Round 1
Psycho starts the showdown off by using Psychic to levitate his opponent's king into the air. Some beads of sweat begin to form on Psycho's head 'cause, dangit, that thing is heavy.
Rather unceremoniously, Psycho drops the king to the ground. The king hits the ground with a dull thud, and a few cracks begin to form on its surface.
Meanwhile, Psyshock gets to work by reaching out into Psycho's mind. Their auras seem to mix together, and the distinct sound of a lock sliding into place can be heard. Once Psyshock's done, he slumps back to take a breather after the considerable effort of trying to imprison a psychic type move.
[Psycho: -10 energy;psychic¦ Psyshock: -15 energy]
[Ash's King: -5 health]
Psycho sets himself down in a cross-legged position and begins to calm his mind. Psyshock, however, won't let that happen. He pulls out the reversing mirror and points it at Psycho. Before the little ralts knows it, he's assaulted by various thoughts that cloud his mind instead of calm it.
[Psycho: -5 energy; -1 Sp. Atk.; -1 Sp. Def. ¦ Psyshock: -3 energy]
Psycho, ready to do some more damage, points his hands at the king once more. However, instead of the king being lifted up into the air again, nothing happens. Something seems to be blocking the attack.
Psyshock, however, has no such problems. He stomps one foot on the ground, and the earth begins to shake. Both Psycho and his king are thrown around a bit, and Pycho's king shows some cracks not-so-similar to ash's.

Post-Round Notes:
-The king is to be counted as a Rock type, so Earthquake did a little bit more damage (being super effective) on it.
-Normally, in the show, the Reversing Mirror was only shown as being able to reverse the effects of Shen Gong Wu, but I also assume that it can reverse non-Shen Gong Wu stuff as well.

alright first use Magical leaf and push it back a little then use Grass Knot to make it fall on its back and finally Calm Mind.
Subs are Imprison if he uses Imprison

By "se," you mean Super Effective, right?
yep
Emerald, if you want, you can post your moves again (considering you were supposed to go second). Or do you want to stick with what you previously posted?
I'll stick with my moves that I previously posted sorry about that![]()

Round 2
Another exchange of attacks appears to occur. Psycho launches some leaves from out of nowhere, and Psyshock gets knocked back a few yards by them. Psyshock simply stomps one foot on the ground, and the earth begins to shake. Psycho is tossed about once more, and some more small cracks appear on his statue.
However, Psyshock was knocked back Just enough that his own statue is affected by the Earthquake, and some cracks appear in that one as well.
[Psycho: -10 health; -8 energy ¦ Psyshock: -7 health; -10 energy]
[Psycho's King: -7 health ¦ Psyshock's King: -6 health]
Eager to do some more damage, Psycho sticks his fists into the ground, and some faint traces of green begin to show in his arms.
Psyshock, meanwhile, is ready to stomp his foot onto the ground once more. However, a vine appears out of nowhere, grabs the foot Psyshock was about to stomp onto the ground, and throws him towards his own statue. Psyshock and his statue collide, and a few tiny cracks appear in the statue.
[Psycho: -6 energy ¦ Psyshock: -8 health; -3 energy]
[Psyshock's king: -5 health]
All things considered, Psyshock really doesn't want to do any more damage to his own statue. Thus, he leaps into the air so that he lands farther away from his own statue and closer to the other one.
Psycho takes this time to sit down and calm his mind. This concentration is almost shattered, however, when Psyshock once more stomps his foot on the ground, causing another earthquake to do damage to Psycho and his statue.
[Psycho: -10 health; -5 energy; +1 Sp. Atk/Sp. Def. ¦ Psyshock: -8 energy]

Round 2
After a whole showdown and two rounds, we actually get a legitimate usage of two Shen Gong Wu at once. Psycho pulls out the Silk spitter, which glows and launches a string of spider silk towards Psyshock. Psyshock, however, just stands there and pulls out the Reversing mirror, which also begins to glow. In response, the silk shot from the silk spitter makes a complete U-turn and wraps itself around Psycho, instead. Wow. Should've seen THAT coming.
[Psycho: -3 energy ; -1 speed ¦ Psyshock: -3 energy]
Now that his partner is mildly incapacitated, Psycho hops on over to Emerald's Statue. The two blades attached to his arms begin to glow green, and he then goes to work on Emerald's statue.
It takes a while, but Psyshock eventually works himself free of his silk binding. Considering his opponent has done a sufficient amount of damage to his own statue, Psyshock makes the decision to even the score a bit. Planting one arm into the ground, a green light shows, and some vines appear at the base of the statue.
With his other arm, Psyshock telekinetically commands some nearby leaves to go spinning towards the statue. With the dual power of the Vines and sharp leaves, it does considerably more damage than what Psycho did to Emerald's statue.
[Psycho: -14 energy ¦ Psyshock: -8 energy]
[Psycho's statue: -8 health ¦ Psyshock's statue: -16 health]
All tuckered out for this round, Psycho can only watch as Psyshock continues to beat down Emerald's statue with those glowing green blades.

combo a close combat and aerial ace to finish this, if our statue gets in the danger zone use a heal pulse
First use String Shot using the Silk Spitter to stop Psyshock from doing anything then use Heal Pulse twice on your statue

Round 3
This is it. The final stretch of the showdown. Psyshock jumps into the air and speeds towards Psycho's statue, planning to go for one last breaking shot.
Psycho plans to prevent that, however, as he pulls out the Silk Spitter. The Spider-silk shen gong wu glows as it spits out some spider silk that speeds towards Psyshock, looking like a collision course.
However, Psycho's aim is a tad bit off, and it just barely misses Psyshock by a few inches.
Psyshock continues on his own collision course with Psycho's statue, one leg held out in preparation for a kick.
Once Psyshock hits the statue, he goes to work, punching and kicking it all over the place. Psycho watches in absolute horror as his statue is dismantled, piece by piece.
[Psyshock: -14 energy ¦ Psycho: -3 energy]
[Emerald's statue: -13 health]
Soon, Emerald's king statue crumbles, and a glow shines throughout the arena. The next thing the two battlers know, they're back at the temple, and Psyshock is now holding the Reversing Mirror, Silk Spitter, and Mobi Morpher.

