You're a bit confused, certainly, but don't let it bother you too much. You head down the stairs in this unusually small house and greet your mother who's watching TV. I'd tell you all about it, but I'm pretty sure you already know what she's about to say.

Fastfoward, and you're standing outside -- you recognize the place to be a Gameboy-era Pallet Town. You shrug your shoulders and head to the outskirs, whereupon you immediately get harassed by a(n oddly) familiar voice.


Wild Pokémon!? Really!? You almost forget that, in the real world, pokémon already exist, but you gleefully follow the professor to his lab where he goes on and on about how he used to collect pokémon when he was young and is now and old man forced into a professorship. Nevertheless, you're dangerously sans pokémon and he just so happens to have three poké balls sitting on the table waiting for you to choose one:

Round ONE SIXTY-TWO
Goku casually wanders over to the nuzleaf and they start up a rapport. You can barely understand the two of them as they chat, but they appear to be happy with eachother.

Goku returns to you and tells you about nuzleaf's good spirits. It would appear as though the tiny grass pokémon (oddly named Shunk) stumbled upon the rare bone you've been looking for! Your eyes widen, and you turn to Shunk to see if he'd be willing to part with such a thing.

Shunk shakes his head, no, and you are saddened.

Meanwhile, the once cloudless night sky becomes covered in several black clouds. A clap of thunder echoes across the shores as rain swiftly falls from the skies. Shunk sighs, annoyed, as you quickly recall Goku and Mastermind to keep them safe.

Swanna and Frost return to your side; Swanna has some words for you though--


Shunk shakes his head approvingly. He might know something about this...

Shunt stands at the edge, breathing in and out heavily for a few moments, just waiting for the foe to make himself shown.

You sigh, ready to give up until Shunt starts stammering at the water! The ocean waves get fiercer and fiercer as something incredibly large emerges from them:

Airship, provide us some cover using a wide-spread Hypnosis to knock those birds out of the way. If they still keep up, impede them with a wide-spread Icy Wind to freeze up their wings. If you can, also gather up some Tailwind so we can escape them faster.

Bulbasaur spares no speed and charges brilliantly at the small pidgey, slamming its tiny frame to the floor. Pidgey shakes off the attack and pulls itself together long enough to respond in kind. This goes on for two more times until Pidgey hits the ground -- defeated.

Wild PIDGEY fainted. BULBASAUR gained 30 EXP. BULBASAUR leveled up!

Round ONE SIXTY-SIX
THE INCREDIBLE TOED
Masashi Hamauzu - Challenge

You summon Frost and Mastermind into the field quickly to level the playing field. Mastermind adapts to the situation wonderfully by raining down a powerful surge of electricity as Frost yawns deeply -- motioning for the large Toed to do the same. The Toed shakes it off and stares deeply in Frost's eyes for a moment and she easily slips into a soothing sleep.

Mastermind chirps, locking onto the opponent precisely while Frost just sleeps. Toed smirks wildly before slapping Frost fiercely. The sheer force of the slap pulls her out of her sleep quite easily, dealing incredible damage along the way.

Mastermind gets revenge, however, by frying the Toed with a fiercely inaccurate (but effective) blast of lightning that paralyzes the Toed instantly. Frost responds as well, poisoning him while he is unable to move.

Round SEVENTY-FOUR
Airship is called out quickly to slow the two fierce birdmon down while Ca whips up a speedy tailwind to do the opposite to your team. Unfortunately, neither bird takes the hypnotic bait and their resolve only becomes strengthened as swellow creates his own tailwind to catch up.

Airship is about to call for an icy wind -- but a blade of lightning crashes down upon Staraptor and fells him, leaving you a little confused. A second one comes down seconds later for Swellow, but he manages to sidewing it quickly enough to evade.

What's happening!?

I have a feeling I know who struck at those Pokemon. Quick, Ca and Airship, keep your eyes peeled for another electric Pokemon that may be flying around here.

If he tries attacking us, Airship you're our only defense. Dodge any attacks sent your way with some fancy Acrobatics and retaliate back with a couple of Shadow Balls.

Ca, keep summoning a Tailwind to help us escape this new possible threat a little faster.
