‡ Round 8 ‡
Round 8 begins as Phantom says something in some ancient, mysterious tongue... or perhaps pig Latin... I'm not certain. Either way, Ueo seems to have to bear the full force of the ex-hay and winces as his body is wracked with pain. Argh! Make it stop! Make it stop! Ueo is so distraught by the Hex that he can feel the bile rising in his throat... and he spits said bile all over Phantom. With that, the rain begins to feel less refreshing to Phantom all of a sudden. Now it's more annoying than anything.
Phantom: <-3 EP;Rain Dish>
Ueo: <-12 HP; -2 HP fatigue>
Poor Ueo. His muscles/whatever-they're-called-for-Shuckles lock up unexpectedly, leaving him all vulnerable and such as Phantom delivers one final Hex. The Hex drains the last of Ueo's health and knocks him clear out of the battle.
Phantom: <-1 EP; -1 HP fatigue>
Ueo: <-3 HP; Can't move!>
Because of the abridged round, Phantom suffers a minor reaction to his Poison this time <-2 HP>.

Damn...I hate Metronome, but let's see what he'll get
Relax twice to build up some strength and then even out the health between you two.
Relax ~ Relax ~ Pain Split
Considering what i've seen from the metronome battle, all three of those moves from Metronome will be of the Normal type xD
I almost guarantee it
I would just like to remark that the following Metronome-induced rage is not in any way personal and is simply a product of the PTSD I have from reffing this battle.

‡ Round 9 ‡
As the next round begins, Gigya recalls his fallen Shuckle and instead calls out a cherubic little Togepi that chirps brightly upon entering the fray. Having depleted every last whit of energy he had, Phantom takes a break and lounges around. Meanwhile, Dominick gets to work and begins to use... sweet Jesus... no, not this... please...
He uses Metronome... against a Ghost.
@#$%!^&*...
Suddenly, Dominick wiggles his fingers and creates a doppelganger Togepi plushie out of thing air. The plushie Substitute smiles despite being the product of pure, undiluated evil.
WELP, LADIES AND GENTS, WE HAVE OUR FIRST NORMAL-TYPE METRONOMED MOVE OF THE BATTLE.
Phantom: <+6 EP>
Dominick: <-15 HP; -4 EP; Sub: 15 HP>
Phantom continues Relaxing as Dominick does That Which Shall Not Be Named. Suddenly, the little Togepi leaps up and tries to hit Phantom not with a Single Hit but rather with a Double Hit except NEITHERHITDOESANYTHINGBECAUSEIT'SAFRIGGIN'NORMALTY EWJKLEWJAKDDSJKFDSKFDSFSFF...
Phantom: <+6 EP>
Dominick: <-5 EP; Sub: 15 HP>
Now that I've picked myself up off the ground and have stopped twitching, we can resume. Phantom attempts to forge a telepathic link with Dominick and funnel a little bit of the Togepi's health his way, but the link produces only static... cottony, plushie-ish static. Since you can't Pain Split a Substitute, Dominick is free to METRONREJFJIFD some more and this time... MIRACULOUSLY, it's not NORMAL. WELL HOLY FRIGGIN' CRAP. SOMEBODY CALL DATELINE. Anyway, Dominick glows purple as he tackles Phantom with a really hard Dragon Rush and damage is taken and now the round is over and I'm going to go fix myself a strong drink.
Phantom: <-10 HP; -8 EP>
Dominick: <-8 EP; Sub: 15 HP>
Phantom takes damage from Poison because he's just like really good at that or something <-3 HP>. The abilities change around again with Phantom scoring a 56 and Dominick scoring a 19. Phantom appears lovely and adorable (except not really to Dominick, who doesn't swing that way) while Dominick is... Dusty?

*SPLATTERS WITH VAT OF HOT OIL*
That round made me rotflmmfao.
I swear to arceus, if I scroll up to read that round again, I will most likely die of laughter.
Let's not give him a chance to do any other shenanigans Phantom, tell him he's half an egg of a full omlette to rile him up, then relax and take him down fighting

‡ Round 10 ‡
Now that I've pounded back a few strong beverages, we can continue. Phantom peers directly at Dominick and begins spouting off a nasty Taunt, telling the Togepi that he looks like a cross between banana pudding and an aborted fetus. Since GameFreak (somewhat bewilderingly) made it so Taunts can bypass Substitutes, the words hit hard and successfully incite Dominick's wrath. The diapered eggy whips up not one but two Shadow Balls and flings them at his opponent.
Phantom takes both of the hits and then fades away to ether. Looks like he's dead, and not in the way that all Ghosts are dead. I mean really dead.

