Hm... I'll go into the pit, but using the strategy stated. Due to my Jolteon's power of being able to control things with his mind through psychic, we'll seek out something to use as a platform. If we find something, I'll have him take me down via the platform which he will take control of with his mind, so that I won't get injured, which would be... sad, and War can ride on the platform with me. Since cats always land on their feet, Eclipse can just jump down normally, but War will use his psychic powers to soften her fall.

If we couldn't find anything as a platform, however, I'll jump down, though have War control me to safety, 'cause otherwise I'd cry. O_o Then he'll do the same for Eclipse, then the same for himself. ^^ Psychic Jolteons come in handy, ne?

You walk through Route 31 and before you reach the cliffs, you notice two Grass Pokemon. A Seedot and a Sunkern lie in the sun, gossiping about something.

What will you do? Get closer to them and eavesdrop, ignore them and continue on towards the cliff, or something else.

You see an Absol ahead of you, and you realize that it must have been her who helped you. War and Eclipse arrive safely as well, and you take a deep breath, relieved that you all made it. THe Absol slowly saunters away into a cave that you notice ahead of you.

What will you do? FOllow the Absol into the cave, try to get out of the pit, look at your surroundings, or somehting else.

Avian Freeze- You tell Shirley to use Agility. Shirley concentrates to increase her speed as much as she can, and achieves a speed of 228! Preston and his Rapidash keep running steadily, trusting that their speed will help them get the advantage again. However, Bryce blocks their way and they only manage to advance 342 units, while Bryce stands right in front of him ahd his Rapidash traps Preston's with a Fire Spin.
You and Shirley take advantage of the confusion to run as fast as you can, while Alden doesn't release his fire Grip on you, and also takes his chance to dash forward. As a result, you both push each other forward, advancing 1368 units each!
The difference is... you've crossed the finish line!!!!

You wait until the fire goes down, and then you get your feet back on the floor, as everyone around you applauds. As your competitors take turns to shake your hand and Alden apologizes for the Fire Spin, a tall armored man approaches you and congratulates you.
"Well done. You have passed the first test," he tells you.
"What do you mean first test? I thought the tournament started at noon!," Bryce complains, to which the man replies...
"You will come across more than one surprise during this day."

Then the knight gestures for you to follow him.
"Come with me, please. Your next trial is waiting for you."

The_Legendary_Himo- (Or Himo). I take it you mean Yena. Yana's Amy's Houndour. You throw a snowball at the Delcatty, and so does Freya! Cray and Iris pick Sam as their target. On the opposite team, Sam hits Freya, Yena and Eric hit Iris, and Spook hits you. Now that most of you have been attacked, the next round is bound to get more interesting.

Cyndaquil- You approach the Seedot and Sunkern, and ask them directly what they're talking about. The pokemon are startled at your sudden appearance, and the Seedot looks angrily at you, but the Sunkern hops forward and, standing between you and the Seedot, kindly asks you who you are.
As you give the pokemon your name and apologize for startling them, the Sunkern tells you that it's ok, and then the Seedot speaks to you.
"Sorry, we've been under too much stress lately," he tells you. "Since those strange pokemon arrived at the river... we don't know what to do nor who to trust anymore."
You ask the pokemon to tell you more, and the Sunkern replies.

The_Legendary_Himo- (Or Himo). I take it you mean Yena. Yana's Amy's Houndour. You throw a snowball at the Delcatty, and so does Freya! Cray and Iris pick Sam as their target. On the opposite team, Sam hits Freya, Yena and Eric hit Iris, and Spook hits you. Now that most of you have been attacked, the next round is bound to get more interesting.

Cyndaquil- You approach the Seedot and Sunkern, and ask them directly what they're talking about. The pokemon are startled at your sudden appearance, and the Seedot looks angrily at you, but the Sunkern hops forward and, standing between you and the Seedot, kindly asks you who you are.
As you give the pokemon your name and apologize for startling them, the Sunkern tells you that it's ok, and then the Seedot speaks to you.

You ask the pokemon to tell you more, and the Sunkern replies.

Discotheque - Keeping sure War and Eclipse are close behind, you head into the dark cave Absol wandered into. The cave is very silent, and you hear no sound but your Pokemon and your footsteps and the dripping of stalactites. The mood is even somewhat creepy, the thought that there may be nothing here. You search around for the Scaponica plant, but so far, there are no plants in sight and stalactites dripping in a steady beat. You feel a bit chilled and rub your arms a bit. Absol turns around to look at you from the sudden movement, and you notice her eyes. Unlike other Absol, her left eye is a deep green and her right eye an icy blue. She stares at you with an expressionless look, and then saunters on. You continue to pursue her and you can see the loneliness in her abstract face. A brief breeze passes through the cavern and you wonder where that could come from as the surface is miles (O_O) up. You notice a junction ahead of you and Absol absently walks left.

