Round ELEVEN
With Gin gone from the battle, Megayanma contemplates who his next adversary will be. But ultimately let's himself go when he feels a sharp slap to the face, making him completely lose all concentration on the battle at hand! Chris Xeroxx, the Elite 4 member's next pokemon, takes center stage with a wicked grin on his face.

Megayanma : -1 Atk, -1 Def, -5HP, *flinch* // -3PP : Xeroxx

The yanmega shakes it off before retalliating with a swift tackle that sends Xeroxx reeling backwards. The kecleon pulls himself up as the bug energy from Mega's attack transfers over to his body. He stands at the ready to counter his foe's attack, but said foe seems to've replaced himself with a slithery dragonair. Shenanigans! Xeroxx shrugs it off, and starts plotting an unruly plot as his attack prowess strengthens.

Haku wastes no time getting her feet wet, and unleashes a hungry torrent of flames that crawl across the shrine floor. Xeroxx can't escape them, and he begins to feel his body burn up as the bug-based cells crumble, only to be replaced by fiery ones from the flamethrower. Xeroxx hisses as the flames finally die down, and responds with an ancientpower. The stones throughout the arena are kinetically lifted high into the air before dropping suddenly on Haku's frail frame.

Round TWELVE
Xeroxx feels another sweep of fire wrap around his limp frame; however, because of his new typing, the flames just don't do enough damage for him to worry about it -- the Wobbuffett Shrine, however, heard what he said about them, and totally messes up his stats.

Hakuryu : -7PP // -6HP, -1 All Stats : Xeroxx

Feeling compelled, Ryu lets loose with another fire chain, causing little harm to the chameleon. Xeroxx, meanwhile, is tired of all this hot swapping, and connects with the dragon on a spiritual level. Within moments, his scales return to the normal green shade (and typing), while Haku's start to reflect something...

Haku unleashes another flamethrower, and is pleased to know that it's at least dealing normal damage now! However, Xeroxx retalliates with a powerful fury of wind energy that not only wrecks Haku's hide, but manipulates it as well. What's happening!?

Round THIRTEEN
As we enter the most unlucky round of the match, both Haku and Xeroxx are imprisoned by the shrine to do their bidding -- in Haku's case, it means struggling about slapping the awkwardly floppy Xeroxx in the face, taking minute damage herself in the process. In Xeroxx's case, it means flopping around awkwardly without water whilst simultaneously being slapped in the face by Haku. It's a little weird.

Hakuryu : -1PP, -2HP *recoil* // -4HP : Xeroxx

No longer burdened by... whatever the crap that was, Haku decides to crank up her flirtation skills to 11. Xeroxx, meanwhile, is preparing to fight the ice dragon with a nice flamethrower, but immediately stops what he's doing when he sees Haku's eyes -- big and mysterious. He's almost, no, immediately compelled to stop what he's doing and admire her grace. Hakuryu stares at him marvelously, and feigns a blush.

With that oafish kecleon distracted by her beauty, Haku decides to cast a protective barrier around herself to soften the force of special attacks. Xeroxx, meanwhile, wrestles with his loyalty to his trainer and his nervous love for this slender dragonair. Ultimately, he sides with his trainer and unleashes a volley of rocks that stamp down upon Haku. She is a bit hurt (emotionally and physically), but at least her light screen was there to dampen the blow.

Haku turns to the statues and disrespects them greatly -- and they bless her with quite a hindrance as Xeroxx's ancientpower smashes her frail frame. At least the light screen was there to keep her protected...

Xeroxx starts to swoon at his magestic and soon-to-be (if he has his way) bride, now refusing to deal damage to her as she shows off her marvelous agility. Like Sid to his Nancy, Haku's kindness is only a facade as she slams her dragon tail into his torso and he flies back into one of the Wobbuffett statues. Geez!

The kekleon begins to realize Haku's terribleness, and retalliates with another swift ancientpower. The powers that be still fail to bless his strengths, and the light screen continues to dampen the rock's power, but damn it all, that felt good! Haku, meanwhile, is trying like hell to recover lost energy.

Round FIFTEEN
Haku wraps her slender body around Xeroxx quite tightly before shocking him with a weak dish of electricity. The pulses don't cause any quantifiable damage to the kecleon, but his muscles are paralyzed. Xeroxx shrugs it off however, and retalliates with an aqua tail -- giving great pain to the rock dragon before giving her a more aquatic frame.

Haku's light screen finally fades away.

