Welcome, everyone, to the last tournament of 2014, where mysterious mega-evolved pokémon can battle one another so we can find out which one is the best. The first round combatants -- Oslo and Perfect Chaos -- release their first pokémon simultaneously, revealing Polkaroo and Phantom, respectively. The two pokémon eye one another down as the whistle blows, signaling the start of the battle!

Polkaroo begins the battle by mustering up a heavy amount of health to create a massive substitute. However, as she's building it, Phantom begins to insult her child. That shit won't fly here!, but Polkaroo really wants to nail that sub. Instead of giving into the ghost's taunts, she casts a veil of protection to mute her opponent and continues to build.

As the veil diminishes, Oslo gives Polkaroo the signal to channel her energy and active her mega stone. A sphere of light engulfs the massive pokémon as her cub leaps out of her pouch and takes battle formation! Mega Evolution complete. Phantom is not impressed, however. He snaps his fingers and hypnotizes the scrappy young cub into joining his own side, leaving Polkaroo without a child! What sorcery is this!?
