Forgot to add Double Team stats from the last time it was used, so it's in D5's + stats now.

Leo stares at her foe, and makes a screwed up snarling face as she glares at Deadmau5. The Pichu hesitates, fearing the potential attack from his foe. Regardless, he and his three existing clones spread out around the artist pokemon. A glimmer of light washes over them all, and suddenly there are another two clones. Now five Pichu encompass Leo, who despite her gurning is actually taking the time to relax and chill our for a bit. Who says you can't relax and gurn at the same time. The chance to stop and clear her mind lifts any lasting infatuation she had for her electric foe.

    Leo HP -0, PP +8 ; Love
    Deadmau5 HP -0, PP -5 ; Cln+2

Deadmau5 and his copies start to glow a brilliant yellow white, but as he does so, Leo reaches out with the power of the Psy Medallion. A glowing heart symbol appears over the Painter pokemon, and another over her foe. Deadmau5 looks up at the heart. His charge is getting brighter, but it's not yet complete. The two hearts swap places, and with the swap goes the clones. The Pichu vanish and reappear as multiple copies of Leo on the other side. The crowd goes wild, they barely even notice the tiny light created by one lone Pichu as he charges his electric power up to the next level.

    Leo HP -0, PP -8 ;
    Deadmau5 HP -0, PP -5 ; Holding Charge

Looking over at his foe, Deadmau5 sees all his clones have become enemy clones. What? How did this happen? The shock and confusion causes his mind to wander as he attempts to make sense of the whole thing. In an act of pure delirium, Deadmau5 gives himself a headache and ends up hitting himself to try and get rid of it, damaging himself more than he could have done to his enemy this time. As a result of her opponent not attacking, Leo holds off on creating a reflection and waves to the crowd, her newfound set of clones doing the same.

    Leo HP -0, PP +8 ;
    Deadmau5 HP -0, PP -2 ; HP -3 ; Cnf

Well holy crap! What did Leo just do there? That gurning was a bit of a put of at first, but then KAPOW! A Heart Swap pulled out of nowhere, and suddenly we're looking at a crowd of Smeargles and a lone Pichu sitting solo. That was a hell of a game changers right there, and Leo pulled it off without a fault. I can't say anything more, that was a seriously good move choice from Ash0011, and I feel sorry for Edretah, who will have to make up a great deal in the final round of this primary contest in the following round.

Leo is awarded 15 points for the surprise of the Heart Swap and the excellent impression it made.
Deadmau5 is awarded 5 points for the Charge, but loses 3 points due to the self inflicted damage

leo and clones hit the ground forming a water transmutation circle (with an earth power) under mau and immediately use ice beam, then transmute the ice into a a large blizzard if mau uses discharge the first turn then psychic the energy into a ball and explode it on him and eliminate the ice beam from the moves (go straight to blizzard after circle creation)

    Hell no.

Get rid of those clones immediately using Shock Wave. Finally finish with Chakra Smash! (Hidden power + Reversal) store up that hidden Power and unleash it as you use reversal!

Leo focuses on the earth and using the energy of the ground to carve a pathway into the ground. Her clones mimic the action, but two are suddenly wiped out as an erratic wave of charged electricity cuts through them, before striking Leo and frying her fur. The clones absence leaves the circle incomplete, and as Leo's attack is disrupted, the light show created by the clones also fades, leaving nothing but a tiny slice of a failed transmutation circle.

    Leo HP -14, PP -8 ; Cln-2
    Deadmau5 HP -0, PP -3 ; Chrg

With no means to create water and even less means to turn the water into ice to make a Blizzard Leo can do nothing but look at her foe. The crowd start to boo and hiss at the Smeargle, leaving the artists looking utterly defeated. Deadmau5 still has one last trick up his tiny yellow sleeves. He channels a special energy from deep within himself, sending it outwards from his body to project a bright teal aura around his form. Then, rushing at past his foe, he suddenly double backs and strikes with a hard physical blow, sending the aura exploding outwards like a firework at the exact moment he makes contact. Leo and 'mau5 tumble along the floor, leaving a sparkling trail of mixed teal, blue and green behind them. Deadmau5 rolls out of the tumble and comes to a complete stop, the shine of the aura fading away as he takes his bow. Leo manages to stagger to her feet and takes a similar courtesy, signally the end of the first six rounds of the Contest Battle.

