Despite my intense loathing of doubles, I'm in--either as a ref or a battler.
[Edit] Also, it's funny to me that you claimed your points from the newsletter but didn't scroll down far enough to see what else you could've claimed.
I'm Baackk ~ (After a very short break)
Hmm, I'm feeling lazy, so no arena set up. Challenger can pick :3
I wanna earn a load of points so... 6 on 6 Double battle? I send out one pokemon, challenger sends out their two, I send out again and attack.
I'll send out my Giratina, umm, Giratina! I wanna use this guy in a battle already xD
Origin forme, so Levitate ability.

Wow, member of the season again? I kinda got excited when I got the 2 points and didn't bother to read the last bit xD That, and I wasn't expecting to get it again. I'll edit the post, thanks Grey!![]()
Hnrr.. up against a Legendary with none of my own? Why not. Lemme consult my team for a moment and get back to you with specifics.
OK, i'll send out Rorschach my male Zwelious with Hustle, and Obelisk the Tormentor, my male Golurk with Iron Fist.
Let's make the arena something fairly well known. The Spear Pillar stage from Smash Bros Brawl (2 links there). An ancient ruin above, and a cave system beneath. Palkia and Dialga circle above, watching the battle, and will rarely attack, though it is not unheard of. Dialga attacks the ruins, Palkia attacks through the cave. Very rarely, Cresselia will appear and gift a HP or Energy boost to all pokemon present.
Looks good to me -- I can see myself enjoying this battle then.

Oooh, sounds fun! My second Pokemon will be... Percival the male Gallade with Steadfast.
Giratina, begin with Energy Ball at the Golurk, followed by Aura Sphere at Zweilous, and finish up with charging a Shadow force, currently without a target. Keep Razor on his toes.
Percival, start the battle by setting up Reflect, then X-Scissor at Zweilous. Finish up with a Shadow Sneak if Golurk goes to attack you, or if not use Night Slash.
Obelisk, make a Substitute big enough to absorb the Energy Ball, then Fling what's left of it at Gallade.
If it's still intact, then use the cover it gives you to hit Gallade with a Focus Punch. If it's broken, then pump yourself up with Iron Defence.
Rorschach (why did I pick a nickname I can never spell?) blast Giratina with a Thunder Wave to slow it down, then Work Up your stats. Finish with a Dragon Pulse aimed at Giratina.

ROUND ONE
As we come acquainted to the ancient and legendary Spear Pillar, both trainers -- Cynder and Razor Leaf -- summon their pair of pokémon. Cynder goes with a gallade, Percival, and the legendary Giratina, while Razor chooses his zweilous and golurk combo, Rorschach and Obelisk the Tormenter respectively.
The two teams of pokémon size eachother up as the commands are called out, and Tina begins the battle by charging up an energy ball. As it does this, Percy erects a protective veil around his team while Obelisk summons a doll from his lifeforce to absorb all attacks. Tina's energy ball collides with the doll, causing enough damage to rip it to shreds quite easily. Rors, during all of this, glides behind Tina and paralyzes the much larger dragon with a swift thunder wave!
GIRATINA : -6PP, +25% Par -- -5PP : GALLADE // ZWEILOUS : -5PP -- -10HP, -5PP, Sub: 0HP : GOLURK

With Giratina's muscles compromised, its movements become increasingly sluggish as its ally begins the second act. Percy, with his blade-like appendages, slashes at the hydra, dealing considerable damage as Obelisk hurls the pieces of its fallen shield at him. The stuffed animal does pathetic damage against Percy's and his shield. Rors, despite all this, bulks up and steadily raises his attacking power. He is then struck by Tina's powerful aura sphere, sending him to the ground quite easily.
GIRATINA : -7PP -- -6PP, -4HP : GALLADE // ZWEILOUS : -12HP, +10% Atk, +10% SpA, -5PP, -14HP -- -2PP : GOLURK
REFLECT - 5 actions // null
Rors, quite unnerved, retalliates with a dragon pulse -- the blast slides across the air wickedly before striking Tina in the torso, dealing heightened damage, as Percy slashes at Obelisk with his darkened blade. The damage against the golem, however, is weakened when it struck against its steel armor.
Giratina, the legendary dragon, is the last to act, and merely vanishes from Spear Pillar entirely, leaving everyone to wonder just where it went...

