Oslo, if I may, I would like to take part in this battel.
Yuppers, it's time...
Welcome (back) to Osloki Island!
You've found your way to the shore of Osloki Island, an uncharted speck of land somewhere in French Polynesia. (Or wherever the Pokemon equivalent of French Polynesia might be.) In the middle of the beach there sits a diminutive tiki god named Osloki who watches over this island as its protector. Golly, what a wonderful place for a battle!
During the battle, you can hit Osloki with any damage-dealing attack as often as you wish and he will accept this attack as a blessing. Osloki will keep track of his blessings with a damage meter and, when he has been hit for 50 HP, he will come to life. If you were quick enough to offer Osloki the blessing that brought him to 50 HP, he will help you out by placing a curse upon your opponent. This curse might manifest itself in several different ways: damage, a status, decreased stats or something else nasty (or quite likely some sort of mix of the above). The curses are unavoidable.
However, there's another catch: Osloki is a fiercely vain deity. If your team fails to offer Osloki a blessing at least once every ten actions, then his wrath will be upon you. You've been warned. As well, because Osloki is so vain, he refuses to be blessed by any attack used to damage an opposing Pokemon. For example, if you try to Earthquake Osloki and your opponent in one fell swoop, Osloki won't accept the Earthquake as a blessing. No hitting two birds with one stone.
This battle will be a six on six, one at a time, abilities on, 40 HP damage cap, one week DQ, no swapping (even with Baton Pass, U-turn, etc.) and I'm banning non-damaging healing moves. The two opponents will PM me their six Pokemon along with their choice of which one will come out first and those six Pokemon will be locked into battle. I'll list them in the OP so that both trainers can see all twelve Pokemon and from that point on they can be released in any order. Essentially, this just means that you'll be able to see what Pokemon your opponent has in reserve so you can strategize accordingly. Let me know if anything needs to be clarified.
SO.
LET'S DO THIS.
EDIT: Okay, here are the teams!
Mike Mysterio:
Goku (shiny male Infernape with Iron Fist)
Goop (shiny Ditto with Imposter)
Booster (male Bagon with Rock Head)
Yoshi (shiny male Totodile with Torrent)
Kyrsten (female Dratini with Shed Skin)
Bones (female Cubone with Rock Head)
Rossymore:
Petallion (female Roserade with Poison Point)
Eifie (female Espeon with Synchronize)
Sonans (female Wobbuffet with Shadow Tag)
Scuttle (male Krabby with Hyper Cutter)
Hakuryu (female Dragonair with Shed Skin)
Bakphoon (female Typhlosion with Blaze)
Bold denotes the Pokemon currently in use.

Oslo, if I may, I would like to take part in this battel.
What the hell, might as well. Give me a minute or two to figure out who's gonna be part of this.
Whoo!
Send me your teams, gents. I will try to have the first round up by the ninth or tenth.![]()
Eager tourist and spectator here ready to watch from the sidelines. My 'I ♡ Osloki' T-Shirt will drive the natives wild!
And Oslo, try and keep to your own rules this time and don't allow healing moves or switching like you did last time.
!!!
That completely didn't occur to me. D: My bad. Andohmanittotallyaffectedtheoutcomeofthematch.
Is this something you realized after or during the battle? 'Cause if it was during, you're totally within your rights to throw a shoe at me or something and make me revise.
Mike will begin with Goku, his shiny male Infernape with Iron Fist. Rossy will begin with Petallion, his female Roserade with Poison Point.
I flip a coin and... Mike is the first to issue attacks!
Wow, okay, that's a bad matchup. xD
Also, Espeon's nickname if Eifie, not Elfie! :p
I like Elfie better.
Ok, Goku, start off with a Will-O-Wisp, then hit her with a Aerial Ace, last hit her with a Flamethrower.
Aaah, but Eifie is its Japanese name and those are always cool.
Alright, it wants to play status, then hit it with Toxic. Then go for Rain Dance, then go for Weather Ball.