    Leo HP -9, PP -0
    Deadmau5 HP -0, PP -6 ; HP Drg

What a shame. After the surprise performance in the last round, Leo had it all and fell flat on her face. For all the ability a Smeargle has to mimic and create, there was far too much reliance on pop-culture references and intricate set up here to be of any use. Had the circle been a success, it still would have relied on the attacks working. Without the circle, there was nothing left for her to do. Deadmau5's self titled Chakra Smash was a brilliant display of raw fighting spirit and pure elemental energy.

Leo is awarded 0 points for failing to do anything and is given a penalty of 5 points due to her trainer breaking the rules.
Deadmau5 is awarded 10 points for ruining his opponents plan with one move, and putting on one last performance that ended the contest with pizzaz!

As a result of this, the winner of this first Contest battle is Edretah and Deadmau5!

Ash0011, you edited your attacks 30th January 2013 at 01:29 PM

This is a gross violation of the rules. The reason members alternate their turns is so that no person is left at a disadvantage. You cannot change your attacks after your opponent has posted, for any reason. It doesn't matter if you missed an attack out, it doens't matter if you wrote 'bkizzarf' instead of 'blizzard'. You DO NOT edit your post. I spoke to DarkestLight about this matter before reffing, and he tells me you have been told not to do this before. As a result, your pokemon was penalised valuable points in the final round and lost because of it. This is non-negotiable.

... okay I understand the penalty but the clones weren't needed to complete the circe, leo was the one doing the work not the clones, the clones were just there to make it look epic, their removal shouldn't have affected the earth power

You specifically stated Leo and the clones form the circle. If you wanted Leo to create the whole circle, then the clones would have mimicked it and created five randomly overlapping circles, rendering the original useless anyway.

They are just illusions, but they mimic your attack and the appearance of the effects of the attack perfectly as well. Otherwise what use are they as decoys, if only one pokemon is performing the move?

And you still need to attack.

    That was confusing..

Start off with Smokescreen! Immediately after you cant be seen use Dig, and then when the Ominous wind blow the smoke away, execute the attack! Suprise!

Read for round two of the Contest battle, two brand new pokemon are brought out, and the judges scores are reset. Plaz the Rotom is sent out in its pure form, away from any appliances that may sway the judges favour, and it faces off against a young Cyndaquil called Baelroc. Plaz immediately goes all out again, intending to impress the judges with one big attack. A dark energy forms around Plaz and at the same time electricity begins to drain from its plasma body into the air around it. The sparks join up with the dark blobs of energy creating a swirling maelstrom of contrasting black and white. Baelroc grunts and sends smoke billowing towards Plaz, and for a second the pokemon is engulfed in the thick smog, but only for a second. A powerful wind is whipped up around Plaz, spiralling the smoke upwards towards the rafters of the arena, and all three attacks are thrown out at the tiny fire type. A darkness infused electrical discharge riding on a phantom wind blows into the Cyndaquil, blowing him clean off his feet and into the barriers of the arena. The crowd goes wild.

    Plaz HP -0, PP -17
    Baelroc HP -25, PP -5

Now having exhausted itself in one action, Plaz finds itself stuck with nothing to do for the rest of the battle, just as Leo did in the previous contest. The crowd murmur amongst themselves as they observe this repeated pattern emerging, whist Baelroc hastily digs at the ground. It's a bit though, but eventually he breaks through the arena surface and burrows underneath the arena. Where will he pop up? Nobody knows for sure, but the crowd seem a bit intrigued by it.

    Plaz HP -0, PP -0
    Baelroc HP -0, PP -2 ; Underground

The crowd are getting bored of waiting, and as if on schedule, Baelroc bursts out of the ground beneath Plaz. Dirt and tiling goes everywhere as the Cyndaquil leaps out and fins that Plaz has easily floated up and out of reach of the little fire type. Levitating above the ground has given the ghost the clearance to completely avoid the attack from beneath. The crowd boo.

    Plaz HP -0, PP -0
    Baelroc HP -0, PP -3 ; Underground

    Judges Results
Plaz' first atack was once again an amazing display of light and dark working together. It destroyed Baelroc's attempt at lowering accuracy by not only blowing it away, but using it as part of the performance. It was looking a bit grim when the Rotom was left with nothing else to do in the round, but Baleroc's poor choice of attack that both hid it form the audience and then failed to have any effect whatsoever, meant that everything the crowd remembered from that first around, was the first attack.

Plaz is awarded b10 points for a beautiful combo and a further 5 points for inflicting good damage
Baelroc is awarded 0 points for failing to impress and using an attack that had no effect.

Use double team, and encircle plaz. Then use flame wheel and accumulate speed in a circle (as well as clones) to make a ring of fire! Finish by using a nice hot and beautiful lava plume