Hey, isn't golurk a ground type, not steel? So it is weak against dark and doesn't resist it, at least according to bulbpedia. [link]
Base damage of Night Slash, for me, is 7HP. I factor weaknesses as 1.5x the base damage, bringing Night Slash to 10.5 (I rounded up, so 11). With Golurk having Iron Defense, that brought the damage down to 9.
-Grey
My mistake, I forgot about the Iron Defence so I thought the way you said that he had steel armour meant that you'd mistakingly said that Golurk was a steel type ^^;
Tired, can't really think straight or some up with amazing strategies right now. So..
Obelisk, Fly up and away from the two grounded pokemon. If Giratina appears next to you, then hit it with repeated Shadow Punches. If not, then toss a couple of Shadow Balls at Percy instead.
Rorschach, smack Percy in the face with a Dragon Tail, then chow down with a double Crunch
Oh broken tables!!
i Judge your entertainment!

(518): I legitimately just tried to piss above my head. I got to my chest at highest. There's piss everywhere.
(801): I can't help but be optimistic. I'm like a ball of slutty sunshine.
Alright, so let's take advantage of this...
Percy, since you're the one that'll be focused on this time around, take the Dragon Tail hit like a man and I'll switch you for my male Eevee with Adaptability, Tekio. Tekio, use Heal Bell and Safeguard to both get rid of and prevent further paralysis for Tina.
If Dragon Tail doesn't work like it does in the game, the use the momentum from the Dragon Tail to hit Obelisk with a Leaf Blade while he's in the air. If you make it up there grab on to him and use Confuse Ray followed by another Leaf Blade. If you can't grip on, use Brick Break and Drain Punch on Rorschach.
Giratina, hit and distract Obelisk with Shadow Force, then use Shadow Sneak twice to avoid the Shadow Ball attacks. Be a ninja! xD
Since I'm not 100% sure of how Shadow Sneak works, if it doesn't work in the way I think it does then make a big enough subs to take the Shadow Balls and use your own Shadow Ball.

ROUND TWO
Obelisk begins the second round, taking its golem-like exterior high into the air for safety against the two groundlings. Tina, however, manages to appear directly behind him and bites down hard on Obe's plating. The spectral dragon's ghostly energy causes most of the damage. Rors, meanwhile, aims at Percy and flings his tail wildly at the psychic. Percy is flung backwards, but not up, making his attempt to attack Obelisk useless.
GIRATINA : -6PP -- -4HP : GALLADE // ZWEILOUS : -3PP -- -2PP, -16HP : GOLURK

Tina attempts to escape the skies from Obelisk, but the golem is just too swift for the paralyzed dragon. Despite Tina's incredible speed, Obelisk becomes even faster as he snaps back, pelting Tina's hide harshly as it finally lands on the ground. Percy picks himself off of the ground and takes aim at the hydra before darting toward him quickly. He reels back and slams his fist forward, dealing great damage before he himself is bit by said hydra.

Tina attempts once more to escape Obelisk's powerful fist, but ultimately succumbs to it anyway. Rors bites down on Percy's arm as the gallade drains away health using his other one.

Hmph, so that didn't work. I'll go nice and simple this time :3
Giratina: Aura Sphere@Ror... ~ Energy Ball + Shadow Ball @ Obelisk (if it Protects/Flies, wait until the next action when it wears off/gets back on the ground)
Percival: Swords Dance ~ Brick Break @ Ror... ~ Night Slash @ Obelisk (Magic Coat any statuses)
Your signature makes me smile every time I see it. Then I forget what I'm doing.
Obelisk - Whilst nobody is paying you any attention, Fly back down and knock that Gallade off the platform, lets see how well he does with nothing to stand on. Giratina can't possibly predict if you're going to Protect until it attacks by when it'll be too late. Then smack it with another Shadow Punch.
Rorschach - A tiny Substitute to absorb the Aura Sphere. Hopefully Gallade will be worrying about how to get back on the platform, so focus on Crunching Giratina twice.
If Gallade doesn't get knocked off the platform, then take the Brick Break then retaliate with Assurance and lastly cough up some Dragon Breath over Percy.

