onslaught of falling rocks. As boulder after boulder bash themselves against the poor Escavalier, she begins muttering in her sleep peculiarly. Suddenly, the sleeping Pokemon does a jig! It’s all quite bizarre and vaguely marionette-esque, but hey, whatever floats your boat, right? As a result of Gwen’s little dance, her Attack stat mounts.

    Glaucous: <-6 EP>
    Gwen: <-8 HP; -4 EP; +2 Att>

Glaucous keeps the rocks a-comin’ with a second Rock Slide. Once more, the little Bug-type knight starts muttering in her sleep and strikes with a massive Horn Attack! Though the increased Attack stat gives the move a little extra kick, the typing at play here coupled with Glaucous's Reflect makes the move nothing much to write home about.

After fulfilling its function, the Reflect fades away.

    Glaucous: <-3 HP; -6 EP>
    Gwen: <-8 HP; -5 EP>

Suddenly, Gwen wakes up! Glaucous is quick to step into action, readying another Hypnosis, but as the latter Pokemon wipes sleep from her eyes she doesn’t quite notice the Bronzor’s attempt to lull her back into dreamland. But the Bronzor merely continues laying down the Hypnotic charm and maybe it’s the Telekinesis effect but Gwen seems awfully compelled. Just like that, she's out like a light. Once asleep again, she begins resumes Sleep Talking a little more and spews out a glob of Toxic. It smacks against the Bronzor and runs off with no effect.

    Glaucous: <-4 EP>
    Gwen: <-4 EP; Slp>

Start off by setting up a Stealth Rock for the next battler, then use Ancientpower hopingg for a boost, and finish off with Rock Slide.

    ‡ Round 13 ‡

Glaucous cunningly places a Stealth Rock to trip up the next battler while Gwen, still asleep, continues babbling. Then, with her eyes still closed, Gwen starts staring right at Glaucous. To be honest, you might say that the fact that Gwen’s eyes are closed actually adds to the Scary Face’s creepy factor. Either way, Glaucous’s Speed takes a hit.

    Glaucous: <-4 EP; -2 Spd>
    Gwen: <-4 EP; SRk>

Now the more swift Pogey on the field, Gwen continues Sleep Talkin’ the day away. This time, she rams herself forward and smashes Glaucous with her head. Though typing robs the move of a little bit of its might, Glaucous feels a little overwhelmed and needs a few moments to gather its center.

    Glaucous: <-8 HP; Fln>
    Gwen: <-5 EP>

Gwen once again wakes up and, delighted to be conscious again, she takes a big ol’ chomp out of her opponent. Glaucous wails and retaliates with a barrage of tumbling rocks that batter Gwen again and again and again.

The Bronzor rolls its eyes. That Escavalier scores flinch hax off of one Headbutt whereas all of these Rock Slides aren’t getting anything? This is simply criminal!

    Glaucous: <-16 HP; -6 EP>
    Gwen: <-8 HP; -4 EP>

Since you can't attack this round, use Future Sight to set yourself up for another round. Then use Charge Beam to hopefully beat the subs, and then use Rock Slide.

    ‡ Round 14 ‡

As the next round begins, Glaucous closes its eyes and begins to look toward the future. It envisions an attack that might smite this irritating knight (accidental rhyming words FTW) and watches as Gwen does a little bit of hocus pocus of his own. He finds a daisy chain and imbues it with a little bit of health, thereby creating a Substitute. Time will tell how this tactic will hold up.

    Glaucous: <-8 EP>
    Gwen: <-10 HP; -4 EP; Sub: 10 HP>

Glaucous begins to glow with a bright yellow energy. It fires off a Charge Beam at the daisy chain Substitute and, though it looks a little singed, it’s still intact. Fortunately, the Bronzor receives a little boost in power as a souvenir. Meanwhile, Gwen marches forward and takes a rather nasty bite out of the blue mirror. Those stat modifiers make for a pretty nasty chomp.

    Glaucous: <-16 HP; -3 EP; +1 SpA>
    Gwen: <-4 EP; Sub: 5 HP>

Summoning another barrage of rocks, Glaucous manages to put an end to Gwen’s silly Substitute. The rocks smother the daisy chain, causing it to break at last. Gwen, meanwhile, uses this opportunity to take another bite out of his foe. Rudeness!

Curiously, the Bug Bite causes Gwen’s Special Attack to take a turn for the better. He seems a little confused by this and clearly wasn’t expecting it, but he chooses to ask no questions.

You did great Glaucous, now we might as well just set up for the next battler. get the bang for our buck as some may say, and use a combo of Reflect, Safeguard and Light Screen to weaken the blows and keep the next battler happy.

Reflect + Light Screen + Safeguard

Glaucous closes its eyes and begins to use its last bit of strength to set up some key defences. As Gwen creates another Substitute out of a nearby pebble, Glaucous creates two shimmering barriers of gold and silver light as well as a white energy veil that drapes itself over the Bronzor's side of the field.

