Heracross does make some sense... I'll consider it.
why dont you just list the "yes's"?
also, Typhlosion?
Heracross does make some sense... I'll consider it.
@ Papabopp - I think Typhlosion is the right build to get Meteor Mash, even if the arms are a little stubby, they're not overly stubby.
All of them (Thanks Bulbapedia ^_^):

And that's the lot x.x - Opinions are nice ^-^Code:Venusaur: It's got plenty of bulk and strong arms, but I'm a bit worried about using the legs. Other ones do so though (Metagross), so probably a yes. Charmeleon: Slightly thin arm, although it's well defined and the claw is clear. Probably a yes. Wartortle: Stubby Arms but a well defined fist, I think that it's too slow to be able to use the stubby arms. Likely a no. Beedrill: The stingers might be sharp, but I worry that they're gonna be hard to use when flat. Likely a yes though. Parasect: Similar to Beedrill, they look sharp but not certain on blunt force impact. Likely a no, much to my sadface. Mankey: Quite powerful fist, but weak looking arm. I'm gonna say it's probably gonna be a no. Poliwhirl: Fast with reasonably bulky arms and fist, albeit a bit short. Seems capable of performing the Punch, I'm 90% sure I'd give it a yes later. Alakazam: It can learn the elemental punches, and I get the feeling that Meteor Mash would fit in. However, I think the weak limbs won't work, so 50:50 on this one. Machop: Reasonable bulk and arm length, very suitable shape, perhaps a bit weak? I'd be happy either way, preferring a yes here. Graveler: The arms are a reasonable length and Graveler's a pretty strong mon. I'd say yes, although the low speed isn't ideal. Slowbro: Stubby arms and a slow speed do not help here, but Slowbro is able to punch things nicely with a spin of that tail. My money's on no though. Muk: The arms seem good and Muk is physically bulky, but the lack of muscles in it will be problematic (A soft slap of a meteor mash), and speed is low. I'd give this 50:50 chances, preferring a Yes vote. Hypno: A relatively lacking in bulk pokémon, Hypno does have natural fists, and with the Pendant I don't think swinging that as a Meteor Mash is impossible. I'm predicting a no vote here though. Hitmonlee: It's the Kicking Tyrogue evo, and although it must have good punches, I think that it would train too hard on tis legs, preventing a really strong Meteor Mash. Possible yes, most likely No. Rhydon: Naturally strong with Punches and a good pose, Rhydon is only disadvantaged by the low speed. I'm seriously expecting a yes here. Mr.Mime: Huge hands but weak looking arms, and not a huge physical prowess. I think this will get rejected, but it is viable. Scyther: The claw is strong and Scyther is fast, but I think it lacks the bulk to perform a Meteor Mash, particularly since it relies on a flat fist, not a claw. Likely no. Jynx: The arms are a bit stubby and it doesn't have a movepool which spreads across the physical world, but it could work in theory. Likely no though. Electabuzz/Magmar: Both very powerful, although I think Meteor Mash might be restricted to the fully evolved ones. I hope not though, and I don't think there'll be an issue. Pinsir: The claws are a bit small, as is the muscle, but Pinsir has a lot of very good natural bulk, and is tough as a brick. Snorlax: Slow, but I think it'll get it on its pure size and power. Mewtwo: See Alakazam, large physical repetoire with a limited physical power and bulk. Mew: It gets every TM move, but I'm not sure if tutors would apply. Little weak to be using Meteor Mash, although it would fit. Croconaw: Reasonable Bulk and fists, but I feel it simply lacks the power to use Meteor Mash. Cleffa: Evolves into Clefairy and Clefable, and it's fitting. I feel that it's perhaps not gonna get it though, due to being a baby mon with arms the size of... something. Azumarill: It gets Huge Power, and it has fists which seem Mash-Worthy. I think this is a Yes. Politoed: If Poliwhirl gets it, then yes. If not, no. Simple as. Slowking: See Slowbro Wobbuffet: It's the right shape and bulk, and Wobbuffet desperately NEEDS an actual attack. Granbull: It's a large strong mon, but it seems to be lacking in something, though I can't quite pinpoint it. Most certain yes though. Sneasel: Large Fist, Powerful and fast, lacking any bulk. Probably a No because of that one factor on sneasel. Miltank: Same as Granbull - Perhaps it's uninspired as a pokémon? Most likely a yes anyway. Vigoroth: Seems perfectly fine, but perhaps it is a bit immature. Makuhita: Very bulky mon with high power, but seems a bit small on arm length to be using Meteor Mash - 50:50 chance here. Crawdaunt: Not sure if the Claw would work as a Mash - I think so, but I'm not certain. Kyogre: The arm is the wrong shape imho - It's a fin, not likely to mash things easily tbh. Might change, I think the sheer size of it plays a part here. Torterra: See Venusaur (Sick of repeating self by now xD ) Monferno: See Sneasel Empoleon: The flippers don't look like they have mashing qualities I'm afraid, even if the typing suits. Bibarel: It's actually quite bulky in shape, but I'm not sure if it would be able to mash things 100% of the time, due to low power. Rampardos: Stubby Arm Syndrome, good bulk though. A Likely yes. Vespiquen: Not particularly Powerful, but physically bulky on body (Less so on arms). Likely No. Floatzel: Generic Powerful, Bulky for stubby arms comment here. Lopunny: If the ears can Punch, then yes. Elso, no. Gabite: Another one which might get it, but might be restricted to top evo. Croagunk: See above Carnivine: If leaves are useable as fists, it's possible. If not, no. Snover: See Croagunk Lickilicky: Add this to the endless pile of stubby arms and reasonable bulk/power Dusknoir: It's a ghost, so might not be worthy. However, very large, bulky and powerful. I think yes most likely. Pignite: Another one which might get it, but might be restricted to top evo. Dewott/Samurott: Dewott getting it makes sense, if Dewott gets it both get it. If not, neither gets it. Drillbur: Another one which might get it, but might be restricted to top evo. Timburr: Another one which might get it, but might be restricted to top evo. Scolipede: It looks like it could be fast bulky and powerful, and althought he arms are stubby, there's a lot of them, and the body can extend for reach. Krokorok: Another one which might get it, but might be restricted to top evo. Maractus: Not Sure on power and bulk, but a reasonably sized fist, to say the least. I think yes on this guy. Beheeyem: It's a space mon, and it is somewhat bulky. Lackiong in physical power though. Druddigon: Powerful, but not certain if the fists are big enough, or if it'll be closer to a "Meteor Slap".

