    Lol, Protect + ??? combos are pretty common. If they can fire attacks from behind bubbles I'm pretty sure Snatching won't be impossible.

    Newness!

    ===Stipulations===

    Arena: Combat Disco

    ===Battlers===

    ===Round 9===

    The rock music jams on with some ...Sultans of Swing? Seriously, I would never classify this as rock. Anyway. Bronzasaur is ready to roc--ugh no. Not saying that word anymore. The bell flings another steel ball of reverse addiction right for Snake. The serpentine grasser holds his ground even as the ball does a nasty slice of damage. Feeling lucky, Snake opens its arms and looks to the sky. The dome opens and everyone at first winces from the harsh glare of sunlight that comes streaming through the plexiglass surface...butt at only means

    YAY! DANCE PARTY ON THE SECOND LEVEL!

    Sn: -4E/-20H ~~~ BR: -8E

    Gyro ball complete, Snake rubs his chest and goes in for the attack. But instantly Bronz throws up the shield of everlasting power. Seeing that there's a nice buffer between them, Sake skids to a stop and tries to internalize that photosynthetic process. All at once, in the midst of energizing up, that shield falls, and Bronz snatches that aspect right from Snake.

    Too shocked to even contemplate that happening, Snake just stands there, dumbfounded.

    Sn: -12E ~~~ BR: -11E/+30H

    Well now, robbed blind and taken advantage of, Snake decides its time for some levelling. A smaller storm of leaves whip and berate the levitating stone, but Nothing like a true Leaf Storm. Still hurts, with all that super attack Snake acquired.

    Sn: -5E ~~~ BR: -20H

    Light Screen, Gyro Ball, Gyro Ball.

    Protect against damage-dealing combos and first uses of Taunt. Snatch errything but Rest. Ignore both subs if you be Taunted.

    Lol, I figured there'd be a Giga Drain coming down the pike.

    Honestly, I knew you were going to make use of Regenerator... I knew you had Snake waiting in the wings to wreak some Contrary havoc... I knew the Rock effect was gonna benefit you... so why the frak did I use Flash Cannon instead of Block at the end of Round 7? I even considered using Block, but I was all like "HURR I'MMA DO SOME DAMAGE INSTEAD 8D" and it all went south from there. There's nothing quite as fun as self-sabotaging with a little bit of Oslogic.

    BUT I'MMA STILL WIN THIS, GUYS.

    ===Round 10===

    As the warm weather keeps the people vibing, and the Rock hits keep barreling though, Bronzor makes a strange misstep. It waves its arms in that familiar manner to create a shield. But the slack mouthed Servine chimes up, asking what kind of bell Bronzor is.

    A DUMB-BELL!

    :/ Yeah even that was lame for me. But it ticks Rex off (Why? Seriously?) and now there's no shield.

    Sn: -2E~~~ BR: Tnt: 2 act

    Bronz flings a fit and really loses its cool. Without hesitation, one of those dastardly sharp Gyro Balls are created and flung. Snake doesn't even flinch, throwing out a Storm of Leaves that literally levitate Rex higher than it was used to within its matrix. The burrowing steel ball hurt, but I'm pretty sure both are burning quite a bit.

    Sn:-8E/-20H +2SpA~~~ BR: -8E/-32H

    Bronzor tries once again for a little bit of slice and dice with a reverse spin Gyro Ball. The slow moving sphere hits Snake-and Snake scoffs. That's only because it's draining Rex of that last bit of health. All that souped up power is quite useful now.

    The hits just keep on coming. Rex plays it defensive and quickly tries to set up a Substitute, while crafting a Protective barrier. It yields enough strength to withstand the Giga Drain that comes over it. But Rex-Rexy not doing so hot.

    Sn: -7E ~~~ BR: -15E/-5H Sub: 5H

    Snake hisses as its luck, and flings its arms up. The Storm of energy released, rips that Sub to shreds in milliseconds, but it does nothing to help against the Gyro Ball that speeds its way across the field and onto Snake's head. A few whirls, and Snake was felled.

    The beat changes, and now we are ..Nice. little Classical...

    combo a fake-out + Sing to put him to sleep and stop the explosion. If he ends up doing the explosion anyway for whatever reason, quickly go into a protect.

    If the explosion doesn't happen, then relax a turn.

