Snore Warrior stares at his foe and begins rhythmically pounding his chest, getting into a battle frenzy. Cresselia notes the bear's sudden surge in power, and decides to play things defensively to make up for it. She does so by summoning a volley of clones to take hits for her as Snore charges forward, slamming his jaws into two of them before finally licking the real Cresselia last. His power is impressive, but not enough to intimidate Cresselia.

Utilizing the vast sunlight above, Cresselia fires off a powerful ray of solar energy to strike Snore Warrior's side; he sinks into the ocean for a few seconds before swimming back up.

Now that's impressive.

Cresselia forms a blade out of mental energy and flings it forward telepathically. The blade stretches across the air and slashes Snore, giving him a bloody gash on his belly. He thinks nothing of the wound before getting a mental assault with the moon pokémon's psychic attack. With her last assault, Cresselia paralyzes Snore Warrior with a swift thunder wave.

But Snore Warrior's resolve is quite strong, and he manages to power through the paralysis at least twice to slam the crescent into the ocean twice with his girth -- unfortunately, the impact of the ocean dampens the damage a little bit.

Snore Warrior's rage subsides for a bit as he purges his stiff muscles with a refreshing technique. You notice that all the while he's doing this, Cresselia remains motionless with her eyes closed. It's eerie, but you don't let it bother you. Snore Warrior, now coming to his senses, throws his body into the motionless Cresselia as she shinks into the ocean and bobs up. The action repeats itself a second time before Cresselia's eyes open. You wonder what's about to happen until--

SHINK!

Three beams of light rain from the sky and envelope Snore Warrior, doing incredible damage each time. It's a good thing he started focusing on his defenses again.

You groan at Cresselia's last comment, but then chuckle when you imagine a thugged-out clefairy showing up and saying "Aww snap," as if he was part of the dream crafter's entourage. You immediately regain focus as you see Snore Warrior slam the bird to the ocean one last time before she retalliates with another psycho cut, sending another blade of mental energy to slice up Snore Warrior. Quickly, you dive into the ocean and make a swim for your snorlax as Cresselia readies another psycho cut. However, before she can fire it off, she is struck from behind by a renegade fire blast.

"Your opponent is me!"

After you climb atop Snore Warrior (who is presently nursing his wounds), you watch as Big Bird stares down your opponent, looking like some sort of badass.

Proving yet again that you're not 100 percent in the battle, you start scratching Snore-ior's ear; he melts at the ensuing act.

Meanwhile!, things are happening! Cresselia, sensing her foe's weakness, decides to play dirty by firing three swift ice beams at Big Bird, crippling her marvelously. Big Bird squawks before melting the ice with another fire blast; it manages to burn Cresselia in the process. Score! Bird then fires off a pulse of draconic energy before ascending higher into the air for a few moments. You begin to wonder just what got into Big Bird as Cresselia snickers, thinking he had escaped.

NOPE!

Seconds later, Big Bird comes diving down with a surge of dragon energy howling behind her. She swoops down and collides painfully into Cresselia, sending them both into the ocean.

It takes a moment, but both pokémon emerge.

You return your attention to the battle at hand after realizing that, despite being a legendary of awesome power, she's having a difficult time besting two of your pokémon. You put your scratching on hold and continue to cheer Big Bird on as flames pour from her beak. A star-shaped fire blast is shot forward, tearing across Cresselia's rubbery skin. She cries out as the flames bite, but remains poised, summoning a few more clones to help her absorb the damage as the sun slowly descends into the horizon.

Knowing what to do in this situation, Big Bird changes her attack strategy and summons a sudden downpour to help wash away the illusions before climbing into the sky once more. At the peak of her climb, Bird caws before diving down swiftly. She doesn't even flap her wings, just allowing gravity to do the work for her. Her speed gets greater and greater as she slams headfirst into Cresselia's... substitute!?

That psychic pokémon is a crafty one, sacrificing a small portion of health to absorb all the damage. And before you know it, the sun has completely disappeared as the moon takes its place. The rain continues to bathe you both as Cresselia begins absorbing the moon's rays and healing her damage.

Shit.

As the moon continues to give Cresselia strength, you realize that now's as good a time as any to end the match. You recall your dragon before summoning Love to (hopefully) finish Cresselia off. Love enters the battle doggy-paddlin, but remains loyal to your cause despite his loathing of saltwater.

Cresselia reacts by summoning a safeguard veil to keep her protected -- it's almost as if she could predict the future, because right after she summoned it, Love's electric shock crashed into the veil, dissipating it easily. She smirks before readying another ice beam, but puts it on hold when she realizes that her opponent has gone missing. A few seconds pass and there's still no sign of the absol. She ponders for a moment before being struck from behind! Crafty pup, she immediately fires that pent-up ice beam and pegs Love in the side.

Love howls for a second before disappearing in the ocean once more; Cresselia, however, knows what's up this time. As Love comes out of the ocean, ready to pounce, Cresselia knocks him away with a charge beam. This isn't good.