Back bitches
Wouldn't it be easier to just make the move available to all Pokemon (or all fully evolved Pokemon) who can learn Focus Punch by TM?
Multiple Pokémon who gain Focus Punch, to me, don't seem suited for the move. And some things which should get meteor mash are denied Focus Punch. That, and I was bored xD

I see an minor issue. By my count, 3/5 of the Gym leaders listed (I did not include Oslo, as he is not on the list yet) are currently Inactive, and therefore, can not be challenged by people (like chaos, who is OH SO CLOSE to getting his E4 ticket).
What shall be done about this?

If I get badges off DL and Oslo, I'll have my 4. Failing that, MM can be called in as well.
If the other ones are inactive, I can take over their gym <<.

YOU'LL DIE!
Quietly tucked away in the club district of some unspecified Norwegian city, Combat Disco has rapidly become the new face of the local nightlife. The establishment primarily consists of one rather massive dance floor with pulsating strobe lights. Numerous tables and chairs are clustered near the walls and a bar replete with all sorts of libations sits in the corner. This dance-battle fusion club is known for its eclectic repertoire of music—here, everything from cozy little acoustic ditties to explosive heavy metal outbursts to old-school video game melodies can be heard nightly. Curiously enough, the music tends to have an impact on the dancers.
Every time a Pokemon on the field faints, the type of music changes and brings about a new effect. Though this music is of adequate volume, rest assured that it will never be so loud as to drown out sound moves used by the battlers. Additionally, even if your Pokemon has the Soundproof ability or is battling with their fingers in their ears or is attempting to destroy our indestructible speakers, it doesn’t matter: no Pokemon can avoid hearing the music no matter what. After all, you can’t stop the beat!
Once the music ends, the accompanying effect will fully and completely come to an end as well. The following is a list of the various genres played at Combat Disco and their attendant effects:
‡ Category O ‡
Top 40: This style of music always plays from the beginning of the match until the first Pokemon faints; it possesses no additional effect
Reggae: This style of music always plays after four Pokemon have reached 0 HP; after the next Pokemon is released but before commands are issued, the Gym Leader and then the challenger will openly declare one move known by the opposing Pokemon for it to “forget” for the duration of this effect
‡ Category A ‡
Easy Listening: Both Pokemon may only use one damage-dealing super effective move per round
Punk: The first Pokemon (ie. top row or lefthand column of the reffing template) receives +4 Att/+4 Def and the second receives +4 SpA/+4 SpD
Emo: Every action there’s a 20% chance a Pokemon will disobey its trainer’s orders and use Fake Tears instead (the Pokemon will manage to use Fake Tears regardless of whatever other status effects are in play, including but not limited to Sleep or Taunt, or even if they can’t actually learn Fake Tears)
Screamo: Both Pokemon come under the effects of Torment until the music ends
Rap: Both Pokemon come under the effects of Taunt until the music ends
Tribal: An irreplaceable weather effect that negates any other existing/future weather effects occurs
‡ Category B ‡
Oldies: Attacks are either increased or decreased in power depending on the Generation of their introduction:
Generation I: +5 HP | Generation II: +3 HP | Generation III: +/- 0 HP | Generation IV: -3 HP | Generation V: -5 HP
Dubstep: Attacks are either decreased or increased in power depending on the Generation of their introduction:
Generation I: -5 HP | Generation II: -3 HP | Generation III: +/- 0 HP | Generation IV: +3 HP | Generation V: +5 HP
Country: Both Pokemon may only use moves with names that are nine characters or less (including spaces and punctuation)
Chiptunes: Both Pokemon can only use moves they or their previous evolution learn by TM/HM
‡ Category C ‡
