Well, still waiting for some of my new Pogeys to be approved in the in the tower but still, getting that fire back for battling.

Let's make it a standard 3 on 3 (Single Battle), No DQ, No Damage Cap, No Banned Moves.

The arena will be Final Destination from Super Smash Bros. (obviously with this version as the theme music).

Gemini's my male Sableye, and his ability is Prankster (I changed it during the XY giveaway, as you may have seen).

Anyway, I'll decide on my moves a little later.

BTW, is it just my imagination, or does your Totodile share the same name with Greyfox's Blastoise? I'm quite certain I've seen that name before.

Okay Gemini, time to start. First, I want you to catch your opponent with a fast Fake Out, then use Confuse Ray until successful. If you have an action left and Leviathan is confused, send him flying with a powerful Hex!

As for subs, be ready to Snatch anything Snatch-able or Magic Coat anything Magic Coat-able, or, if he decides to use a combo of two or more damaging moves, use Metal Burst!

Edit: Drat, Gemini can't use Hex unless he is tutored the move...oh well, I'll make a note of that to tutor him the move at some point in the future when I can. I guess for now I'll have to make up for my booboo later.

LEVIATHAN CFN -3 HP CFN		Leviathan prepares to use a speedy Aqua Jet to ward off Gemini's next attack. However, the Sableye proves to be the swifter Pokemon, thanks to his Prankster ability and slightly superior base Speed, allowing him to shoot off a dazzling blast of light before Leviathan can act. Don't let your mind get confuzzled Leviathan! Let's start off by returning the favor back to Gemini by shooting a pulsing blast of water that will hopefully confuse him as well. Next, hit him with a pressurized blast of water to really lay the smackdown on him and finish off by shooting boiling hot water to hopefully score a burn on him as well.

He watches as Gemini snaps his fingers and causes a Rhydon plushie to materialize out of nowhere. It's been imbued with an insane amount of hit points, but Leviathan doesn't realize this. He thinks the Substitute is the real thing. The Totodile attacks with a spiraling jet of water, which, all things considered, doesn't do a whole lot.		GEMINI -40 HP -8 EP SUB: 32 HP

LEVIATHAN -17 HP -10 EP		Time for Gemini to prove exactly how much of a conniving so-and-so he really is. He forms an invisible conduit that connects him to his opponent and begins sipping on the little gator's health. Delicious! The two Pokemon wind up on even footing yet again as Leviathan all but explodes with a tremendous torrent of water. The Substitute is thrown way up into the air before falling back to the ground in a big wet heap. Poor little guy is gonna get all mildewy!		GEMINI +17 HP -15 EP SUB: 18 HP

LEVIATHAN -6 EP TXC		Gemini keeps playing his little Status game. He vomits out a purple blob that sails across the arena and gets Leviathan right in the face. It looks like Grimace delivered him a money shot right to the kisser. The Toxic seeps under Leviathan's scales as he retaliates with a third blast of water. This one is hot and steamy, but the effect isn't anything to write home about.		GEMINI -8 EP SUB: 8 HP

I'm not sure what looks like to Dig under the surface of Final Destination, but I'm sure it's pretty down there.		GEMINI -4 EP

LEVIATHAN -13 HP -3 EP		Gemini's abdomen ruby starts to glow yellow once again, but the Sableye waits until his foe emerges before doing anything. Sure enough, the ground under Gemini starts to rumble as Leviathan bursts upward, flailing his limbs violently. Gemini is sent flying; as he descends, he releases hsi Shock Wave, which toasts Leviathan nicely. Smells like chicken.		GEMINI -8 HP -4 EP

LEVIATHAN -39 HP -8 EP TORRENT		Going into the fourth round, both Pokemon are dead even in terms of combined HP and EP, so it will be interesting to see if one of them can pull ahead. Gemini seems like he's up for the challenge as he combines three sizzling strikes into one colossal blast. Struck by the blinding attack, Leviathan is launched clear off his feet and nearly flies out of the arena altogether, but manages to latch onto Final Destination's edge with his sizable jowls. Thoroughly roasted, he feebly climbs back up and retaliates with an smack of his silvery tail. Gemini's Defence drops. It's a nice consolation, but Leviathan needs more than a nice consolation at this point if he wants to make a comeback. Oh, and look at that: Leviathan is starting to glow blue, just like... uh... a thing... that glows blue. Um. That weird dagger thing from Lord of the Rings? Yeah. That.		GEMINI -10 HP -12 EP -1 DEF

