Oh, so beating me four times isn't enough for ya, is it? Well I'm not gonna let it happen again!

Okay, so we'll use this arena, which is the coolest one there ever was...probably.

    The Wobbuffet Shrine
A large plateau sits high on a mountaintop, with two large statues of Wobbuffet stand, giving their salute to the great Japanese comedian they represent. At the end of each round, one of Wobbuffet's moves will take effect on one of the Pokemon and be in effect for the next round only. This effect cannot be averted or prevented.

Counter, Mirror Coat, Destiny Bond and Safeguard remain the same.
Charm: The affected's Attack is reduced by 2
Splash: The affected's first action is replaced by Splash.
Encore: The trainer selects a move that was used in the round just gone. That move will be repeated throughout the next round.
    Struggle: The same as Splash.
Tickle: The affected's Attack and Defense are lowered by 1.
Mimic: A move used by the opponent in the previous round must be used in the next round, in any action.
Salute: The next action is replaced by the affected saluting one of the Wobbuffet statues. The saluter has +1 in all stats.
Renounce: Same as Salute, but reversed. The affected turns bitterly away from the statues and all stats are reduced by 1.

As you can see, I have improved upon my design. I will be sending out Kazebouzu, my male Shuppet with Insomnia. You, MeLo, may attack first.

    LET'S BLOW SOME SH*T UP!

Quick question though -- how, exactly, are Destiny Bond, Counter, and Mirror Coat s'posed to work in this fight? Would they randomly take over one of the battlers' moves?

They just take effect at the end of the round for use in the next round as if they had been used. Use my match against Oslo for basis.

    THE WOBBUFFET SHRINE
    ROSSYMORE v. MELOVEGHOSTS
    6-on-6

    ARENA

    The Wobbuffet Shrine

A large plateau sits high on a mountaintop, with two large statues of Wobbuffet stand, giving their salute to the great Japanese comedian they represent. At the end of each round, one of Wobbuffet's moves will take effect on one of the Pokemon and be in effect for the next round only. This effect cannot be averted or prevented.

    Round ONE
We enter the great Shrine of Wobbuffet -- a plateau dedicated to the great wall of a pokemon, and the obscure foreign comedian he's based on. Two large statues of the pokemon in question stand tall on each side of the arena, and recently-returned veteran Rossymore, who's obsession with this particular pokemon has caused many a professional to narrow their brows in discomfort, has decided to challenge one of the three heads of the entire league -- MeLoVeGhOsTs, a man with an odd love of alt-caps.

Rossy chooses his first pokemon -- what appears to be a tiny ball covered in a purple blanket: a shuppet named Kazebouzu. Ghosts follows up with a type advantage, the off-colored Loki Black. The handsome referee blows his whistle, and the battle officially begins!

Loki begins the match by swiftly slashing at his foe and snarling immediately after; the effect of the attack leaves Kaze slightly uncomfortable as his elemental prowess drops slightly. However, the ghost remains eager to be approved by his master, and burns the ice weasel with a weak orb of fire.

    Loki : -4PP, +3% Brn, -1 Atk // -5PP, -8HP, -1 SpA : Kaze

Loki is already starting to hate this spectre, and decides to cloak the arena in a chilling ice storm in retalliation. The unsleepable ghost, meanwhile, remains stoic as his own health slowly deteriorates. The blizzard overwhelms the arena for quite a bit, but Kaze continues to not notice it. After a few more moments of meditation, Kaze finally opens his eyes and shoots daggers at Loki Black -- cursing the swift ice pokemon quite well.

    Loki : -9PP, -1HP, Cursed // -25HP, -12HP : Kaze

Loki begins feeling chills as the curse dwells deeper and deeper in his frame, but still he remains poised to take down this ghost. He quickly cloaks himself in the shadows, but Kaze keeps him on lock. The weasel, thinking all is well, strikes the ghost from behind, but said ghost manages to counterattack all the same! Albeit, the attack is pretty weak from Kaze's end.

    Loki : -3PP, -1HP, -6HP, -10HP, -5PP // -4PP, -8HP : Kaze

The Wobbuffet statues then bless the two combatants justly.

    REF NOTES
~Burn victims suffer a 10% drop to their attack rating as well as a loss of 1HP per action; relaxing on an action will result in no HP lost~
~Victims of Curse will suffer a 10HP *and* a 5PP loss at the end of each round until they are fainted~

Ooh, I like what you've done Grey. Instead of just one Pokemon receiving the effects of the statues, both of them receive it! Makes things more interesting, that's for sure.

Well, since I'm encored, I won't be doing much, so Pursuit all the way! Don't let it out of your sight!
Also, MLG, don't forget that the first action for Loki will be to salute the statues.

    Round TWO
Loki begins the second round in a cold sweat, but he keeps the spirit going as he stares at the Wobbuffet statue on his side of the arena and gives it a brief salute. It seems calming to the cunning creature, and the statue blesses him with a 10 percent stat increase across the board! -- nullifying the burn's cut to his attack power. Kaze, meanwhile, is locked into a single move, and decides to go with the only attack he had actually performed last round -- pursuit. The damage is once again minimalized by Loki's type -- and even more minimalized by Loki's bulk.

