feild Contest Hall, a spacious hall full of pokefans there is a screen displaying the energy and hp meters as well as a new one, the appeal meter, this is controlled by the ref, it goes up with good combos and is reduced with damage/bad combos whoever is standing/highest score after 6?(ref decides) turns wins and we switch (basically like in the anime)
I'm starting with BLZkn Blaziken M speed boost

I am willing to edit this to allow for newcomers (3v3/less evolved poke)

For today's match we have an interesting mix of battling and contests. At the end of each round, the pokemon will be judged on how well they battled and awarded points based on the damage they caused, the damage hey received, and how they performed their attacks. Bonus points will be awarded to originality or quick thinking, whilst deductions will be made for errors of judgement. Enough chatter, lets get this Contest Battle underway! Ash0011 sends out his trusty Smeargle, Leo whilst returning Edretah sends out a diminutive Pichu Deadmau5. The two looks geared up for a fight.

Deadmau5 is quick to act, sparks of electricity flicker around his body, as they are channelled into one ever growing charged orb. Leo grabs her tail and starts to paint something quickly, but in the end it doesn't look like she's done anything at al. Deadmau5 lets the charged orb go, and it shoots out across the contest hall in a beam, bursting into Leo. The sparks fade, and Leo seems no worse for wear. In fact she appears to be just standing there, doing very little of anything. The crowd do not seem impressed at her reaction. Deadmau5 shakes off the last of the sparks, but a few hang around to give him an additional boost to his abilities.

Leo; the real Leo; hidden behind the perception filter her Substitute creates starts to sketch out a medallion. A smooth round medal made of glittering silver, bearing an all seeing eye on the face. She sketches a chain through it and hangs it round her neck, displaying it for all to see. However the audience are watching Deadmau5 attack the false Leo and ignore the true Smeargle entirely. Completely surrounded by wild crackling electricity, the tiny Pichu darts around the hall gaining speed, before crashing into the false Leo with gusto. The force of the attack shatters the Substitute in one go, leaving nothing but a few flecks of paint on the floor. Deadmau5 rolls across the floor, finally coming to a stop as the voltage fades. The aduience cheer for Deadmau5, whilst a few point and stare at the dejected looking Leo.

Now with both foes facing each other at last, they can focus on attacking each other properly. Deadmau5 skips towards Leo, ready to grab her tail and whip it around. But just as he gets close enough to reach out, the medallion around Leo's neck shines, and Leo reaches out with a new found psychic ability, plucking Pichu and throwing him into the air and away from her tail. 'Mau5 lands with a thump and decides not to make another attempt on Leo's tail just yet.

Judges Results

For a first round it was exciting, though unfortunately only one one side of the fight. Deadmau5 was amazing, the display of electrical attacks ranging from a concentrated beam and then onto a powerful and erratic volt tackle was very impressive coming from such a small pokemon. Leo on the other hand made the mistake of creating a Substitute on her first turn. Whilst it was a good idea to save herself the damage of those attacks, the audience only saw a static copy that did nothing. They weren't impressed at all. When it finally came to the big reveal, her display of psychic powers were a big surprise, but because nobody saw her sketching the medallion, it was created confusion rather than awe.

Leo is awarded 8 points for the surprise attack of Psychic, but looses 5 points for the bad move of hiding behind a Substitute and not being seen.
Deadmau5 is awarded 5 points for his range of electrical attacks, and 8 points for the awesome damage caused by the Volt Tackle. He looses 2 Points for the failed Seismic Toss.

For some reason, I forgot to change the HP counters at the end of the last round. Bravo to both of you for not noticing. I've corrected it at the start of this one.

