...unless you're in the UK, then the series won't be available until Autumn, unless you can find it online, which I have and it is awesome.

Not for me. I'm lead to the nick.co.uk website, which has yet to even MENTION Korra. Damn you Nick!
It does say on their Twitter that Korra would be coming in Autumn.

I gotta say, this series is better, yet not as good as the Aang series. I do love the story behind it and the fact that the avatar starts out the story with 3 elements in her arsenal, but I also feel it did have sort of a rough start (just my opinion).

It's pretty entertaining, though, to hear/watch the ultra-fans of the original series cry out their blasphemous comments of how the original series was SOO much better.
It mostly was better, though. Still, there have only been, what, 3 or 4 episodes? I'll be able to form a much better opinion as the show progresses.

    Better than what?

And how are those comments blasphemous? It's not like the creators are Gods.

Anyway, I enjoyed the old series and I'm enjoying the new one too. So far the old characters have grown into me more than the new ones have, but the series is only 4 episodes in, we must give it time. I like the nods to the old series, the general setting and how the world has changed.

I know, I'm enjoying the new series, too, but so far I've heard 3 people reject the new series altogether (one of them being my brother, btw),
and then they went on to say how the first series was ten times better without watching the new one.

And when I say "blasphemous comments," I'm just saying fancy words to make myself feel smart :3

While I have not seen any of Korra yet (will wait till I can watch them all back to back), I am a bit disappointed. I would really have liked to have MORE Aang and gang. I would love to have seen them grow up, live, love, marry, ect... I don't want to wait for flashbacks to find out who Sakka married... Or who Toph hooked up with... Or if Zuko found his mother... Or if Azula ever got over being insane...

Read the Promise and hear the Kataang call each other 'sweetie'.
    Srsly.

I like this series a lot, the Time Skip is purposeful to make people wonder what happened in the years between Aang and Korra. I'm still a little dubious on the setting and hopefully the rest of the world will be explored somewhat, though, then again, Republic City is a big place.

And LV, I'm not downloading it illegally, I'm just watching it online...because Nick sucks and won't show it 'til Autumn, which is AGES away.

OMG, Korra is AWESOME. I mean, I watched the first series whenever it was on TV, but I've actually been keeping up with Korra! Every sunday I just die and have to watch it on the internet, it's a shame it's not out officially in the UK yet :c To answer Lady Vulpix, it's actually pretty easy to find and watch online, just type 'watch legend of Korra episode - online' into Google, and I've never had any trouble with it so far.

Well I watch it on animeflavor.com. It's pretty good quality, so long as I'm not rendering a video. I can watch it each Saturday.

you know, I just saw the recent episode, and I have to say something.
I saw Mako, Korra, and Bolin in a group huddle. And you might be wondering "why is this so important?" "Why should I care?" "why are you asking all these questions for us?"
Well, I noticed something when they were in that group huddle. Korra's eyes are blue, Bolin's eyes are green, and Mako's eyes are red.
Now you may be wondering why I think this is important/interesting?
Each of their eye colors correspond to their respective elemental bending abilities.
I figured this was pretty cool, so, naturally, I had to research a bit.
I looked up Katara on the avatar wiki - Blue eyes
    I looked up Zuko - Red/Orange eyes
Aang/other airbenders seemed to be the only ones caught out of the loop, as Aang has brown eyes and Tenzin has blue eyes (although Katara, a waterbender, was Tenzin's mom, so genetics may have something to do with it as well).
I decided to look up Toph, too - yes, she has grey eyes because she's blind, but it may also be a clue-in to her metal bending (or not, but whatever :l )
I kind of figured it was interesting, so I had to share it :3

Indeed, it's a nice touch. But what about non-benders? Does their eye colour represent the nation they live in? Would that no longer apply in this series?

Well, watched the recent episode. Just some nice clean fun after the previous two. The next episode will finish up the Tourney arc and just be nice and relaxing...OR WILL IT?

    ...I'm not sure.

I'd been paying attention to that too, but I think it's genetics. Not all people from the same nation have the same eye color, but some colors are very common in certain lands (which makes sense if they have little contact with the outside world), like blue among the Water Tribes and Green in the parts of the Earth Kingdom where the Fire Nation has not made colonies.

Iroh's eyes are browner than Aang's (and darker than Zuko's). Aang's are more grey than brown. The Earth bender who attacked Zuko in The Promise had dark brown eyes, just like her Fire-bending father and her Earth-bending mother. Some of the Kyoshi Warriors have green eyes while others have brown eyes.

And Toph's eyes are a faded green.