With that, Glaucous's time is up. Defeated, it drifts down to the ground and lands amid the daisies.

    ‡ Round 16 ‡

Cynder’s next selection comes in the form of a flame-backed mammalian Pokemon that swipes the air aggressively as it takes to the field. Gwen, immediately recognizing an opportunity to lower her opponent’s heat just a bit, summons rain clouds to spill water over the battle. However, before more than a couple of drops strike the field, Brenton lets out a howl that forces the clouds to dispel. The sun burns brighter than ever and Gwen glowers. Well, so much for that plan.

    Brenton: <-4 EP>
    Gwen: <-4 EP; Sub: 15 HP>

Brenton spews out a tumbling wheel of flames that bounds across the battlefield. It collides with Gwen’s pebble and, due in part to the sunlight bearing down upon the battle, the Substitute immediately burns it away to dust. Gwen, rather than directly attacking, simply responds by shrieking at the top of her lungs. Oh, yay, how pleasant.

    Brenton: <-4 EP; -2 Def>
    Gwen: <-4 EP; Sub: Broken!>

Without Gwen’s convenient Substitute to protect him, the Escavalier must now endure the full force of Brenton’s Flamethrower, which burns and sizzles against his armour in the most unpleasant way. Gwen manages to cut loose with another Screech, but at this point, the knight in shining armour is looking positively sunk.

    ‡ Round 18 ‡

As the next round begins, Nsmbwii says sayonara to his fallen Escavalier and sends a new Pokemon into battle. With a flash of red, a cute widdle Piplup bursts out of her Pokeball and waddles into the thick of things… and into a patch of rocks, which actually hurts. Though his opponent is a wee one, Brenton knows that thing can pack quite a punch if it wants to, and thus he tries to deal a little quick damage before zooming back to his Pokeball. However, something just isn’t right.

After a moment, Brenton peers at his trainer and whimpers. He stays in play. Meanwhile, Lekatrice sets up a life-giving Aqua Ring just as Brenton’s Reflect and Light Screen flicker away to nothing.

    Brenton: <Can’t move!>

Brenton looks at Lekatrice and tries to execute a sizzling bite… but… can’t. Lekatrice tilts her head, confused as to why she’s having such an unusually easy time with this. However, rather than questioning it, she simply charges forth with an aquatic tackle. Brenton lets out a yelp as he’s thrown back into a patch of daisies. Thanks to the Brenton’s pitiful defences, the move—which have already dealt quite a bit of damage without the modifiers—absolutely obliterates him.

    Brenton: <-21 HP; Can’t move! >
    Lekatrice: <-6 EP>

As Brenton pulls himself up and is once again rendered useless, Lekatrice causes a few rocks to materialize out of nowhere and sends them slamming toward her foe. Brenton lets out a cry as these rocks bury him alive in a tomb of sorts.

    Brenton: <-15 HP; -1 Spd; Can’t move!>
    Lekatrice: <-3 EP>

The Aqua Ring sprays Lekatrice with water, soothing her sores <+3 HP>.

I'm sure that I checked if it could use U-turn... I must have got confused since I have like rediculous amounts of tabs open at any one time and about three of them were on Bulbappedia :x

Alright, let's use Agility to dodge Wild Charge, then charge in with Waterfall. Finally, Protect against the 2nd Wild Charge.
<------ Major thanks to Cynder for these!

    ‡ Round 19 ‡

The next round kicks off as Brenton, finally able to vent his aggression after a whole round of inaction, charges at Lekatrice as ribbons of electricity dart and leap around his body. However, before he can make contact, Lekatrice taps into some secret wellspring of speed and throws her body out of Brenton’s path of destruction. The Quilava slams his foot into the ground and lets out a cry. Aww, poor guy just wants to do some damage!

Brenton's Safeguard grows faint before disappearing altogether.

    Brenton: <-7 EP>
    Lekatrice: <-4 EP; +2 Spd>

Enjoying her sudden wealth of Speed, Lekatrice throws her body forth with another aquatic tackle that deals just as much destruction as the last. Nursing a bruise or two, Brenton opens his mouth and spits out a few glowing stars that slice up Lekatrice for some minor damage.

    Brenton: <-21 HP; -4 EP>
    Lekatrice: <-6 HP; -6 EP>

Once more, Brenton decides another Wild Charge is in order and bounds toward Lekatrice as electric current causes his body to sizzle. However, his attempt fails yet again. At the last second, Lekatrice whips up a solid blue energy barrier that repels the attack in all its sparking glory. At this point, Brenton lets out a few choice swear words. Egads, do you kiss your Trainer with that mouth?

    Brenton: <-7 EP>
    Lekatrice: <-8 EP>

Lekatrice giggles at the cool tickle of the Aqua Ring's water as it brings her back up to near-perfect health <+3 HP>.