Taking full advantage over the range of psychic abilities granted to her by the Psy Medallion, Leo uses her tail to whip up a beautiful glowing heart symbol that hovers in the air between her and Deadmau5. The Pichu sees it as a draw of his affection, and starts to put the moves on Leo himself, slowly but steadily seducing the artisan pokemon. Leo falls for Deadmau5 in seconds, but is still so focused on her ultra combo that she can't give in to passion just yet. A rush of adrenaline burns through her body, boosting her speed and agility. The heart rushes forward, slamming into Deadmau5, like a boot stamping on his head. Just as the attack hits, a bead of energy is sucked from the electric type and flies back to Leo, as the electrical boost from earlier is swapped around.

Leo bathes in the cheers from the audience, but as the crowds die down expectant of the rest of the battle, Leo once again finds her the subject of no attention, as she has run out of things to do. Instead she must stand back and watch as her beau takes centre stage and as a result, all of the crowds focus. Deadmau5 lifts his arms in mock preparedness, before a silver glow overcomes his body and spreads away from him to create two identical copies of the little Pichu. The three Pichu hop and skip around each other in perfect harmony, before standing together in a triangle, each one facing out, and bowing to the crowds. Everyone sees it, and everyone loves it.

Left again with nothing to do but stare into the distance, Leo glances up at her trainer who shrugs back at her. A thought passes through her mind of whether Ash0011 knows how a contest battle works. In the meantime, the Deadma5 trio have all encircled the picasso pokemn, and each one appears to be charging an attack. Another beam of concentrated electricity bursts out of all three, the glow creating almost a globe of light that far outshines the arenas flood lights. Only one of the beams hits Leo, the other two are merely for show, but it's impossible to tell from which direction it came, leaving Leo sparking and shocked from the attack.

Judges Results

Leo performed an amazing triple combo in the first turn, which looked fantastic if not a little crowded. Had she been combining three attacks into one it would have been a lot more impressive, but an attack and two status changers seemed a little odd. Whilst it was a mighty feat to perform it all in one go, it left her too tired to do anything for the rest of the round. All eye were on Deadmau5 for the rest of the battle, and the little Pichu didn't disappoint. Everyone loves cute, and Double Team was saccharine enough to make your teeth hurt. Then to see each clone perform Charge Beam.. the arena was lit up, I bet you could see the glow for miles! Leo sat and took the full attack making Deadmau5 the clear victor in the audience' books once again.

Leo is awarded 16 points for a surprise combo that dealt good damage and caused a lot of upset to Deadmau5, but looses 8 points for again being absent from the rest of the battle due to bad decision making.
Deadmau5 is awarded 8 points for his set up of Double Team and the amazing display of a multitude of Charge Beams. No further points are awarded, as despite the attack being impressive, we also saw it in the previous round.

Lets start with a nice shiny thunder wave! Give leo a nice smack to the face with a powerful iron tail, and finish with sweet kiss.

use a psychic to shape the thunder wave into a heart and send it to pichu then use psyco shift to transfer the Infatuation to pichu and finish by putting up a magic coat and making it kiss its reflection

The three Pichu lark about, each one of them sparking with white electricity that almost seems to pulse out towards Leo. Because there are three Pichu, each one sending out a pulse, it creates a ripple effect like drops of rain in still water that excites the crowd. Still, Leo reaches out using psychic thoughts provided by the medallion. Unable to tell which pulse is real, she has to reach out to all of them, pulling them in close and reshaping them into a heart to impress her love. The crowd 'ooh' and 'ahh' at the display of love, but the time it takes for her to reshape erratic energy causes it to dissipate before she can send it back, and the heart fizzles out in mid air.

Next Leo creates a mental like with her love, intent on not just sharing, but sending that affection directly over, leaving her with nothing but a distant memory of a failed relationship. Unfortunately, the Psycho shift tries to remove a physical ailment from her, like a burn mark or a coating of frost. With nothing to move other than thoughts and emotion the link breaks up, and Leo is left a little confused as to why she would want to abandon the love for Deadmau5. The Pichu on the other hand has no such qualms, and slams his tail into Leo's face, iron and steel strengthening the appendage into a hardened weapon.