    Loki :+1 All Stats, -1HP, -2HP // -2PP : Kaze

Loki is eager to counterattack and send this poor excuse for a spectre packing, but amidst the advice of his trainer, he remains stoic as Kaze tackles an unmoving victim. Loki smirks from upon the floor and counters with a swift retallitory strike!

    Loki : -5PP, -1HP, -2HP // -2PP, -15HP : Kaze

The off-colored sneasel strikes again with a dark pulse, setting Kaze ablaze with the dark flame while the ghost can do nothing about it. When the flames finally subside, Kaze weakly tackles Loki once more.

    Loki : -5PP, -1HP, -2HP, -10HP, -5PP // -13HP, -2PP : Kaze

Kaze and Loki's blessings soon fade, only to be replaced with a new set.

    Round THREE
As Loki hobbles around like a foolish fool, Kaze takes this opportunity to shed some light on the shrine. In a breathtaking move, the ghost pokemon summons a shimmering sunlight to envelope the skies. Loki, meanwhile, continues to splash in the non-existant waters around him.

    Loki : -1PP, -1HP // -7PP, Sunny Day activated : Kaze
    SUNNY DAY : 6 actions

Loki's cold sweat continues to pour down as the sunlight beams into his eyes. His focus, however, remains strong as he calls forth a great ball of deathly strength. Before he tosses it, though, Kaze envelopes himself in an aura of a similar energy. The shadow ball connects, exploding upon doing so. Kaze's limp frame fails to falter.

    Loki : -6PP, -1HP // -12HP, -10PP : Kaze
    SUNNY DAY : 6 actions

Feeling very confident (especially since his foe doesn't appear to be doing anything at all), Loki hurls a blade of dark energy at the sock-puppet ghost. The blade slices through Kaze, knocking him out. Loki smirks heavily before feeling a piercing sensation in his chest. BOOM!, his frail body hits the ground and he too is out of the battle.

    Loki : -6PP, -1HP, KOed // -7HP, KOed, -10PP : Kaze

    REF NOTES

    Round FOUR
With both opponents down a pokemon, the match officially enters stage two. Challenger Rossy elects to summon his skunk pokemon, Nosburn, while the Elite 4 member uses Ninke Li, an unproven mandibuzz.

Nosburn begins the round by taunting the vulture, telling her some things in Pokemonese that I'm not comfortable translating. The bird, already frustrated, dives down, braving his odd aroma, and tackles him before retreating to her poke ball, only to be replaced by Melg's third pokemon of the match: Ichimaru Gin, a sableye.

    Nosburn : -2PP, -7HP // Taunted, -5PP, *recalled* : Ninke // *summoned* : Gin
    SUNNY DAY : 4 actions

Gin resumes the battle where Ninke left off, and watches as his opponent painstakingly creates a golem out of thin air. Feeling satisfied with it, Gin swiftly takes the golem and reshapes it in his own likeness, leaving the skuntank quite confused.

    Nosburn : -5PP, -15HP, Snatched // -5PP Sub: 15HP: Gin
    SUNNY DAY : 3 actions

Nosburn decides to begin the attacking phase of his plan, and jabs the golem with his venomous tail, perhaps not realizing that he was, in fact, knocking down his own creation. Gin merely smirks and snaps his fingers, burning the skuntank with a weakened ethereal flame.

    Nosburn : -5PP, 3% Brn, -1 Atk // Sub: 7HP, -5PP : Gin
    SUNNY DAY : 2 actions

    Round FIVE
Ichimaru's feeling confident, but wants some more assertion that his tender frame will take as little damage as possible. He scoops up some dirt and grime from the arena floor and charges toward his opponent strategically. With a swift slapping motion, he throws his dirty palm forward... into an facade!? Nosburn, the real one, sniggers at his cunning.

    Nosburn : +3 Clones, -6PP, -1HP, -1 Clone // -2PP : Gin
    SUNNY DAY : 1 action

Gin is annoyed, but remains calm as to not allow his opponent to gain the upper hand. His fist balls up and ignites into flame before he throws it forward. As it connects with the skuntank, it vanishes in thin air. Curses! Nosburn continues to snigger before firing off his own fiery technique -- a flamethrower. The brittle chain of flames sweeps across the arena floor, and the sun in the sky only makes it stronger! It roasts Gin's feint, crumbling it to the ground. Seems like a waste of a spell, almost. The sun finally fades away beneath the clouds.

    Nosburn : -7PP, -1HP,-1 Clone // -5PP Sub: 0HP : Gin

With Gin's stolen substitute destroyed, Nosburn is free to poison the ghost pokemon with a vicious collection of toxicity. Nos spits it into Gin's torso, and it immediately begins burrowing deeper and deeper. Gin, not too pleased with this scenario, charges at one of the two skunks and sweeps the legs! And he's actually surprised to learn that he hits correctly, knocking the skuntank down and forcing him to lose his concentration on the other clone!

