So, you remember when I said I was in the hospital? No... Did I not post that?

Well, I was in the hospital. Pains in my chest under my ribs.

Turns out, I have a Gallbladder infection. And stones. And some of the stones shattered. Which is what was causing the pain.

So yeah. I have been in pain. A LOT!

Also, I worked 55 hours last week over 6 days, so I didn't really have time to get on and post.... ANYTHING.

But I am kinda here a little bit this week.

For those who preordered X and Y, if you preordered Y, then you just missed out on Mega Charizard X... only available in the X version. Yeah... pre ordering sucks.

You DO realize that pre ordering is a bane on the game industry... right? So if I don't preorder certain stuff in the game isn't unlocked for me? That's as stupid as the tomb raider game where the only way you could access a dungeon THAT WAS IN THE BLOODY GAME MIND YOU, was by preordering.

We've gotten to the point that we pre order to get stealth armor in game. Anyone here forget that aliens fiasco? You know, the one where you ordered a game and it was a GIGANTIC flop, or how about rome 2 now? Even from a studio that gives out good games suddenly making a horrendous game, but in terms of sales they succeed their goal! Ya for them! *Sarcastic smile*

You still get the game, so why preorder? That's right, to get rewards in game! Sonic the lost worlds... you can preorder and guess what!? You get lives... FOR FREE! No wait.. that's your preordering bonus! *Nods enthusiastically* Just give money to a game you are not sure if you will like or will suck and complain about it later! Hehe, doesn't matter, the developers don't care if it sucks cause they already got your money! Yay!

I uh... Don't really see the point of your rant there. Not when it comes to Pokemon. I preordered X, but that was just cos I wanted that version. I've avoided announcements and spoilers (fuck you Italy and Canada!) like the plague. I just want to enjoy the games damnit! D:

Sometimes preordering is defo worth it. If I had a ps3 back when FF14 A Realm Reborn came out, I would have preorders the collector's edition. Can't get it now. It's so pretty. I'm glad I have the game though.

Eh... I've just had bad times with preordering. Some games I thought would be totally awesome ended up being... eh, not that good. I guess I've just had a different consumer experience. I've seen the really rotten side of preordering, so I tend to stay away from it.

I'm also pre ordering for the Pokeball case, that thing's adorable! Also, over the past few days I learned a whole new respect for those people trying to avoid X and Y spoilers; I've been trying to avoid the starters' evolutions and it is SO DAMN DIFFICULT! Especially on sites like Tumblr and Deviantart, just wow... That takes dedication.

It does. It's super hard to avoid now, and even sites like 4chan are uploading pictures from the actual games! Yeah, customers bribed video game stores to give them the games early and I say in a week the pictures will be flooding everywhere. Not to mention all the leaks that have come out.

It wasn't a bribe, from what I've heard there was a shipping error and certain stores were told to put the games on the shelves on the 1st of October; which is where the majority of people got early copies from (this happened in Italy and Canada, don't know which stores it was or anything), and now Nintendo are VEEERY unhappy about it.

on the topic of preorders, I'm ok if the preorder bonus is something like a shiny or special move poke or even a bit of exclusive merchandise but not a one of a kind poke like mega charizard

I really don't care about spoilers or anything at this point. Its friggin 9 more days to go until the game is officially released and we STILL don't have a final roster of all the new Pokemon in the game! I wasn't paying any attention for Black and White but I don't recall them ever being this delayed in releasing the final roster this close to the release day.

Anyone mind correcting me on this?

Perfect Chaos, I'm not sure if we're talking of the same thing now, but when Black and White came out they were already released in Japan some months earlier so that's why we knew all the new Pokemon.

If ASB X/Y giveaway starts on 2013/10/12, worldwide release date, we won't even be able to use the Pokemon right away in battles because I don't think there's a way to know all the moves the Pokemon will have. But correct me if I'm wrong too.

@Perfect Chaos Mikachu is right. Before it was where the games were released in Japan first. By the time these games come out *officially* I can only assume that it'll take at least a week to get the data from the games and translate it into sections such as here for battling.

Welcome to my dilemma. Im literally going to be speed writing up every new move, ability and Pokemon along with all the speed gamers to keep us current from the 12 thru the 15th.

Pre ordering is no. Not for mega evolution anything. Mega x makes no sense. It's a shiny tardizard? Ha no, no thank you sir. Gimme my base copies and I'll go from there.
