Asa, finally standing after that collision, seems to discuss strategy with itself. Both heads are nodding in agreement, and they both surge after Aiyana. But she has her own plan and ignites as soon as bot heads come in for their subsequent pecking order. The heat tags both of Asa's heads, and the bird backs away momentarily. This serves to piss Asa off even more and she goes back to pecking mercilessly at Aiyana. (-1)

With the heat turned up so much, Asa tries to fight at a higher speed. He runs around Aiyana and begins nipping at her at random intervals. The furious pace at which he's performing this attack is aggravating to Yana.

Yana waits til Asa's left head comes in for a peck to her form before lunging. The bird is taken by surprise and ends up having its neck caught by Yana, who bites down with incredible pressure and heat. The other head warbles, and focuses all its attention on Yana. (-1)

As Yana still holds on to that left head, the right head commences with a Drill Peck right on Yana's nose. A few reps of that and Yana succumbs, overwhelmed by the pain she just endured by being drilled on her nose. (-1)

The hound of the night seemed to be on her last legs, but she wasn't falling over in defeat. No, she sprung into action and tried to gain traction. Her body rippled, but the thrashing bird that stormed her way proved to be a danger to her health. Her clones did not know what to do against this erratic onslaught, and fell prey to its whims.(-1)

Knowing her time was far too short, Yana blasted a Heat Wave that smothered the arena in a strong scent of cooked Dodue. Asa squabbled with itself for a moment, as its thrashing continued! This time, Yana was not so lucky, and was knocked to the wayside by the relentless bird.(-1)

Proud of his triumph, Asa runs around like a chicken with two heads. It's a short lived victory as Wolfy whips out Pokeball number 3 herself and tosses it into the ring. It opens with a flash, and to Mikachu's surprise, its a Lapras! A Lapras that Asa immediately runs right toward and tries to start kicking and scratching.

A Lapras that stares from behind its barrier, already plotting its next move (-1)

Asa: -7E ~~~ Ar: -8E

Not willing to fall without a fight, Asa switches tactics from feet to beaks. He flails about, this time colliding with the hard carapace on Ariel's back. She cranes her neck, and breath some real arctic air on his body. Asa hops up and runs away pretty darn fast from that-too cold for him.(-1)

Shaking off that chill, Asa dashes back in and tries for a sharp drilling manuvear. It once again attacks that shell, trying to reach the softer parts of Ariel. She doesn't freak out too bad-instead she retaliates with a pulse of Water that knocks him down, and leaves one head glaring at the other. Oh, that's never good. (-1)

Asa is really holding out. Against his Gen 1 counterpart, it seems to be a futile battle, but he thrashes around like there's no tomorrow! Ariel is put off by the flapping bird and shrinks back a bit. The focus of her energies seemed to be toward something we can't see yet.(-1)

The burn on Asa seemed to be the end all for it. But he seemed hell bent on thrashing about as hard as he could. Enough to tick Ariel off. She lowered her head and fired off a single shard of ice, that slammed into Asa's knees. The bird flew back a foot and slammed both heads on the ground.

Ariel gracefully pushes herself forward, creating an icy luge for her to manuvear about on. As she slides past Mika, he releases his next contender. Its a squat fellow, with a wide mouth and an insatiable lust for battle.

Appetite chomps twice, and happily holds his squat arms forward, just as a splash of light floats down onto the shield. It twinkles there, but Appetite watches it warily until it fades away. Ariel curses under her breath, damn Gible was smart...

But Ariel would not be deterred. No siree. She began to slide around and sing to her hearts content. As she did so, water began to accumulate above their heads in the shape of clouds. Clouds that would soon let their essence fall upon Appetite. He seemed a bit agitated by all this water, and went for a strong strike instead. He careened right into the exact spot the Lapras was sliding toward, knocking off her off her little trackway.

Rain: 7 act.

Well, that hit was enough to make Ariel turn on her assailant and fire off a bevy of pulses. Appetite tried to strike through the rings, but wound up flying high and to the right. Poor Gible. After all that work, he still got confused!

Appetite seemed all over the place now. Ariel was delighted to have a reprieve form any assault, as Appetite flat out refused to fight. This did make things a little rough when a Ice Beam struck Appetite in the back and laid his little ignorant butt out.

Ariel laughed at her opponents misfortune

Well, the rain swell continues, and Ariel can slide around on the slick ground without the need for an ice luge. It also gives her more than enough water for her next attack. One that found itself under fire as Appetite was quick to refocus. The ground shifted and tilted and shattered, tossing Ariel down a uneven fault split and causing alot of pain to the aquatically built Pokemon.

She recovered gracefully enough and tried a Hydro Pump from the ground up. It was a rousing success, sending Appetite packing.

The good thing about being in the air-you have a great view of the field. Appetite quickly surveyed the layout of the land before angling its descent toward the Lapras.

