Muscavado slammed into the ground multiple times before the round even started for a second! Extremespeed Dratini are not to be messed with! Mus cried out in annoyance, a horrible sound that left Cicero tormented with thoughts of sadness.

Cicero tried to muster up some more speed, but he was tapped out for the moment. That gave Mus a point of relaxation. Well, Paralysis isn't relaxation, but still.

Cicero still didn't have anything in the tank, but Mus did. With nothing to lose, he throws himself into Cicero's prone body. Cicero growls, biding his time.

Muscavado continued to try all of Cicero's patience, now by using its rounded body to try and edge Cicero into a corner so he could batter the serpent repeatedly. This was responded to in kind by a nasty tail flick that created a waft of superheated steam once Cicero's tail made contact wit the hot body of Mus.

Before Mus could land a final blow, Cicero blasted forward and knocks the fire type back with a coiled slam.

Cicero doesn't play! The instant Razor's new fighter jumps on the lot, there's an Thunder Wave rippling right for it. Kappa doesn't instantly notice it, as it's still forming. The red glow fades, and the crackle is heard, and Lotad freezes there for a moment, confused. Did Scotty beam him down correctly?

Having a blissful moment of success, Cicero smirks as Kappa snaps his vision to the offensive dopeydragon, and rails off an Ice Beam that would make you wonder where he's getting the 'roids. Cicero rolls backwards and flattens out, shivering.

His speed should be pretty low right now, so get in a quick Taunt before he uses Leech Seed. After that, go with Sludge Bomb. Finish by using Faint Attack to evade the Scald and then strike.

Kappa hops around for a few seconds, as Oslo's next Pokemon materializes. It doesn't take too long before the red halo vanishes and the small but sturdy form appears. Its massive mouth opens in a yawn, then snaps a few times in a row.

Kappa is taken back by all the sounds this thing is producing, and gets a little perturbed. One-because its a bit intimidating, and two-its calling him a poor mans Poliwag! That's just rude, we're not even the same species.

C: -3E ~~~ K: Tnt, -Atk

Well, this was not boding well. Taunted, paralyzed and weakened? Kappa sat down and was forced to re-evaluate its worth as Colgate now spat on him! Jeezus, talk about morale breaking. I feel bad for the kappa kappa..

Not too bad though, cause there seemed to be a resolve that was building back up. Kappa threw a half hearted Scalding spray at Colgate. But Colgate was gone! In a flash of black-Kappa was on his back, hurting from that steel like strike!

Colgate definitively has the jump on Kappa, but this battle is far from over.

Kappa hops to it, and how. With the weather a calm breezy day, it digs deep inside itself and finds a link to the spirit of the land. Colgate doesn't notice, as he bends the steel jaws around and forces their own prowess to increase.

Maybe he shoulda taken notice. Because now a triple sphere of fury connected with the Mawile. The sting of electricity, followed by the chill of ice and then the heat of flame all encapsulated in one blast. A nasty combination.

Kappa felt better after that, and breathed a sigh of relief. Little soon for that, don't you think? Specially since souped up steelhead over here just Megakicked you in the FACE!

Err... wait. Kappa is stuck to Colgate's face. It flounders around and twists it's body hard enough to flip the small fighter on his back! Ouch!

Man, that was an equalizing round. Colgate stands back up, holding his head. Kappa rolls over and shakes off any debris in its dish, only to feel the swift sting of paralysis. Sooo close! Colgate grins and bites down on the hapless lilytoad, injecting a nice stream of poison into its bloodstream! (-3)

The weather is going to play a deciding factor in this round! With no reservation, Kappa begins to dance about, calling upon the rain to help with its dilemma. But right as the storm clouds roll in, a piercing blast of sunlight sines through, and begins to spread, as Colgate finishes his dance of the sun.

Kappa is not perturbed, he still has something for that metal midgit.

Both Pokemon hopped back and began calling upon a ginormous amount of solar energy. All at once, the heavens seemed to erupted with Judgment blasts of Solarbeams, slamming the two into the ground.

Won't lie though, Kappa's seemed a bit more intense.

C: -10E/-8H ~~~ K: -9E/-12H

Kappa got up first and began changing another Solarbeam. Colgate had enough time to light up and send a stream of fire his way. Though the flame intensity was a bit more than usual, it still didn't compare to the railing strike of a second Solarbeam.

