This Volcanic Island
This previously hidden area can now be seen from the shore. A massive pool of magma lies deep in its center, but one can walk down quite a ways and find a variety of Fire Types enjoying the heated tunnels. Some hardier Flying Pokemon line the edges of the Volcano as well. A tall Pagoda stands on the Island as well, the only man-made structure here. If you fish from shore, Water Pokemon encounter rates are the same as for Tranquil Shores.
You begin traveling along the rim of the volcano (I believe it should be called the Base, not the rim, as a Rim is normally at the top. But I digress.).
After about 100 yards, you notice a series of foot prints in the sand...
From here, you can also see the pristine sands of the beach. A Kingler and an Oshawott are engaged in a tug of war over a shell.

A) Continue following the trail?
B) Head down and investigate the fight?
C) Head back the way you came?