What will you do? Continue pursuing Absol left, head right, or something else.

Parsec's Politoed - You call one of the Squirtle over and ask it if it would want to join you. The Squirtle looks at you with a sad look, gesturing at the pool. It seems like it is trying to tell you that it doesn't want to leave its home. YOu shrug and ask if it could give you one of its scales. It looks at you with a weird look, and then chuckles a bit, before diving back into the pool. You observe the shellfish Pokemon as it swims up subtly to one of its fellow Squirtle relaxing on the water and plucks off a scale! The other Squirtle shoots out of the water yelping at the pain as the Squirtle aiding you snickers as it swims back slowly, and hands you the scale. You laugh at its mischievous behavior and ask it to obtain for you a lily pad. He jumps back into the water and picks out a lily pad from right under another Squirtle! You take the lily pad, though feeling a bit bad for the other Squirtle and wave goodbye to all the swimming Squirtle. (That was a lotta Squirtle x_x). You feel a force and you are swept away back to the presence's room.
"Ahh, so you have gathered the items. Very well then. I'll take them now." It takes the scale and the lily pad, and a bit of Slubba's slime and puts them into a pot, stirring and chanting:
"Ajun yuka refu ik
Frezo hoti vuni bik
Sazu nopa lanu rack
Bring Reptilius Pyrus back!"
A big flash and a bang and some hulabaloo and BOOM, you see Reptilius Pyrus appear out of the large cauldron, a bit dazed, but otherwise fine.
"Heeheehee, now I shall send you two on your way." You feel the same force pulling at you once again and you find yourself in a whole new place. Ahead of you is a large Easter Island looking statue with a solemn look. You notice six surrounding rocks around the statue and a door right across the room.

WHat will you do? Head through the door, do something with the rocks (state what), examine the statue, or something else.

DarkPrincess - You try wake up Aerodactyl by shouting at him, but he continues dozing off. You then try smacking the lazy Pokemon, and it shouts out, "OW! Whaddaya think you're doing?!" You cross your arms and give it a stern look. "Whaddaya want me to do now?" Aerodactyl looks at you, yawning and when you turn around, you see three of the four elements in jars in front of you-water swaying back and forth, a fierce wind trying to escape from its prison, and a jar of dark mud. There are two empty bottles and a small scroll is dropped and you catch it, reading:

Equal the waves with its adversary
Capture the blaze and mix with the gale
Blend the earth with half the element that causes its demise
Release the flaming wind on the beast and give it nothing to consume but the distasteful muddy water until the creature is docile and only then shall you allow it the necessity of lives to heal its wounds and thirst.

What will you do now?

Phantom of Innocence-BF - You look around for your Pokemon and you see them all by your bedside. You smile at them, happy that they are safe and then you ask the man who he could possible be. The man smiles warmly at you and begins talking.
"You see, I am a psychologist. I research and perform studies on dreams. I have always been fascinated by the workings of the mind, especially dreams. Your dreams are the most interesting ones I've seen. I try to dig for the meaning of dreams, and I can't grasp what yours could mean. You're probably wondering how I know what your dream was. You see, my Drowzee, Phantasy, loves to eat dreams, but I've trained her to sense dreams and describe them to me. I do my best to interepret what I cna from these dreams, but it is very difficult, believe me, and I am still wondering what yours could mean. Why don't you have some hot tea while I try to decipher the meaning of your dreams."

Lady Vulpix - Noctowl begins the round by focusing her Hidden Power Water once more and blasts waves at Sandslash, who hangs on by a sliver! The shrew Pokemon retaliates with a strong Rock Slide! Totally unexpected! Noctowl ails from the rocks tumbling on to her wings and body and ultimately injuring her! She gasps for breath as she is about to run out of energy, and the two Pokemon stare at each other, each one determined to win. Mareep, though blinded by the sand, follows up with a Swift, and she shoots out star projectiles, cutting Trapinch, who runs at the sheep Pokemon and Bites her, getting a mouthful of wool but injuring the young Pokemon.

Noctowl did 56 damage to Sandslash, leaving him with only 8 HP!
Sandslash did 71 damage to Noctowl, leaving her with only 9 HP!
Mareep did 10 damage to Trapinch, leaving him with 25 HP!
Trapinch did 10 damage to Mareep, leaving her with 32 HP!