‡ Round 1 ‡
G'day, ladies and gents and none of the above, and welcome to yet another super-exciting skirmish on Osloki Island! As errybody's favourite random tiki thing sits beneath the warm sun, two steely challengers step up to bat with a couple of dedicated Pokemon by their side: Mike with his Super Saiyan Infernape and Rossy with his not-Super Saiyan-but-still-pretty-spiffy Roserade. Welp, now that we've met the preamble quota, let's just begin the part where all the violence happens? Match underway!
Goku begins the battle by doing what he does best... and, guess what, it involves fire. The Infernape thrashes his head around wildly and releases a series of sparks that are caught on the breeze and wafted toward Petallion. They strike the Roserade and leave a rather nasty Burn, but two, it seems, can play that game. Roserade horks up a glob of steaming something from her gut and spits it right in Goku's eyes! It burns! It burns! It... smells kind of like lemon pudding, but it still burns!
Goku: <-4 EP; Txc>
Petallion: <-4 EP; Brn>
Showing off his natural monkey nimbleness, Goku bounds into the air and does a cool spinning flip thing that I'm sure would impress at the Olympics if Aerial Ace were an official event. He comes down hard, lashing out at Petallion with his tail, but the Roserade doesn't even bother fighting back for the time being. Instead, she throws her hands in the air like she just doesn't care (er, not that she has hands) and causes dark clouds to roll in from over the water. Suddenly, cold, fat raindrops begin to pester the field. Goku frowns. Balls.
Goku: <-3 EP>
Petallion: <-9 HP; -4 EP>
Goku promptly learns the awesome power of rain: the Infernape tries to roast Petallion to a crisp with a trail of orange flames but barely manages to get her medium-rare. Hrmph. Petallion winks and employs a strategy to which she is no stranger. Weather Ball time! She flings a glowing blue sphere at Goku and knocks the Infernape onto the ground. Hey! Plants are supposed to be way suckier than that!
Goku: <-20 HP; -8 EP>
Petallion: <-9 HP; -8 EP>
Goku <-3 HP> and Petallion <-3 HP> suffer from their Status effects.

Well the burn means we won't be physical for a while, so in the meantime, Weather Ball ~ Venoshock and then a Weather Ball at Osloki.
Goku, use a Sunny Day, then Dig down to dodge the attack, last Dig up and hit Osloki.

‡ Round 2 ‡
Shenanigans continue as Goku decides he's no fan of singing in the rain. He beats his chest and lets out a primal roar which causes the clouds to dissipate as the sun returns in full force. Petallion attempts another Weather Ball, but this one is orange and crackly instead of blue and wet. She gives it a toss and it bursts against Goku but, eh, so what?
Goku: <-8 HP; -4 EP>
Petallion: <-8 EP>
Petallion prepares to douse Goku in a poisonous bath of poisony goodness, but Goku has other plans. Petallion releases a Venoshock wave just as Goku Digs away out of sight. The attack strikes the ground and is leeched into the sand without causing a speck of damage to anyone. Nuts. Petallion has a strong suspicion this round isn't going to be quite as grand as the last.
Goku: <-3 EP>
Petallion: <-5 EP>
The sand that Goku Dug into begins to turn and shift and form a path as the subterranean Infernape makes his way toward Osloki. Suddenly, he bursts out of the ground and strikes the tiki statue with a sudden Dig attack. Petallion follows suit and hurls another Weather Ball, this time at Osloki as well. The statue glows purple as he accepts both blessings.
Goku: <-3 EP>
Petallion: <-8 EP>
Osloki: <+23 HP>
Goku's Toxin mounts in strength <-5 HP> as Petallion's Burn <-3 HP> flares up.

Start off with a Flamethrower at her, then use a Aerial Ace to hit her, last use another Flametherower to hit her hard.
Subs: if she uses Rain Dance use an Encore, then follow that with a Thunder Punch to Osloki, last an Aerial Ace to Petallion.
Since Goku is much faster, get hit by the Flamethrower, THEN throw up the Rain Dance. If you still get Encored, then it's not a big deal and keep that rain coming, otherwise double Venoshock.

Round 3 gets off to a peppery start as Goku torches his Petallion friend with a well-aimed bout of flames. What with the strength of the ongoing Sunny Day and all, Petallion is beginning to smell like stir-fry (but I'm sure she's not half as tasty). Petallion decides that dance is the best medicine for pain and begins boogeying around like it's her job. Just like that, the sun goes bye-bye and, once again, it's a hard rain's a-gonna fall.
Goku: <-8 EP>
Petallion: <-22 HP; -4 EP>
Encore! Encore! Goku bursts into applause for Petallion's neat little trick, which makes the Roserade blush. Spurred by Goku's raucous clapping, Petallion places a rose in her lips and begins performing a pasodoble. The rain keeps on doing what rain does best.
Goku: <-4 EP>
Petallion: <-4 EP; Encored>
Goku now ignores his opponent and sprints toward the Osloki statue. Raising a sizzling fist, the mighty simian brings it crashing against the statue. Osloki flashes purple as he accepts the blessing. Petallion, meanwhile, spews out a glob of poisonous whatever that splashes all over Goku and induces a bit of pain. Monkey no happy. Monkey yells.
Goku: <-15 HP; -6 EP>
Petallion: <-5 EP>
Osloki: <+8 HP>
Goku's Toxin reaches a new level <-7 HP> as Petallion's Burn <-3 HP> stays consistent.

Weather Ball x3. If you are Tormented, then sub for Venoshock, if Sunny Day comes back, then sub for Solarbeam.

