With fury running through its veins, Utrop dashes for the chill inducing phantom. Spying the green flash, Clavo raises its arms and conjurs another whip of chilling wind. The blast rips Utrop around, but he manages to get his teeth into Clavo's side and hang on for dear life.

Both competitors still holding on for dominance, Utrop tries to outspeed the phantom, but is actually outclassed by it! The close proximity only gives Clavo an advantage, as he inhales! The bandages that Utrop snagged his teeth on break free and slap Utrop back, even as the lizard tries to backstrack and redive in for another attack.

It works in Utrop's favor then, that his Crunch takes out the wily ghost.

Well now. Battle 7. This even tuned match continues on, with a metal monstrosity, and Raffelsia. The large plant throws up a slow moving cloud of powder, but it seems to hardly phase the massive disk. Mainly because all those rocks come and stab at Raff as she tries to plant her feet, and because Alec flings its arms open wide, forcing a snap of chilling breezes to blow by. [Rock Attack!! -2]

Alec contnues to float in close, bending those tab like metal fingers as it encroaches ever so carefully upon the plant. Raff quickly grabs at one of the plants with her left hand, and flings it up at the disk. It hits on Alec's underside, but Raff finds herself under a strange magenta glow.....

and then Alec hits the ground. asleep!

Unsure of this tomfoolery, Raff reaches for another stone. She manages to slam a rock up at Alec's base again.

Hitting teh ground with a ever increasing resonating sound, the metallic disk is now encroached upon by Raff. She lifts a heavier boulder up (barely) and flings it a short distance on the Pokemon, leaving a small but noticeable dent. Ouch.

But does Alec take that lying down? No. With one sleep indcued arm, it winds up and uppercuts Raff to the moon!

Raff lands with a thud a good distane away. Fearing for her safety with this sleeping puncher-she throws a smaller rock from that distance. The "plink" echoes a tad, and Alec once again spins wildly.

Pleased with her handiwork, Raff takes a step closer and gets another rock. However, her legs buckle and she cries in pain. Though asleep, the Metang manages to fire off a Confusion blast.

It doesn't stick too long and Raff is back on her feet. She throws that last rock, leaving a new dent for Alec to contend with.

Still snoozing away, Hardison was just easy pickings for Raff. Another boulder was rolled on top of it. Raff giggled as she tried to pin each of Hardison's legs down. Hardison however, seems to be a heck of a battler, and just steels up her sleeping reserves.

The nap time ends when the 5th rock hits Hardison 's left hindlimb. The beast jerks awake, and feels its left forelimb pinned by the boulder. Raising its free forelimb, a jolt of psychic energy rips Raff's concentration to shreds.

Raff stumbles onto her rump and shakes off the dizziness. But by then its too late. Another Psychic wave rips through the beast, leaving her wishing she could just burrow away and forever hide. Puffing her petals, Raff blasts another huge burst of powder over Hardison. In mere moments, the beast falls back asleep..

With her adversary still snoozing away, Raff dances the moments away. As she gleefully spins and twirls, her energy spikes. She may pull this out yet folks! With no hesitation, the 'gross whips its arms out and scratches as Raff's hide.

Upon contact however, there is a massive sporing release, and the massive beast comes to grips with a new foe-paralysis!

As the Gym Leader jumps for joy that that stupid ability finally worked, Raff walks over to the beast and clobbers it across the top. The hit has an added effect-a suction of nutrients. Prolly iron and selenium...err anyway. Alec floats up now...and stays there. Wobbling.

AH: -4E/-7H MR: 6 act.~~ R: -5E/+4H

Alec finally blinks, and stares down the poisonous plant. No more of this sleeping jazz. A Psychic blast is built up...but nothing comes out! Paralysis is coming into effect strong here! With all her strength, Raff clobbers Alec again, hoping to bring the beast down.

Why? Drain Punch cost like 4 en and does good dmg. With it being normal damage, it should hit for 7-and your hyper attack+His hyper defenses=nil change.

Raff grunts and tries to continue punching at the metallic beast. As it floats back and forth, Alec sings one hand. It knocks Raff back, giving her a hell of a headache.

Alec smirks, knowing that the Vileplume can't take much more. But the luck of the grasser may see it til' the end, as the second Drain Punch lands on a paralyzed disc. Alec rotates in place, sore about this.

Alec stayed there for a moment more, ticked of about being stuck in one place. But all that came to a sudden end for it, as one hand could finally stretch. With post haste, Alec released a final psychic battalion that knocked Raff flat on her back and clenched victory.

A true Gym Match here, with the stakes setting higher and higher each time. Ayeun and Wolfsong seem to be in sync with each other, knowing what to do to hinder each-but not enough to surpass. Out from Wolfy's side flies a small bird, intent on charming his way through the battle, while the land shifts and reveals a massive terrestrial beast from the garden.

Frosty, a no nonsense girl of a Torterra, bellows as Nate flies up to avoid her immediate wrath. Nate shines a light down from the bright heavens, causing glare that bugs the massive land tortoise. Not to be deterred by the shinines, Frosty lunges skyward, but misses her quarry!

