MLG: Doom Desire (learned by all Dark, Steel and Ghost ('cept Rotom) and legendaries).
Grey: Judgement (fully evolved 3rd stages and legends)
Blade: Aura Sphere (Humanoid pokemon, starters, legends)
U4: Magma Storm (every pokemon that can learn both Flamethrower AND Fire Blast)

CEB: Earthquake (Terrestrial 3d stage evo's?)
Darkly: Secret Sword (slash/blade-ish pokemon by nature)
DF44: Meteor Mash (what's the ruling here?)
Ayeun: Synthesis (grass pokemon?)
Mewy: Bide (what's the ruling here?)

I stated it in my Gym's rules about Bide that any PKMN that can defeat the Gym has access to the move Bide. Since I treat it like the Gen I TM.

Since Synthesis can already be learnt by all grass pokemon by defult, I allow anyone who defeats the gym to apply it to a fully evolved OR a non evolved THAT battled in the gym to learn it.

Denz: Bide is a pretty common move and compatible with almost any pokemon. Good to go!

Actually it was common in Gen I. So common that every PKMN that could learn a TM could learn it. It got extensively rare afterwards and only level and Breeding which out of 650-some Pokemon only 30 learn it by Level Up, and 12 learn it through Breeding. So it's pretty rare for a move that was common in Gen I

Grasswhistle can be learnt by All grass pokemon, as long as they have a detectable mouth. (Eliminates the Foongus, Bellsprout, and Tagela families)

Since we're getting all semantic about our TM's, can anybody think of some more Pokemon that should be capable of learning my Aura Sphere TM? The current candidates are starters, Legendaries, Pokemon in the Humanshape Egg Group, the Ralts family, and the Scraggy family. And, of course, any Pokemon capable of defeating my team.

The primary focus is on finding more humanoid Pokemon, though. There are many Pokemon that look like human-shaped animals, but only a very select few make you think 'human' first and then the animal/plant/entity represented second.

Blade, maybe you should allow any pokemon with arms, that can balance on their back legs to be able to use it...

Also, what is preventing say the Ekans family or Serviper from using it? Couldn't they fire it from their mouth?

They aren't smart enough. The whole point of Aura Sphere's use here is that you need to be a lot like a human martial artist: You have to be able to master your ki.

Not all of them. Heracross, for example, isn't. And the Humanshape egg group seems to have pretty arbitrary parameters... Cacnea qualifies but Rhydon doesn't? Illumise does but not Ledian or Leavanny or Kricketot?
