MLG: I'm glad you're enjoying it so far! It's critical to me that I write conversations that seem grounded in realism, no matter how far-fetched the premise of the story itself may seem.

I understand there's a certain element of Jason's "heroism" that's liable to be annoying, but I like to think of it as part of his upbringing - he was raised by a company man to be a company man, and to fix problems when and where he saw them so that they didn't become worse. To this extent, then, he simply can't help himself. The problem is now, what kind of attention is he going to draw to himself for it?

So far it's been Kelly's purpose in this story to hock Jason for pretty much everything he does... because he does sometimes behave a bit brainlessly, and that drives her absolutely nuts. She can't imagine life without applying a healthy amount of critical thinking to everything she does.

"Kanghostkhan"? Ha, I like it. And don't worry, you'll most definitely see her unleash her power... whether or not Jason wants her to...