Hakuryu : -5HP, -14HP, Water-typing // -7PP : Xeroxx

Haku fires back with a dragon pulse! The ancient energy crawls across the arena floor before striking at Xeroxx. He doesn't seem to mind the pain, however, and responds by pulling out a whip made of vines and lassoing it around Haku's neck. The slender girl, while very tall, isn't as heavy as Xeroxx thought and she comes down quite easily.

Hakuryu: -5PP, -12HP, Grass-typing // -9HP, -5PP : Xeroxx

Haku locks eyes with her adversary angrily. Did he think she was fat?, I'm sure she'd wonder. Furiously, she whipped out another dragon pulse that shot through the arena floor and struck him to the floor. Now with a throbbing headache, Xeroxx pulled himself back together and retalliated with an enhanced flamethrower!

Dammit, why won't he be paralysed!?, I'm sure she'd also wonder.

Round SIXTEEN
We enter the sweet sixteenth round of this already intense battle, and Xeroxx is nowhere to be found. Haku minds it little, as she feels herself being blessed by the guardians of the shrine. But out of nowhere is Xeroxx!, slapping the fiery serpent with his liquid tail, and bringing Haku to defeat.

Hakuryu : +1 All Stats, -14HP, KOed // -9PP : Xeroxx

With Haku defeated, Xeroxx's ability changes back, and his scales begin to change colors for a few seconds before settling on the nice combination of green, purple, and yellow.

Round SEVENTEEN
The slender, defeated dragon pokemon is recalled in favor of a plump electric mouse: Fat Mascot. Xeroxx eyes his opponent down for a few seconds before ultimately screeching a ridiculously loud screech. The raichu is caught off guard and her defenses shatter as a result. With a smile on her face, she immediately begins clapping her hands, hoping for more of the same!

Mascot : -2 Def, -5PP // Encored, -3PP : Xeroxx

As if he were hypnotized by Mascot's clapping, Xeroxx feels compelled to screech once more. And even though she's heard it all before, Mascot still flinches at the sound. Mascot, meanwhile, attempts to swiftly tackle into her foe, but she can't muster up the ability to even use the move ordered. Frustrated, she instead charges at Xeroxx with a fierce volt tackle. She connects, turning the chameleon into an electric type alongside her!

Mascot : -2 Def, -7PP, -4HP //@Electric, -12HP, -3PP : Xeroxx

Xeroxx finally snaps out of the spell, and remembers what he was ordered to do. Within just a few moments, the kecleon pulls himself together and charges at Fat Mascot furiously, taking advantage of her poor defenses. He tackles her powerfully, knocking her to the ground.

Round EIGHTEEN
Fat Mascot begins the next round by furiously digging at the soft ground below until she finds herself safely underground. While she's doing this, meanwhile, Xeroxx is denouncing the shrine, and feeling its effects therefore.

Xeroxx keeps a watchful eye on the hole in the ground as a trench suddenly makes its way towards his feet. With an idea in his head, Xeroxx attempts to protect himself with a nice shield. However, his paralysis chooses now of all times to act, leaving him completely immobile as Mascot emerges from underground and slaps him with an earthly slap.

Mascot : -2PP //@Ground, -13HP, *par* : Xeroxx

Xeroxx's paralysis wanes a bit, and again he keeps a watchful eye out as Mascot pulls out a long rope of vines. Mascot whips it forward just as Xeroxx punches her to the ground! Victory for his side until he celebrates too much and trips over the rope and falters to the floor, knocking him out.

Round NINETEEN
After having defeated on of his opponents, Mascot decides to make a giant "screw you" gesture to the shrine, resulting in a sudden drop in his stats as Alexander is summoned from his poke ball. The abominable ice pokemon groans before triggering a powerful earthquake that kicks the cocky electric type off his feet.

Mascot : -1 All Stats, -20HP // -8PP : Alexander

Whoops. Mascot learns a lesson in humility and decides to send a prayer to the heavens asking for some help... but ultimately slinks away as Alexander smashes his head in with a seed bomb.

Mascot : -13HP, -5PP // -4PP : Alexander

Alexander summons another terrifying earthquake, but Mascot has been prepared for it. Bracing for impact, Mascot envelopes himself in a golden aura that absorbs the damage somewhat and sends it right back to Alexander two-fold. The grass-type didn't see it coming!

As Alexander scratches his head at the impossibly powerful attack, Mascot's wish comes true, and he feels his weakened defenses neutralize a little. Justice!