Its too bad that Appetite flew into a Blizzard. The blinding cold gave the beast much to worry about, and by the time he hit the intended point of impact, his body was caked with ice crystals.

In other words, he's frozen solid!

Appetite really didn't like the chilly battler he was facing. With all the fuel in his body, he mustered up a fiery assault. It began to steam in his little icy world until it finally broke through and streamed at the unsuspecting Ariel! Ariel however slid out of the way, apparently following the music in her head.

Free from that, Appetite scrambled over, mouth shut. That was a bit odd. Wonder why his mouth is closed. Anyway. Ariel now all souped up from her one Pokemon dance, fires off a second Ice Beam. Appetite however, gets in real close, so the beam's force is augmented by a fin check to the lower chin!

Ariel whirled around from the strike, only to see...that Appetite was gone. What an Outrage >O!

She began to well up a massive amount of energy, but that only rose when her belly felt the ground shift under her, and a set of fangs bit down on her precious bellyparts! She lurched backwards and dropped a bomb of a snowbank on Appetite. He barely had time to "EeeeeE" before be was buried.

Ariel released a warble in harmonic fashion; fitting for a Lapras. As she snag to commensurate her victory, Mikachu releases his final Pokemon. A fluffy sheep enters the fray, and the singing abruptly stops.

Mainly because electricity and water really don't mix when you're a living representative. Puskuri fires off the volatile energy, watching it circle in the sky as it cascades down toward her. Ariel tries to see into the Future, and manages a small glimpse. But her vision is shut off by the bolts' outrageous power.

With Ariel down, Wolfsong is forced to switch for the third time!

Ziva strides onto the field, hands to her sides. Mareep never seemed threathening, and she kept on her guard. Good thing, because Pus split into 6 clones, surrounding the jackal. Kneeling down, the Lucario wiped the ground in front of it, before flicking it up. Energy shot from all directions, ripping the clones up and sending them packing.

Pus: -4E/-6H ~~~ Zi: -4E

Pus sighs, and tries something different, he shuffles in place, forcing his wool to expand. Unsure why he needs to fluffl, Ziva lobs a average size Aura Sphere right in the midst of the wool. There was no explosion, just the sheep falling over.


Pus: -4E/-9H +2 Def~~ Zi: -6E

Pus feels protected enough, and tries for a full body strike. As it calls for a Thunderous end to this round, the ground lurches up first. Pus baas in disgust, before being slammed by the Earthquake. But the heaving land also raised Ziva up-right in the path of the cresting electricity.

Realizing that woolly whippersnapper over there will cause her great agony if she gets closer, Ziva hops back and charges up from afar. This makes Pus...you know I'm not gonna call her pus anymore, that's just ew. Let's go with Kuri. Yes. Kuri ambles a smidgeon closer and fires off a Thunderbolt.

The ragged shock alights Ziva's frame, but she keeps her focus and counters with a massive...omfg. I just had an awesome idea for a battle! Holy crap I'm posting this up right now.

Actually , its more a series of Combo moves! Still great idea! Thank you Ziva. Oh yeah and by the way, the attack only manages to half hit Pus, as the sheeps' wool made pus looks bigger than it actually is.

Pus: -8E/-7H ~~~ Zi: -9E/-12H

Seemingly unphazed by that strike, Kuri continues on the lightning barrage. Thunder strikes the land all around Ziva as she runs left, charging up a different sphere of energy. This one is a deep shade of purplish blue, and when fired, it makes a marvelous sound that can only be described as an ancient pulse.

This one also hits for full effectiveness, whereas the Thunder misses!

Kuri skids backwards from the Pulse strike, but feels like there' something more at work. Couldn't be more in tune to its surroundings. A brick, of all things, come flying in and smacks Kuri upside the head. This gives Ziva her opening. She commands a Psychic blast to try and end Kuri, but Kuri won't give in. She manages to recover from the sighted attack and block the Psychic barrage that headed her way.

Kuri knows this battle can go south really fast if she doesn't do something, and she decides on intensifying her odds. In a flash, Ziva is no longer in a fair fight. The multitude of sheep baaing at her is a bit ridiculous, and she culls the herd with a flinging of stars! Kuri frowns, displeased with that.

Pus: -3E/-5H ~~~ Zi: -4E

Keeping the intensity of long range attack, Ziva now commands a Psychic pulse to disrupt Kuri's concentration. It does topple the woolly behemoth a bit, but she focuses up.

Pus: -10H *crg* ~~ Zi: -8E

The crackling field emitting from the wooly matrix gives Ziva cause for concern. Nothing good can come from that, and well, she's right. A THICK Thunder rails forth and strikes Ziva flat on her back. The jackal kips back up, and forces her fist into the ground. This causes the ground to upheave and shake all around, tossing the sheep around like a rag doll.
