:/ Hate to say it....but I'm not liking a single Pokemon of this gen so far :/. Not a single one is appealing to me.

I'm not even saying this from a strategic point of view. From what's been revealed, I have no real excitement toward the starters (I'm still going Grass cause that's what I do)..I will get a fire one and name it Swift XD and uhhh everyone else released is all eh

that dark/dragon/flying thing is meh Noivern? Everything is like vomit cute.

*Looks over list* Wtf is that, Krabby part 2? No. Ew. And Skrelp is interesting, but not really. Yeah nothing's making me go "OH YEAH I WANNA USE THAT DUDE!" And hoo my god Talonflame looks lame. If THAT'S the standard bird of the game though....I'ma be sad 'cause its not a three stager. But then again, Gen III did that shit to me too :/

I don't particularly care about any of the 6th generation Pokemon yet either...I suppose I may develop an interest in one or more of them once we have some moveset information or something, basically I'll choose a Pokemon in this upcoming generation if its moveset looks like something I can make some really good use of.

Weird.. Skrelp is the only one i dont like. The starters are awesome (going for the grass type.. i think) cuz i want the fire bird, and Noviern is soooo sick. I like the bug 3 stager of this game alot, and the lion better have really cool evolutions. I am very excited for this generation.

Gen 3 has and always will be my favorite. Its where I started ya know? Like My first wasnt Charizard, or Feraligat, it was Sceptile. Dont get me wrong, 1st and 2nd gen are amazing. But 3rd will always be closer to my heart. 4th i loved mainly because of the upgrade in many different aspects of the game, wich is what im assuming alot of people loved about the 3rd generation. I despise 5th gen with a burning passion. hated everything about it. 6th generation is coming in a hot 2nd place so far, and i havent even seen everything. I am very excited

I have liked all the generations equally, eventhough note I watched Hoenn season in a bad mental condition.

I don't mind the developers making new Pokemon, Types, regions, you name it, I mean, if they shouldn't do that, they should have stopped alteady after Gen I. No Marill, no Pichu, no Lugia.

DL, I was just wondering, what do you think of the new moves that will probably come out when X and Y are released. TPM ASB Movelist will need some heavy extending! One possibility would be to limit the moves to the previous generations in the battle rules, but that would be only for the beginning and can't go on forever.

What happens if there is a Gardevoir vs Dragonair battle going on on October? Will the type change take effect midair?

I think all changes will be implemented on Oct 12th and any battles starting thereafter will have the most recent current generation changes, unless stated otherwise by the creator of the match, but matches starting previous to the date will not have those changes implemented, unless sanctioned by current participants.

That should be the most reasonable way to go about things, but then again, the mods are craaaaaaaaazy.

Also, since this'll be on the 3DS, we won't get a simple data rip we've had on all games previous, so we need to find out what moves there are, what Pokemon there will be, new changes to current moves and Pokemon. And that information will come slower then normal, since we can't (yet) easily hack a 3DS and get to the juicy insides. We might not even know of all the Pokemon, moves or locations, unless revealed by moral crushing DLC.

Isn't there usually a copy that leaks into the net before the release date? Correct me if I'm wrong. And yes, I'm aware that Japan gets the game at the same date as other countries do, at least if everything goes according to the plan.

Yep, I was totally not playing the Japanese version of Black 2 the day before release date in JP on my laptop. Don't be absurd. This time, though, it'll be harder to get a copy everyone can get through the internet since there's no real 3DS emulation (that I know of) and you can't get an earlier release of the game through another country because of region locking. So we'll be stuck with the EU version. It's possible the game will be released in some areas earlier then others, but only by a few hours at most. Then I will lose myself to the world for the next few days as I unlock all the secrets this game holds.