Emerald? You gonna challenge ash to a showdown and state the wagers?
sorry i didn't notice that Ash posted
alright I challenge you to a Xiaolin Showdon, I'll wager my Star Of Hanabi versus your Mobi Morpher
haunted hide and seek, take turns hiding, when found we try to scare opponent into running and not being able to tag us, 3 tags=out, roar is not allowed, you are allowed to create atmosphere in each room but must pm ref where you are hiding beforehand
Hmm. This seems kind of interesting, actually. Maybe I could go into a bit of a Safari Zone style of reffing for this showdown.
Alright, then. I'll get to work setting the scene.
Just to let you guys know that I haven't forgotten about this.
I've just been swamped with stuff for the past few days. Next week, when things clear up a bit, I'll hopefully get to doing this.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Alright, guys, I'm gonna be completely honest about this. I think I may have lost all interest in reffing this battle.
Just to let you guys know, this is not your fault in any way. In fact, you both have been very VERY good battlers in what was a pretty good test run for this idea.
However, I don't think this idea of a kind of battle seems to be much of a good idea, anymore. Again, it's not anyone's fault but my own. This whole thing did seem like a good idea in theory. However, I have slowly been losing interest in the whole "Xiaolin Showdown" battle idea. This whole thing was pretty much born after rewatching many episodes of "Xiaolin Showdown" back-to-back, and inspiration struck. However, I just don't have an interest in reffing this match, anymore. There are a lot of very creative ideas you guys have that I just can't put into effect with my lack of reffing skills (and my constant trend of procrastination doesn't seem to help, either).
I was hoping it wouldn't come to me wimping out and quitting on this, but I've started feeling guilty that this battle has been hogging up a battle slot for each of you, and those things are precious things to have open, IMO. I would consider appointing a new ref, but I don't know how many people on here have a wide enough knowledge of the show to keep this battle going.
If you guys share my view on this and want this to end already, then we'll just end this at a draw. Technically, Ash has defeated 2 of emerald's pokemon, so I guess he would technically win at this sort-of 2v2 ending, here. In that case, Ash and I would get 4 points while Emerald would get 2.
If you guys really want to keep this battle going for whatever reason, then I'll try to figure something out.
Again, sorry it has come to this.

awww oh well that's fine by me though if emerald still wants to battle maybe we continue this one as a standard tournament battle in indigo plateau (basically remove the xiaolin showdown element)
Alright lets do it in the Indigo Plateau field.
Alright, then. Thank you guys for understanding.
Ok, so it's Emerald's Ninetails vs. Ash's Rotom.
Considering the current score is Ash: 2 - Emerald: 0, and it's out of 5, do you guys want to keep going from that? or maybe you guys want to devolve this into a 3v3 match-up to decide it, now?
Lets just do a finish this with a 3v3
Do you guys want to change what pokemon you're going to use for right now, or do you want to stick with ninetails vs. rotom?
I'm good with that
lets change our pokemans cuz I have some new ones
Do you also want to switch pokemon, Ash, or do you want to change as well?
If you both decide to change, it will still be in the same order as before, so Emerald has to release first.
Imma send out Seze, my Male Salamence with Intimidate
I'mma stick with rotom normal form start by phasing into the ground and combining a dark pulse and ominous wind to darken the arena probably like the dark fog stuff the murkrow use in pokemon ranger soa then finish by thunder waving seze from the ground
I have absolutely no idea what to do...Seze use Dragon Pulse, Tailwind to blow out that Dark Fog if it works,if not then use Fire Fang and then use Protect
might as well *bump*

Round 1
Probably being the one and only person I've seen in ASB that has ever even done this tactic, Ash orders his rotom to phase into the ground. Seze issues a grunt of utter confuzzlement as his opponent leaves his sight.
Ash's next command, however, commands his rotom to fire an attack from the ground. The ominous wind passes from Rotom, through the ground, and throughout the arena easily, shrouding the area in a thin layer of darkness.
However, problems begin when rotom decides to launch a dark pulse from the ground. The instant the dark pulse leaves Plaz's body, it makes contact with the ground that's around Plaz. This causes an explosion within the ground, and many grams of dirt fly out of the ground at once, causing a hole. At the bottom of the hole is our resident appliance ghost, fully tangible and dazed from the explosion.
Spotting this hole (and the explosion that caused it), Seze investigates and finds Plaz at the bottom of the hole, dazed from the backfired attack.
Overjoyed to see that Plaz is within his sights once more, Seze launches a beam of draconic energy, hitting plaz directly.
[Plaz:-18 health; -12 energy ¦ Seze: -8 energy]
Seeing that his attack worked, Seze decides to get rid of this pesky fog. Seze begins flapping his wings furiously, causing a wind to flow throughout the area. This wind dispatches the fog quickly enough, and Seze gains a speed boost as well.
Plaz decides that hiding didn't really work out too well, so he decides to get out into the open and fire a blue bolt of electricity. This bolt hits Seze square in the chest, and his limbs lock up from paralysis.
[Plaz: -6 energy ¦ Seze: -6 energy; Tailwind (2 rounds); Paralysed]
Plaz seems to be out of moves for the round, and what does Seze do? Creates a protective field of energy, that's what!
