Umm... It has a little envelope with a response card. Do I have to mail it in, or can I confirm here? Because at the rate the mail services are working, I'm not sure my response will make it there before the 20th. I am attending, and I'll take vegan over chicken (I'm a vegetarian).

Slumber party sounds good. Spending 4 sleepless nights in a row and then going back to work... not so much. But I don't even know where I'll be on Saturday night, I think I'll have to improvise once I get there, since I can't tell in advance when my transportation will arrive. Unless we meet before Asi gets there? Too many unknown variables.

It's the dinner after the wedding rehearsal. Traditionally, those taking part in the ceremony and out-of-town guests are invited to it.

I... don't know, unfortunately. The last rehearsal dinner I went to was my sister's in '09. All I can say is that I definitely wasn't wearing a dress, but I guess that doesn't help much.

And meeting a whole load of people. And hating my job. And thinking it would be better to visit Sie in May and not June. And the fact I already have enough money to fly to Canada. And loving weddings. And there not being an Atlantic Ocean in the way.

Gabi, you can stay with me Saturday night if you'd like! I have an individual suite from Thursday through Sunday, and looking at checking out at an extended time on Sunday. I'll bring my DS too! Also, we've got you down for a vegan meal.

And don't worry, we WANT people to eat at the rehearsal. You can dress however you'd like. Everyone who is invited to the wedding is also invited to the rehearsal-- we didn't want to leave anyone out. I just talked with Brian's mom on the phone today and we should have a place figured out soon. All the places we're looking at have options for both meat-eaters and veggie-lovers.

Chobi and Magmar, as long as you can give us a final answer by April 19th or 20th, that'd be great. We have to let our caterer know how many people, make the seating charts and note who gets what food option, and pay for the meals in advance, so that would be great if you can let us know by then. Please don't feel rushed or if you have to come- if you can, we would absolutely love to have you- and if not, well, we still love you.

Yeah....I can't change the name anymore, you're the only one who can check in And I would get there sooner if I could but I get off work at 8am and its a 10 hr drive >.< The airport has a shuttle that can take you to the hotel since the hotel we got is close to the airport :3

So, I had a dream about the TPM wedding last night, sort of.

Actually, my mind must have mixed up that with the trip my family is talking about taking this summer to Florida. So it ended up being about meeting up with several TPMers in Disney World. Yeah, I can have some pretty awesome dreams sometimes.

Anyway, wow, it's almost a month away!

I've put in my vacation request for May 18 - 21, and we're getting the RSVP taken care of now. Celine and I will have plenty of time to run around Indianapolis and shop for things we don't need entertain ourselves!

Oh, and attend the wedding and meet you all, of course!

I feel it's probably time I posted here to let the rest of you know that unfortunately Cadmus and I are no longer attending the wedding.

We informed Brian and Becky of this about a month ago. It's a combination of factors - my boyfriend needing to apply for a special visa to travel, my boyfriend being ineligble for travel insurance since he's not an Australian citizen, and the kicker - it costs a hell of a lot to travel internationally and pay for hotels, transport, food, etc. - and not only do we not have money, but we're in debt and kind of just breaking even.

I'm really gutted that I won't be there for Brian and Becky's big day, which would have absolutely awesome to be a part of, and of course sad that I won't be meeting the rest of you lot, which I was also looking forward to.

Hopefully something will happen in future again and by that time I will be rich enough to join in.

I'm about to head off to work. After my 8-hour shift ends (with the possibility of me getting let off early because it's been a slow week), I'm going to make any final preparations and head over to Manassas. It's almost here!

Oh, by the way, I also have a 3DS and Pokémon White, which I'll be bringing too. Along with a few DS and 3DS games and even my DSi.

We're a couple hours away from hitting the road. Definitely bringing Pokemon games, but we've no 3DS'es to boast (and my progression on White could charitably be described as "lax"). Bringing the Xbox, though... she's keen on playing Skylanders, and we want to work through the plot for Assassin's Creed 2. Also possibly the 2 LEGO Star Wars games.

Planning on getting some writing done while on this mini-vacation. We'll see where that goes. This is getting exciting!

Arrived in Indianapolis about half an hour ago, settled into our motel room. Not sure what to do with ourselves, to be honest! She suggested taking a nap, though, which I agree with... I've been under the weather recently and could use a little R&R. Napping might be a toughie, though, 'cause we're still jazzed up about the trip, and don't want to miss any opportunities.

I'm at the hotel with Brandy and Jeff!!!! And last night I got to attend the dinner with Brian and Becky, and also Matt and Celine, and it was great! Except for the part when I ate way too much and then I was sick at night. I'll remember not to do that today.

And as a bonus, I also met my friends from the Clockwork Mansion forums, and I have a TrackPhone and my own 3DS! (The TrackPhone won't let me add minutes because their system was made by idiots who can't conceive the possibility of someone not having a USA billing address, but it will come in handy nonetheless, I can receive calls and make a few before the initial minutes run out).

I'm having a great time here. Thanks to Brian and Becky for inviting me!!

Oh, by the way, when Brian and I saw each other face to face for the same time, we both stood there frozen with our mouths open for a few seconds until I shouted "Hi!" and he greeted me back and we hugged.

We had fun at the dinner last night! Gabi, I hope you're not feeling TOO bleh after that food. (There was a lot more per platter than I think a lot of us expected, but it was oh so good.) Definitely enjoyed chatting with you! When we walked into the room, Becky saw us and immediately beckoned us towards you and Brian, as I'm sure she meant for us all to meet ASAP. When I saw who Brian was talking to, I turned to Celine and said excitedly, "It's Gabi!" Followed by a "Hi!" and a hug.

By the way, I'm pretty sure you can purchase TrackPhone minutes on pseudo-credit cards, at most convenience stores and drug stores around here, so that all you have to do is dial in the code to redeem the minutes. Check it out, if you can.

We're in the midst of planning out our food schedule. Since the reception dinner isn't happening until a little later this evening, we want to make sure to get our other 2 square meals in at appropriate times... so it's Waffle House now, and Cici's Pizza later (neither of which is available where I live). We're trying to work around the church rush.

Looking forward to the wedding ceremony! Celine's already got pics of me in the suit I'm wearing... the look on her face when she saw me in it suggested it's what I ought to wear when we get married. I'm ready to meet people! We're also very grateful for the invitations... we're having a blast!
