(12/31) Do you have any New Year's resolutions for 2013 and/or wishes for things you hope happen next year? If so, what?

For me, I have both, for my New Year's resolution, I hope to find a good job that I can succeed at (right now, it's a matter of reaching out to a certain place first and going from there)...as for stuff I hope happens next year, well, one of them pertains to a TPMer, I'm crossing my fingers an old friend from TPM I recently found on Facebook will find some time to come back to TPM (I'm talking about DarkPrincess)...anyone besides me and Gabi remember her? As for other stuff I'm hoping to have happen next year, I'm pondering getting a new laptop, just incase I decide to switch to Windows 8.

In addition to the two MGs, can I have my last two EMTs for 2012, please? Better late than never, I always say.

I'm going to moderate my Facebook usage in an unique way. I'll tell more in a topic I'll make at Misc later. February will be a month to test. Why to moderate Facebook usage? I'll do it to get more time for other things, TPM, drawing, videogames, work, studying, as simple as that. Another thing I almost made I resolution about, was that I won't make myself disappointed by falling love again on the becoming year, but I'm quite sure I can't keep that...

Can't say I have any resolutions right now, I'll probably think of one or 2, maybe start hitting the gym a little bit more. Maybe get my full coaching certifications for hockey. Who knows, I tend not to hold onto resolutions too well... Haha.

I ended up catching up with a bunch of friends at my buddies new house. It seems it's that time where literally all my friends have decided to get engaged so last night was a party to congratulate all those that have over the course of the last month. Made for a fun evening though, I'll give it that.

I kept it pretty low key. Stayed up with my boyfriend and promptly passed out not 10 minutes after midnight hit the west coast (I've been overworked so it's hard for me to stay up right now). We just watched some cartoons and anime til the new year hit, then we raced to try to be the first one to wish the other the happy new years. He won, kinda.

I did two stand up shows to ring in the year. Finished them at 11:45, and the bands played. Hopped in my car and just drove around when the clock hit midnight. Just me and my music.

[1/20] What attracts you most to a breed of animal, its personality or its appearance? When looking into getting a new pet, do you look at species first based on its coloring or based on its reputation?
I'll admit that the very first thing I look at is the coloring because it's the first thing you can always tell about an animal. They might keep their true personality a secret until down the line. Plus, some of the breeds are just gorgeous like toygers and Somali, breeds my boyfriend and I have been talking about looking into for our future cats.

I grew up with Labs and German Sheppards, so I've always had an affinity for those type of dogs. I like em bigger... Had bad experiences with small yippy dogs, seeing they are about the size of my foot... So I would guess I would base my choice on past experience when getting a new pet (which I'll probably get a lab when I can finally get my house) but I do like the color as well. Secretly, lately I've wanted to get a Corgi, but I keep hearing it's one of the dumbest breeds, so I'm rethinking that, lol.

[1/22] With the Superbowl (American Football) around the corner, are there any major sporting events or yearly events that you follow very closely / borderline religiously? Have you ever gone to see them live or do you catch them on tv / radio?

While I watch the Superbowl religiously here (mainly for the game, but the commercials help too... 30 seconds of airtime costs 4 mil $), I also try to watch the Stanley Cup Playoffs (Hockey) and the World Cup every 4 years (Big Brazil / England fan, though sometimes I can't stand the sport)... and then there are the Olympics, which are fun to watch. As for live, I would love to go to any of these (had my shot at the stanley cup games a few years back) but ticket prices are rediculously expensive, which I just can't afford, so I just watch them on TV as much as I can.

I would actually enjoy watching NHL and there is one Finnish chargeable channel offering it, but can't afford. Instead, I follow Ice Hockey World Cup. Also FIFA World Cup every fourth year, although it's not as popular in my country. I was caught up into football during the Japan/Korea Cup back in 2002. One of my classmates commented that those 'Japan vs Indo China' matches weren't that interesting, I thought she was wrong and 'Indo China' is not even a country
