Hullo TPMers!

This thread is for you to let us know what you think of the Fanfiction and Writer's Lounge forums, and make any suggestions about what you would like to see change.

If you frequent other forums on the internet and have seen something really take off elsewhere, why not suggest it for our community here and we will get it up and running. Or, if you want to take charge, why not post here and see if there is support for the idea before initiating it yourself? Not everything has to be done by the mods, especially if you think you might be able to do it more spectacularly than we can!

So, without further ado, please feel free to start suggesting changes or modifications to the forums! You want a Reviewer's Organisation again? Or a trivia game? A fanfic calendar revival? A new banner for our subforum? A completely new idea that we've never even thought of?

You name it, we'll all discuss it and see where it goes!

Basically, the FFRO was a group of Fanficcers who provided detailed, comprehensive reviews of others' fanfics upon request. There hasn't been a review for a couple of years now, but we're considering trying to revive it.

What Brian said in the post above me - the FFRO gives detailed, scored reviews of a fic, but has become essentially defunct as of about two years ago.

We'd love to revive it in the near future. Obviously for that to happen there would need to be some members/readers who are interested in putting their hands up to be reviewers - so if you know of anyone, or are interested yourself, let us know!

I'll put my hand up for that. I love receiving concrit, but as with respect, I know that pretty much the only way to get it is to also give it.

Matt, that's awesome. Thanks for putting your hand up for this - that's kind of made my day, especially since we'd love to get the FFRO back up and running.

We'd need more than just one reviewer as it's a fair bit of work, but to know that even one person is keen is awesome!

I'd be down to do it part-time, as in reviewing a few, until I see if I could fit it into my schedule. It all depends on how busy I am once school starts, but that sounds kinda awesome.

I would like to see the FFRO back and in full force again. Geek knows I need some much needed feedback on non-Pokemon related fics. :3

Awesome, Dryk, it's not really a full-time thing so you just take fics as you have the time for them. Obviously though it's just best to know that you WILL be able to complete a review if you agree to take it - it's courtesy to the author.

(I speak from hypocritical experience - I once took on an enormous fic to review and never ever found the time to wade through it all - I still feel slightly horrible about it.)

Denny - I think we'd all love to see it come back, I know I would. I'd review again, as well, but I'd just be careful to not overcommit again.