The poison stings a little more... (-3)

Hi sun. Yer still here. It feels nice. Kappa likes it. But what does Kappa not like? Colgate. Colgate sucks, always trying to show off its pearly teeth. So Kappa spits weeds at Colgate. Colgate ignores them, even as two wrap kinda tight around his arms. Colgate makes a squishy noise, and just sits there. (-/+1)

Good! Now maybe that health problem can be equalized. Well, it would also help if you could move Kappa. That whole paralysis thing is still an issue. Colgate-relieved that he can make a move unobstructed, opts to just spit up all over Kappa. Man, go get that checked out. (-/+1)

Still seemingly reeling from instarigormortis-Kappa watches Colgate swing his head back and forth, that wagging mouth releasing a dark swath of energy that clubbed the side of his body. It woke him from his stiff poise, and boy did Kappa take advantage of the fast fleeting sun. A screaming ball of fiery mess came for Colgate.

Let's recap here. Kappa, little grass/water duck thing, just spat out a hellion. A hellion that left Colgate whimpering like a burnt Spring Breaker after too many mai tais in Tijuana. (-/+1)

RL awaits his next Pokemon to join us as Colgate takes center stage. It isn't long before a strange bat comes careening down from the heavens and tries to take off Colgate's head. The Mawile ducks, but quickly regrets that decision. The heated air following the swooping animal was virtually impossible to deal with. it was getting hotter every second. By the time it passed, Colgate looked a bit warped, but he was glowing.

So much in fact, that he leapt at Hickey ans threw a massive tonnage of energy out. It slammed the flier hard enough to knock him to the ground! (-/+1)

Well, talk about a start to a match, getting hit by a ton of bricks like that! But it wasn't going to be the end for Hick, no no no. He flapped back up and...was punched across the face. Spinning like a top, he refocused that inertial and cast off a whipping green sphere that wrapped around and smacked Colgate in the front of its face! Colgate winced, and fell over-dazed and confused. (-/+1)

Up next is Mittens for Oslo's underused crew, and boy this ones going to be heavy hitter. He steps out and assumes the sumo pose, ready to attack. Hickey is completely oblivious, and is still just fluttering around, relaxing. Even as the strike comes from that rapid arm thrust..Hickey just kinda takes it and chills.

M: -3E ~~~ H: -4H

That leaves Mittens no choice. He begins slapping his rotund belleh in an attempt to look more menacing. It might be working, I don't know. But I do know that Hickey is now fully interested, and seems to actually be undergoing a mimicry of the effects of this move.

M: -6E Max Atk/Min Def ~~~ H: -5E Max Atk/Min Def

That's bad. That's really bad. Mittens doesn't even know how bad it is. He tries to be quick and attack, but Hickey is fast, and slams into that gut. That heavily weakened unfocused gut. Mittens doubles over, but pulls it together and strikes back with a crackling fist of fury that leaves the flier on the ground, stunned.

Mittens was way too relaxed. I'm not used to seeing Hariyama's just letting it all hang out, but here Mittens was, slobbing up the place. Hickey tried to take advantage of the slower fighter, using the air to slash him all around!

Mittens took the hit, as painful as it was, and then...kinda just stared for a minute. I'm not even sure it knows what it's do-oh. The stones that were falling. That's what we're waiting for. Ouch. Even with its ability, I'm pretty sure that hurt.

M: -4E/-22H ~~~ H: -5E/-30H

Hickey flies back up, realizing that maybe ignoring all the opponents prowess isn't the best when you can't really block anything. So it tries to be all cute, and flies around, showing off its bumbly side. Mittens however, seems to do nothing again. Before Hickey flies in to possibly rip Mitten's face apart, those stones fall again. Hickey is battered down, but Hickey manages to latch on and bite Mittens a few times before the stones did her in. Mittens stepped backwards, falling over in pain; extraordinary.

Mittens is still here. I find that a bit of a problem for Magnum, but hell, I've also seen comebacks of a severely epic nature. Magnum tries to live up to that by quickly dousing the fighter with a thick gel. I would think its honey, but child, that isn't honey. That be poison. Mittens knows this too, and uppercuts the bug with a hellion of a Shooryuuken. Jee that's going to leave a MARK!

M: -3E Txc ~~~ LM: -3E/-21H

Lapuna crashes and burns pretty bad. But that bug has more than enough juice left to outlast Mittens. At least, we hope so, or this match is going to be over pretty fast. As Mittens stomps over, the beast is stopped by a mental buzzing, a gnashing blood boil that makes him grab his head in agony. One hand chills up to try and calm the fever, as well as try to crash down on the still smoldering beecorpse.

Magnum commits to the buzzing, and its enough to bring down the beast. Damned lucky too, cause that last punch may have ended that poor bug. oH WAIT oh crap! Yeah that's an electrifying strike. Jeezus we need a clean up on aisles 1-12

First level of Poison strikes...and that cripples the massive fighter. Lucky. Now can Lapuna do that two more times...