After such an assault, Leo can't bare to look at Deadmau5. Domestic violence is nothing to be laughed at and Leo isn't laughing. Deadmau5 tries to send a few kisses towards Leo in an attempt to confuse her after beating on her once already. Despite her ability preventing confusion, Leo creates a mirror that reflects the image back onto Deadmau5, leaving the rodent dazed and confused at the thought of kissing himself.

Judges Results
Leo really started off well this time. Despite the clones causing a little bit of confusion, she reshaped the electricity into a symbol of affection that really caught the audiences eye. If that wasn't romantic I don't know what is. After that though, it all went a little pear shaped. Psycho Shift didn't work as planned, and doesn't really have anything to show anyway, and then wasting a chance to attack her foe and instead defending against something she is immune to let her down. Deadmau5 on the other hand was a disappointment this round. The attack on Leo after the romantic gesture seemed uncalled for and it upset a lot of people, and the choice of attacks were plain and standard fare for a regular battle.

Leo is awarded 10 points for the reshaping of the Thunder Wave, but looses 4 points for both the failed Psycho Shift and choosing to deflect an attack it was immune to.
Deadmau5 is awarded 5 points for a pretty standard set of attacks that impressed, but didn't have the flair that a contest would normally call for. He looses 4 points for the merciless attack that showed very little affection.

Psycho Shift transfers non-volatile status afflictions (as Bulbapedia puts it), those being Burn, Sleep (provided it was used through Sleep Talk), Paralysis and Poison. You could probably manage freeze too in ASB, though not in the games obviously. It doesn't transfer conditions like Infatuation, confusion, curse, trapping leech seed, etc.

Use Magne Rise to get yourself in the air, and make it extra sparky/shiny! Attack using a combination of thu derbolt and Rollout! Do this by storing your thunderbolt and release it, simultaneously using Rollout to simulate a rolling Volt Tackle style attack!

The crowd roars and chants, it is half way through the first contest and three rounds remain to judge the two pokemon. Leo is still in love with Deadmau5, whilst the little Pichu holds his head and tries to focus. Leo smirks, and with the power of the Psy Medallion, shapes a shell of telekinetic energy around herself. With yet another psychic, the shell strengthens, creating a pink bubble around her capable of repelling any force. Alongside the shield, Deadmau5 begins to spark and shine. A pulse of energy starts to form between Deadmau5' feet and the floor, gently lifting the electric type up away from the ground, as if he was standing on an invisible platform.

Content with being safe inside her psychic shield, Leo turns her attention to sketching. With her tail pumping out brown paint, she sketches an intricate circle of overlapping triangles, circles and lines upon the palms of her hands. She waves her hands waiting for the paint to dry and watches Deadmau5. The Pichu curls into a ball, and starts charging electricity around himself. He gets into a roll, builds up a little momentum, then heads flat out for Leo, sending electricity everywhere as he bowls towards his target. He strikes the shield and it has two effects. The first is to bounce Deadmau5 off, knocking him around, but he still manages to land well given he is still floating above the ground. The second effect is to throw Leo off balance. Oblivious to the fact that the shield is a telekinetic force created from her mind and not a natural barrier, the sudden strain of something striking it rips her head apart and the shield collapses under the stress.

Judges Results
Well that was a short round with both pokemon pulling off combos. Lets start with Leo, the shield looked beautiful, and was a great surprise choice considering how many of the shields are actually psychic attacks anyway. The painting on the hands.. well I'm sure that is going to mean something later on. Deadmau5' Magnet Rise looked stunning, and the look of Pichu floating in the air is always a wonder to look at. The Thunder Rollout again looked amazing, but it was unfortunate that the shield repelled it so well. That said, it was a bit disappointing that the shield fell so quickly, but that is the risk of using psychic powers when you are not a psychic pokemon.

Leo is awarded 10 points for the amazing shield, but looses 4 Point for failing to concentrate on keeping it up. No points are awarded or lost for the sketching, in hopes that it impresses in future rounds.
Deadmau5 is awarded 4 points for the Magnet rise and 6 points for the combo, but looses 3 points for its failure to land a hit