‡ Round 11 ‡
Perfect Chaos recalls his fallen Shuppet and, with a flash of red, summons a Tyrogue whose name sounds a bit... phlegmy? Anyway, Zaghrem starts things out by darting toward the Togesub and smashing it with his two hands. Dominick, however, seems perfectly alright... and I'm suspecting Shield Dust might have something to do with that? Either way, the little Togepi shines red as he tosses Zaghrem way up into the air only to watch as he crashes back down to the ground rather painfully. Poor guy.
Zaghrem: <-14 HP; -2 EP>
Dominick: <-7 EP; Sub: 11 HP>
Zaghrem decides now is the time to prepare for his inevitable audition for SYTYCD. As it turns out, he's not a particularly graceful little dancer but that's okay because he still manages to bring on the rain. As cold rain drops plink against the field, Dominick rams himself head-first into Zaghrem. Just because he felt like it.
Zaghrem: <-6 HP; -4 EP>
Dominick: <-2 EP; Sub: 11 HP>
Shenanigans continue as Zaghrem tries to create an energy barrier that will ward off all Status effects, but the attempt fails. Sadface. Smirking, Dominick tries to put his opponent to sleep with a nice Yawn... but realizes how friggin' angry he still is about that whole banana pudding/aborted fetus wisecrack. Growling, he scoots over to Dominick and kicks him lightly in the shin. YEAH.

 This is what I get for confusing movesets
OK Zaghrem, start making a ruckus to make sure you don't fall asleep, then follow through with a couple of flying kicks to break through that sub and do some good damage!

‡ Round 12 ‡
Narrowly trailing in terms of hit points, Zaghrem knows he needs to get it together if he wants to pull off a win against that ludicrously coiffed ostrich egg. As rain continues to fall, Zaghrem pounds his chest like a jungle boy and begins hollering uninhibitedly. Sound waves roll across the field and pummel Dominick's Substitute without mercy. Eager to put a cork in that FF wannabe's mouth, Dominick wiggles his fingers and lifts Zaghrem into the air with the strength of his mind. Then, waving his fingers a little more aggressively, he slams Zaghrem against the ground again and again and again. And then again. And, oh, one more time. And then again.
Little guy has bloodlust. Looks like Zaghrem's Special Defence has fallen a tad.
Zaghrem: <-14 HP; -7 EP; -1 SpD>
Dominick: <-7 EP; Sub: 2 HP>
Zaghrem now lunges into the air, whips out a foot and starts swiftly arcing toward Dominick's Substitute in order to land the finishing blow. Squeaking in fright, Dominick waddles toward his Togepi plushie and wraps it up in a bear-hug before Protecting both Substitute and maker within an energy bubble. Zaghrem collides with the barrier; rather than crashing, he gracefully collides foot-first and then kicks off. He lands on the ground and raises a fist. You've survived for now, little Togepi plushie, but just you wait.
And Dominick is now Taunted no more.
Zaghrem: <-11 EP>
Dominick: <-8 EP; Sub: 2 HP>
Once again, Zaghrem goes for a good ol' Hi Jump Kick and there ain't no Protect in the world that's gonna stymie this one. Zaghrem collides and the Substitute is torn to pieces by the Tyrogue's powerful foot. Dominick suddenly begins bawling and yelling and snivelling and... Yawning? A little cloud wafts out of the Togepi's mouth and bursts against Zaghrem. The Tyrogue sways a little and stifles a yawn of his own. Hrm.
Zaghrem: <-11 EP; Drowsy>
Dominick: <-4 EP; Sub: Broken!>
The numbers just keep on a-comin'. Zaghrem scores a 156 and feels a little magical... and a little bouncy, even... while Dominick's 143 causes his fingers to shine purple. Shenanigans.

Future Sight, then Psychic. If he's asleep, use Dream Eater. If not, Metronome.
(I only used it once!)

‡ Round 13 ‡
Rain keeps on hammering away as the next round commences. Clenching his fists, Zaghrem goes ballistic with his shouting and hollering until Sleep is the furthest thing from his mind. Dominick, meanwhile, looks ahead to the Future and glimpses a powerful Psychic-type attack striking his opponent. Okay, Round 14... hurry up and get here!
Zaghrem: <-7 EP; Drowsy no more>
Dominick: <-9 HP; -8 EP>
Zaghrem suddenly does a spin on the spot and creates four little Tyrogue clones who flex their guns in anticipation of battle. However, as it turns out, none of the little guys get the opportunity to fight on account of how they're immediately thwarted... by rain. Raindrops cut through the clones and send them to where clones go to die. Giggling, Dominick falls back on a beloved tactic of his: Psychic! He telekinetically picks Zaghrem up, makes him do the Macarena and then forces him to punch himself in the gut. That's just rude. Also kinda funny.
Zaghrem: <-15 HP; -4 EP; 0 clones>
Dominick: <-7 EP>
Having had a rough go of things, Zaghrem leaps into the air in an attempt to do some mega-damage. He swoops downward with his foot outstretched and connects with his target for some truly frightening damage. Dominick is all but scrambled (geddit, 'cause he's an egg) by the attack but pulls things together for... a Metronome. As I stuff my mouth with gauze to prevent myself from screaming, Dominick wiggles his fingers and suddenly begins emitting a tinny whine. The waves of Metal Sound surge toward Zaghrem but then bizarrely bounce off of them before returning to their sender. Dominick tries to clasp his hands over his ears but, alas, the stubby little things are too short. He falls victim to his own move.

I figured third time's the charm but it looks like Gig isn't going to be joining us, so I guess I'll call for the DQ on this as well.
Fair enough. You and I receive four points each while Gigya gets two, should he ever return to claim them. *closes this down*