As rain continues to hammer downward, Goku shows that Petallion isn't the only dancer on the field. He procures a couple of glowsticks on the spot and begins rockin' out to some non-existent dubstep beats. (Er, Combat Disco is that-a-way.) As his strength rises, Petallion tosses a sloshy blue Weather Ball Goku's way and it collides hard. Shapow! (Shapow? Is that even an onomatopoeia? Er, moving on.)
Goku: <-20 HP; -4 EP; +2 Att>
Petallion: <-8 EP>
Goku suddenly lives up to his name as he becomes consumed by a blazing white light. Super Saiyan monkey time! He dive-tackles Osloki hard and nearly knocks the widdle munchkin off his platform, but fortunately he stays intact. He shines purple and accepts the blessing but doesn't seem to have maxed out his damage meter quite yet. Meanwhile, Petallion shoots off another Weather Ball and it strikes the Infernape with tremendous strength. Sha... poom? No? Nevermind.
Goku: <-20 HP; -13 EP>
Petallion: <-8 EP>
Osloki: <+17 HP>
Goku is down for the count and begins regaining his lost energy. Petallion, meanwhile, strikes him with another Weather Ball but it only appears to be doing damage. In actuality, not so.
Goku: <-20 HP; Recharging>
Petallion: <-8 EP>
Goku's Toxin increases in strength <-8 HP>, though the monkey doesn't actually lose damage. Curious. On the other hand, Petallion actually does lose a bit more health from her Burn <-3 HP>.

Good job Goku, use a Mach Punch one Osloki, then if you can just use a Flamethrower one Petallion.
Okay Petallion, quick, use a Protect and get inbetween Goku and Osloki and protect it from the Mach Punch. Then use Poison Jab on Osloki on the same action. If that's too much for you, then Poison Jab on Osloki on the second action instead. That should do it for Goku. If he's still alive, smack him with a Weather Ball.

Osloki teeters on the precipice of coming to life and Goku and Petallion work quickly to make sure they don't wind up on the wrong end of the impending curse. Goku begins hightailing it toward Osloki but not before Petallion envelops herself in a lovely little energy bubble. The bubble follows her as she begins sprinting toward the tiki god; however, though Petallion's Protect has priority, her stubby little legs aren't able to get her to Osloki as quickly as Goku. With a flash of purple light, Goku Mach Punches Osloki and delivers the final blessing. As Osloki comes to life, Petallion Poison Jabs the statue because, hey, she might as well. Even though she's still under Protection, Osloki simply can't be stopped: the curse connects and Petallion is whisked away to Sleep while her health dwindles.

Time to shake things up! Having lost his mighty Infernape to that prickly rose bizznatch, Mike has to think carefully about his next selection. He returns the flaming simian and instead summons a squat blue dino dealie. D'aww. Booster then stomps hard on the ground and causes the rain to go away. The sun begins to shine. La.
Booster: <-4 HP; -4 EP>
Petallion: <-4 EP>
Shenanigans continue as Petallion's next Sleep Talk brings about something much more effective. Suddenly, colossal beam of white energy blazes out of her hand-cannons and throws Booster all the way back into the ocean where he lands with a splash. However, Petallion looks fatigued. The dwaggin trudges out of the water grimacing and sinks his flaming fangs into his opponent's shin. It does the trick: before she can even wake, Petallion takes the damage and slumps over. After a brave fight, Petallion is recalled and Rossy must now select his next Pokemon. He decides that one Dragon is only half as fun as a battle with TWO DRAGONS. OMG. As a result, Hakuryu slithers into battle and prepares to cross swords with this mulleted midget. Both battlers exchange Dragon-type moves: Hakuryu rocks her foe with a purplish pulse of energy while Booster waddles forward and slices up Hakuryu's tender belly. Lovely.
Booster: <-16 HP; -6 EP>
Hakuryu: <-14 HP; -7 EP>
Even more Dragony goodness is afoot as Hakuryu follows up her Dragon Pulse with Dragon Pulse: The Sequel. As far as sequels go, it's ho-hum, but it does manage to knock Booster onto his little tush. Yowch. This time, Booster rockets himself forward and collides head-first into his opponent with a reckless tackling attack. Fortunately, his rock-hard mullet negates any blowback. So. The battle is still quite tight as play continues. Making the most of her intimidating presence, Hakuryu glares down at her opponent and breathes a crackling stream of purplish energy all over Booster. (Remember when Clair told us that move has nothing to do with her breath? Hyuck hyuck, the girl really knows how to set up a punchline.) As Booster winces from the heavy dose of damage he just took, Paralysis begins to set in. Grah! How aggravating! He then sets his sights on Osloki and vents his frustrations by spitting out a ferocious dollop of flames. Generally one would not use "dollops" as a means of quantifying things that are ferocious, but I'm just unexpected like that.
Booster: <-11 HP; -10 EP; Par>
Hakuryu: <-4 EP>

Having successfully Paralyzed Booster, Hakuryu snakes forward and dive-tackles the mulleted munchkin. Booster squeals and tumbles backwards from the hit before responding with a Dragon Rush of his own, crashing into Hakuryu's middle. However, Booster ain't done yet. The Bagon commands a dozen heavy rocks to tumble from the clear skies and deliver Hakuryu one heck of a headache.
Booster: <-17 HP; -14 EP>