A crack fills the air as Frosty lands, her girth enough to make the earth shudder. Nate swoops down and brings the cold with him,a back breeze that gives the banzai tree a nasty taste of winter early. Frosty plods forth however, seeing the plain of flowers that she could eat post-haste.

Impressed with himself, Nate dives in front of Frosty, and presses his luck. He lands on her back and begins drilling for oil! Turtle oil is very marketable, it removes pimples and has been said to reverse the signs of aging. Frosty however, is NOT confused about something pecking at her back and instantly bucks around. Sure, it was no Stone Edge, but the Rocks she kicked up slid all down her back and pegged the bird off her all the same.

Frosty seemed...aloof for the moment, as she plodded around. The chilling breeze that whipped through the arena did little to comfort her, but it did help her focus her abstract thoughts. In no time at all, she was up and about, ready to lay down some tailfeathers from the fugly crow.

Under the conclusion that she was still hampered, Nate flew in close and sweepd over her shell. The wind that trailed Nate slice across that banzai tree, giving Frosty a nasty shock. Frosty watched Nate fly east, and followed after with a plethora of energy. The rush of Stone crashed into Nate as he turned to look back.

Pain. Nate crashed to the ground in alot of pain, as Frosty plodded over, confidence beaming from her. Shaking the chills away once more (where was that wind coming from?), Frosty rears up on her hind legs, and brings all 684 lbs down with extreme prejudice. Nate caws desperately, before lying to one side, limp.

Nate, being the trooper he was, blasts upward from the rubble that was Frosty's doing. Being the girthy beast she was, Forsty merely moves sideways with a short but powerful burst of energy that tags Nate. The bird literally vanishes in one hot, and Frosty smirks, thinking its done.

Until a Murkrow perches on her head.Another stands in front of her and a third hops around a few feet away. Where did this flock come from?

NF: -3E +3 cl. ~~ F: -9E

Nate smirks, and the flock raises their wings. For a swift moment, the bird configuration blots out the sun, and do some unseen damage to Frosty. As the mental abberation subsides, Frosty bucks, forcing stone to clobber the herd. They're all wiped out and Nate hits the ground without a player to stand on.

NF: -7E/-16H ~~ F: -7E/-10H

Frosty plods over to set up, and spies that Nate is still moving. A welling of midnight hued energy is called upon, and the avian finds the strength to fly. Frosty decidedly charges forward, bursting through the pulse of energy and colliding dead on with Nate. Nate flies back from the blow, pushing up daisies..

Unbelieveable. Nate still moves as Frosty stares on in disbelief.This avian is not giving this win up so easily. Cawing to call upon any strength it has left, the bird rushes Frosty, aiming to end this fight in a fury. Frosty winces and erects a barrier around herself as Nate pecks his heart out, thinking his spell stopped her from moving.

Alas, when he pulls back, there she still stands, with anger in her eyes.

Sticking with what works, Frosty crouches down as low as she can(which isn't really far), and waits for Nate. Nate doesn't take any chances and swoops in for the blitzing strike. Its a souped up attack, and it leaves a gash across Frosty's face, but I believe the battering ram force of stone that collides with Nate is more potent.

NF: -7E/-18H ~~ F: -9E/-12H

Ay pulls out the win here, and reclaims control of the leaderboard.

Ayeun grins, and snaps her fingers, From the heated heavens falls a puff of sunshine! It lands with barely a sound, and performs a small cheer with its pompom arms. [Rock Attack!! -4H] In response, Wolfsong whips out a flier all her own. Instead of landing in this heat, Tara decides to fly around, as free as a bird. A direly fast bird, as Cotton notices.

Cotton hops up to meet her halfway, spinning off a powder as she bypasses Tara's incoming flight path. Tara dips through the dusty field, and feels something on her legs and wings. She turns around, unsure what Cotton did.

Tara lands and stumbles around, unsure what was this powder all over her body. As she pecked at its curious property of sparking like an electric current, Cotton quietly tied an ingrain root to her top pompom, so she could fly up a little bit.

Seeing the root try to keep itself alive, a nice Icy Wind went blowing by, giving her a heck of a freeze,

The paralysis struck with a relentless vengeance, as Tara sqwaked awkwardly. The intensive pain did nothing much to stop Cotton, as he commenced with a draining of life force. Though hampered by that steel typing, there was some health regained.

Cotton smiles, as Skarmory lands on a few rocks a yard or so away. This bird was going to fall. With reverie, she began a continuous drain of health from Tara to herself. Tara did not have any immediate resistance to this-because her body did not move!

The draining continued, and Tara was really under a bad spell. The paralysis continued, and she struggled to move. But Cotton continues to drain the life outta him.

Finally! Tara breaks free of the paralysis, to Cotton's dismay. Tara flaps her wings and caws in protest. The splash of Toxic waste washes over Cotton, and Cotton hisses in protest. That wasn't supposed to happen.