LEVIATHAN -6 EP		Having expended all of his available actions, Gemini can only look on as Leviathan keeps up his all-out assault. He huffs and puffs and vomits out a steamy deluge of water, which leaves Gemini feeling like he just took a bubble bath from hell. His skin (not that he has skin, but go with it) begins to sting and redden as a Burn materializes... and whaddya know, he's all out of Burn Heal. ffs.		GEMINI -12 HP BRN

LEVIATHAN -8 EP		As the round comes to a close, Leviathan fires off a humming Ice Beam. It hits its target, but because Gemini is still pretty toasty from that Scald, the attack doesn't do quite as much as it could have done. So it goes, my little alligator friend.		GEMINI -7 HP

LEVIATHAN [-7 HP] is throttled by the venom running through his veins, while GEMINI [-2 HP] gets his first taste of Burnination.

With a flash of light, a little flame-tailed lizard scurries into battle. Gemini gets a jump on the little critter by locking onto her with Pain Split. He begins drawing health her way. Surprised by what's happening, Tiamat tries to waylay the Sableye's attack with a swift blast of hot air. In the end, it doesn't stop Gemini's attack. Jeebuz. Poor Tiamat. That was a lot of health to lose.		GEMINI +41 HP -12 HP -15 EP

TIAMAT -8 EP TXC		Things only get worse for poor Tiamat, who ends up taking a sticky glob of gunk to the face. She suffers immediate Toxic poisoning. That's a bummer. She fights back by breathing hot flames all over her opponent, who seems to be taking the barbecue treatment quite well.		GEMINI -12 HP -8 EP

Alright Gemini, I think Tiamat definitely got the point that trying to burn you up could potentially backfire in her face.

But, our work's still not done, so let's try and see if we can get some more damage on the Charmander before you're downed.

Keep at it with a barrage of Power Gems, but be ready to Snatch anything you can take away from Tiamat (not Rest though, if Tiamat tries that, give her a Taunting) or Magic Coat anything you can reflect back in her direction. As long as one of those Power Gems hits, Gemini, we're good.

Magneto is my male Nosepass, and despite the name I gave him, his ability isn't Magnet Pull, it's Sturdy.

Magneto, use Magic Coat immediately so that she ends up attracted to you (and not the other way around), then get as close to her as you can so that you can give her a shocking "kiss" (aka a Zap Cannon from extremely close range), finally, use Stone Edge and send her flying!

Edit: I just remembered you gave me Magneto at last year's Summer Tree, Perfect Chaos. So now, I guess you could say I'm thanking you properly here by letting you see him in battle against one of your Pokemon.

I thought Attract would be reflected back, just like in the games! I just cannot understand why it wasn't reflected here. Until I hear otherwise from DarkestLight, Greyfox, or Ayeun, I just cannot believe that really happened.

I'll post my next moves when the confusion here is cleared up, because right now, I'm seeing stars that won't easily go away.

Hrm. You might be right. I could have sworn you added exceptions like Attract and Leech Seed and whtvr for the purpose of nerfing Magic Coat, but my lazy Googling isn't leading me to any concrete posts that prove that fact. So idk. :3 Oslo might be making shit up.

In that case, I'm fine fixing the reffing so that Magic Coat works just like it does in the games. I can get to it tomorrow night. Apologies to KoT for apparently causing you stroke symptoms. I do have a request, though. My Googling has shown that there have been numerous little squabbles about Magic Coat over the years. Since the Movelist entry for Magic Coat is a bit all over the place and there are so many nuances to communicate, can we just replace it with a one-sentence explanation of how the move works and then link to Bulbapedia's Magic Coat entry for further clarification? (Unless you actually do want to add some nerfs, in which case nvm.)