    Bronzasaurus hovered silently as the music changes to a more subtle beat. The sway of the strings causes folk to dance in pairs, and the solo Bronze charges up its body for a final hurrah at the perfect point. Sake sauntered back onto the field, and quickly dashed in. The strike was weak, but the soothing melody uttered in rhythm to the beat was enough to quell the beast.

    Thanks for pointing this out to me, though, considering I apparently didn't even notice that this was posted (my bad)

    Combo a High-Jump-Kick and a Drain Punch, then if it's not down use drain punch once more.

    Uhhhh my bad. The strategy I though of will not work-I had to look it up to be sure it wasn't one of those weird circumstantial moves.

    Good luck?

    Well, I was gonna forfeit, but instead I'll go down fists swinging.
    It may be hopeless for me at this point, but I'll make this as close as I can.

    Alroight. Pep talk time.
    "Sake, this glorified circus balloon has played you for a fool. This pokemon has made an attempt to bring you to your knees. To crush your very spirit with its horrible song. You must be extremely angry at it, just absolutely furious!
    Use that anger. Release the inner fighter within you. The situation may seem hopeless, but I want you to go down fighting like a true warrior! The one thing we can attempt to keep is our honor and dignity!

    Now get out there and hit that balloon with everything you got!"

    Alroight, Sake, let's ROCK this house! Intercept their aerial ace with a stone edge!

    Then Dodge that Body Slam as best as you can. Once that thing hits the ground, jump on top of him and use Night Slash, as strong and sharp as you can make it.

    Then let's use your speed to our advantage. Keep out of its field of vision as much as possible. If it manages to hit you with psychic, then don't sweat it, but use Payback once it's done. Utilize your anger for ultimate payback.

    I won't stand down. Not when we can still fight! I will at least make this as close as possible!

    ... Where's there's a Will...

    Newness!

    ===Stipulations===

    Arena: Combat Disco

    ===Battlers===

    ===Round 14===

    Some people are told that they have 6 months to live, and wallow in their own fear of death.

    Some people are told this exact fact, and instead live the life they were meant to live.

    It's this second statement that BT instilled in Sake with a motivational pep talk. As Vivaldi plays over the airwaves, Sake takes deep breaths and stretched out in a balanced Tai Chi pose. Re/Max doesn't like this newfound confidence, and spins for a swift strike to Sake's chest. Sake dives in and grabs the hand-pulling it in for the strike. In response, her elbow jams DEEP into RE's side and Sake twists, grinding the point home that this battle is FAR from over.

    Sa: -9E/-7H ~~~ RE: -3E/-18H

    Not faltering in any motion, Sake smoothly swept his feet under the downed balloon and bounced off and away in a high springflip. RE spun in the air and used air propulsion to jettison itself into the landing Pokemon. The hit was a success, and both Pokemon went careening to the floor again, but Sake Slashed the ghost in order to make some space.

    RE/MAX floated up, realizing this head-to head strategy was not faring all too well.

    Sa: -8E/-8H ~~~ RE: -6E/-16H

    Sake crouched again to regain composure, and found that he would need it more than ever. RE took the time to use a more ethereal approach-warping the very reality which Sake was trying to distort with physical prowess. The attack razzed the fighter's mind for a short moment, but Sake fought off its dizzying effects, and barreled forth.

    Sake landed atop of RE/MAX and forcibly slammed one paw directly o the powdery white fluff atop RE/MAX's head. The strike sent Re/MAX down enough for Sake to hop off, satisfied with its revenge thus far.

    Sa: -5E/-16H ~~~ RE: -8E/-20H

    ===End Stats===

    Perish Count: 2

    A hell of a comeback round, but can BT somehow keep up the pressure and pull this out. It's going to be a nail-biter finish!

    *Sigh* There's still a chance for this. We need to pull out all the stops. Use your speed to your advantage, Sake. Dodge his moves as much as you possibly can while striking him forcefully with your own!

    Stone Edge ~ Night Slash ~ Hidden Power

    In the first instance of them using protect, use Focus Energy. The one thing we need here is a lucky break. Let's hope we get that lucky break, so be sure to aim for weak points, if there are any. (lol and wouldn't it be awesome if the hidden power was super effective? xD)

    No matter what happens this round, Oslo, it has been a good match. This one round will decide it all, though.

    Use Aerial Ace to dodge that Stone Edge and strike with some added Psychic powurz. Finish with Explosion.