ROUND THREE
Obe dives down from his aerial pedestal and uses its goliath girth to knock Percy down into the cavernous maw. Percival is taken back by his new surroundings as his speed increases to compensate. Topside, meanwhile, Tina's several ghostly arms wrap around the rest of its body as a sphere of fighting energy is summoned then flung wildly at Rorshach. The sphere of energy merely collides with a clone, destroying it upon contact.
GIRATINA : -6PP -- -8HP, *flinch*, +10% Spd : GALLADE // ZWEILOUS : -5HP, -5PP, Sub: 0HP -- -3PP : GOLURK
Tina and Obe exchange glances, waiting for either pokémon to slip up and make their move, but Tina's paralysis keeps the dragon from attacking, and Obe's reliance on the dragon's attack keeps it from following through as well. Percival, meanwhile, spends his time climbing out of the underside of Spear Pillar only to witness Rorsch snap his two heads' fangs into the legendary (albeit frozen) dragon's neck. Percy shudders before coming to his ally's aid and slams his fist into Rorsch, sending the hydra flying.
GIRATINA : *par*, -13HP -- -6PP : GALLADE // ZWEILOUS : -4PP, -11HP -- +10PP : GOLURK
Giratina's paralysis wanes as it shoots off a shadow ball. The wavering sphere connects with Obelisk, who retalliates with a stealthy fist. Rorsch attacks Tina as well with another crunch as Percy lands a powerful slash on Obelisk.
GIRATINA : -4PP, -6HP, -13HP -- -5PP : GALLADE // ZWEILOUS : -4PP -- -3PP, -12HP *crit*: GOLURK

Sorry about the wait, I didn't know you'd posted ^^;
Tina, start with Dragon Tail on Rorschach after he's used Thunderwave, then use Shadow Ball on Obelisk, and finish with an Aura Sphere at Rorschach. If you're about to get knocked out, sub in Destiny Bond.
Perceus, use Magic Coat to deflect the Paralysis, then Hypnosis on Obelisk, and finish with Drain Punch on Rorschach.

ROUND FOUR
Rorsch begins the fourth round, sending a snipping, crackling bolt of weak electricity to Percy. However, the psychic pokémon is quite ready for the attack, and surrounds himself in a body of psychic energy that repels the energy and sends it right back to the dragon easily, paralyzing him instead. Tina, meanwhile, struggles against its own paralysis while Obe strikes the legendary dragon with a swift double-punch.
GIRATINA : *par*, -20HP -- -5PP : GALLADE // ZWEILOUS : -5PP, +25% Par -- -14PP : GOLURK
Obe takes a breather, giving Percy just the opening he needs to put the hulking goliath to sleep. Rorschach tries to come to his ally's aid, but his own muscles lock up. Damn that psychic child! Giratina, meanwhile, flings a wild shadow ball at the towering oaf, dealing great damage. Obelisk, however, remains asleep.
GIRATINA : -5PP -- -3PP : GALLADE // ZWEILOUS : *par* -- +10PP, Asleep, -12HP : GOLURK
Tina is once more constricted by the aching paralysis, giving Rorsch quite an opening. The hydra flings yet another shadow ball that crashes into the legendary dragon's hide, knocking out the legendary dragon quite anti-climatically. Percival, out of vengence, takes aim at his opponent and slams his fist forward, draining valuable life from him. Obelisk, meanwhile, continues to sleep.
GIRATINA : *par*, -13HP *KOed* -- -4PP, +5HP : GALLADE // ZWEILOUS : -4PP, -11HP -- +10PP : GOLURK

Nuu, Tina! Umm, I'll send out Shinsaux the male Absol with super luck and a custom sprite that I can't seem to find. I'll get it later.
Shinsaux, Both of these are weak to ice. Blizzard away! If they find some way to bypass Blizzard switch to Megahorn on Rors. If Rors is no longer around, let's go for Shadow Ball at Obe.
Percy, you've done well. Let's take out Rors with a Close Combat, followed with a strong hit on Obe with Grass Knot, and finish with Swords Dance. If Obe flies on the turn you're about to grass knot him, Swords Dance first and Grass Knot when he lands.
Just bumping, RL, do you still want to continue this?