    Nosburn : -5PP, -1HP, -6HP, -1 Spd // +3% Tox, -5PP, -1HP : Gin

    Round SIX
Before the round can begin, Gin loses his composure as an unsettling wind brushes against his frame -- lowering his attack power and his defenses to a disappointing level. On the other side of the spectrum, however, Nosburn salutes the Wobbuffet Shrine and receives their blessings. Gin, not quite pleased with the outcome, stares at Nosburn -- giving the skuntank quite a bit to think about.

Despite the shrine getting the better of him, Gin remains calm and collected over his absent-minded adversary. He points his left hand forward and shines a light out of it like a flashlight. The bug energy emenating from the light shines upon Nosburn, giving the skuntank quite an uneasy feeling. Nos shakes it off, however, and retalliates with a black slash across Gin's face.

    Nosburn : -6HP, -3PP, -1HP // -5PP, -1HP, -8HP : Gin

Gin nurses the wound on his face for a few seconds before shining another light upon Nosburn. This time, however, the confusion deepens and Nos is overwhelmed, leaving him unable to counterattack.

    Nosburn : -6HP, *con* // -5PP, -2HP : Gin

    THE WOBBUFFET SHRINE
    ROSSYMORE v. MELOVEGHOSTS
    6-on-6

    ARENA

    The Wobbuffet Shrine

A large plateau sits high on a mountaintop, with two large statues of Wobbuffet stand, giving their salute to the great Japanese comedian they represent. At the end of each round, one of Wobbuffet's moves will take effect on one of the Pokemon and be in effect for the next round only. This effect cannot be averted or prevented.

    Round SEVEN
While Gin flounders about like a foolish fool, Nos takes this opportunity to sharpen his claws and fangs for a bit, making him a little more intimidating.

    Nosburn : +1 Atk, +1 Acc, -5PP, -1HP // -1PP, -2HP : Gin

Nosburn readies himself for a powerful night slash, but as Ichimaru Gin approaches with a devilish look in his eyes, he is forced to leap away, dodging Gin's mighty punch! Nos retalliates with a slash, cutting into the ghost's ethereal form.

    Nosburn : -3PP, -1HP // -5PP, -2HP, -9HP : Gin

Gin, very furious at this juncture, throws his body into Nosburn with the dreaded poisons being his fuel. The ghost collides with the skunk, dealing some heavy damage right before getting slashed by said skunk.

    Nosburn : -14HP, -3PP, -1HP // -5PP, -3HP, -9HP : Gin

Hmm, alright, Renounce the statues, which just won't end well. Then Venoshock x2. If you're Tormented, use Crunch for the last action.

While he's renouncing, hit him with another Dynamicpunch! Then Dig underground, wait for him to fire attack or be confused and then hit it!

    Round EIGHT
Nosburn stares at the Wobbuffett statues and disgraces them so; all the while Gin takes advantage of the free hit and pounds the skuntank with a powerful dynamicpunch, throwing him into an even bigger fit of confusion.

    Nosburn : -1 All Stats, -11HP, +25% Con, -1HP // -8PP, -3HP : Gin

Gin proceeds to dig underground while Nosburn ponders about snowflakes...

    Nosburn : *con*// -2PP, Underground, -3HP : Gin

Feeling a little bored at this point, Gin finally un-undergrounds himself, tackling the skuntank from below quite painfully. Nos is finally knocked out of his mind death, and retalliates with a powerful venom that is sharpened by the poisons already inside Gin's frame.

    Nosburn : -13HP, -4PP, -1HP // -3PP, -4HP, -12HP : Gin

    Round NINE
Gin, this time, stares at the Wobbufett duo and is disgraced by them as Nosburn feels a compulsive urge to struggle and tackle the hardened ghost for... no damage, since he's a ghost...

    Nosburn : -1HP // -4HP, -1 All Stats : Gin

Gin snaps out of it and uses his poison as a energizer one last time, throwing his body into Nosburn for enough damage to fell the mighty skuntank.

    Nosburn : -11HP // -5PP, -4HP : Gin

    Round TEN
Gin attempts to stare down this wicked foe of his, but it's crazy fast! The yanmega appropriately named Megayanma speeds through the arena, chirping around Gin well enough to drive the ghostly doll to Crazy Town; nevertheless, Gin manages to keep his eyes focused on the large dragon fly long enough to smack him with a powerful rock attack!

    Megayanma : -5PP, -14HP // -5HP, -5PP, -9HP: Gin

Megayanma shrugs off the attack and retalliates by latching onto Ichimaru Gin with his mandibles and flashing a bright light from his eyes. Gin feels a burning sensation come over him, but fights back with one of his own -- from his right hand he strikes the yanmega with a weak (but effective) flame orb that burns the massive insect.

    Megayanma : -5PP, +3% Brn, -1 Atk // -5PP, -5HP, -7HP : Gin

Megayanma begins to feel the sting as the burn starts becoming apparent, but he remains strong and continues to shoot around the arena rapidly. The sounds he makes causes enough irritation that, when paired with Gin's poison, overwhelm the ghost pokemon -- forcing him out of the battle.

    Megayanma : -5PP, -1HP // -6HP : Gin