Heavy Metal: Both Pokemon have their ability changed to Heavy Metal
Rock: Both Pokemon have their type changed to Rock
Polka: Both Pokemon have their ability changed randomly at the end of every round
Folk: Both Pokemon become typeless
‡ Category D ‡
Classical: In addition to their regular movepool, both Pokemon may use any move learnable by Kricketune
The choice of music, determined by therefereeDJ, is not completely random. There is a 40% chance the genre of music played will be selected from Category A, a 30% chance it will be selected from Category B, a 25% chance it will be selected from Category C and a 5% chance it will be selected from Category D. The DJ should bear this in mind while selecting music. As well, the DJ is reminded to inform the battlers what the change in music will be before the change actually takes effect.
Since Combat Disco is a disability-friendly Gym, should either battler send out a Pokemon that requires water in order to fight, a section of the dance floor will retract to reveal a pool large enough to comfortably contain a Wailord. Because the pool is located under the dance floor, patrons are reminded that Digging is not in their best interests. Furthermore, should any weather effects come into play, part of the roof will automatically pull back and open up the club interior to the sky.
Those who successfully defeat Combat Disco's Gym Leader will receive the Glitter Ball Badge as well as the house TM, Teeter Dance, which is currently used by Snore Warrior, La Polla Loca, La Princess, Flower, King Thrashypants and Puff. It may be taught to any single Pokemon with legs that has competed in the Gym challenge.

Reasoning: It's a freakin Any-Pokemon-May-Learn-This-TM from Generation 1, and I already state that in my Requirements for teaching the move that any can learn it. So yes, Requesting approval for this change before I head over to the Approval Tower to confirm it.

Aye, I can live with that.
Random request/suggestion: since all the Gym/E4 posts are peppered throughout this thread, could the OP be edited so it links to each post individually (a la the VS Seeker)? It would make things easier (for Oslo if no one else).
Done!

O.o E4 hasn't been challenged yet. Who's actually available to battle? I haven't finished assembling the Legend dream team yet...but I wanna make sure I can actually attempt this later this summer.

My match with Mike just kicked off. If not DL, then CEB would be your best bet.
Yeah, I need to get trounced. I'm available for a battle if need be :O!

Lol, I believe Darkly's challenge was intended for Darth. That would be rude to steal it out from under him. (The only things I steal are reffings from Grey, and even then it's an accident.)
I wanna challenge dl
Make the topic. I'll show up. >.>...Oh snap I never added my newbie to the team yet![]()

Are any of the other gym leaders active and available to battle? I've already battled Dogfish, but he's not around anyway. Maybe Mew Master if he's not already in a gym battle?
Ayeun just finished her battle with Grey, so she's available for you to challenge!
Okay then, is her gym actually open? I thought she closed it for a while! Either way, if she's up for it then I'll battle her. :3
This is apparently what I get for waiting till later to check up on The Gym Tower >.< I've missed two potentional matches already.

Technically Aye hasn't taken Cynder's challenge, so I'm sure you could still maybe potentially pounce on it.
-Grey
Yep, I'm still open to battle MM!
Oslo would just like to (annoyingly) remark that the name of his badge is the Glitter Ball Badge, not the Glitter Badge.
It sounds super-gay either way, though, so whatever, I'm still satisfied.![]()
Oslo has pointed out that I need to only beat one gym leader (quickly) if I want to be a gym leader, however, the front page is probably out of date, since it marks Oslo as available, which is contradicted by the presence of this thread. With that in mind, are any of you gym leaders up for a match? Failing that, can we try getting a hold of CEB or DF?
