15 years!
15 years ago today, a 15 year old me registered at TPM!! I still remember it like it was yesterday... its weird, in some ways it seems like yesterday and some ways it seems like it has been forever. I know I don't post here a ton these days, but this place has always been and always will be my online home... haha and to think that when I registered I had no real intention of staying... I was just looking for a way to find Heracross in Pokemon Gold...and TPM was the first result in whatever I used as Google back then... yahoo maybe? So... yeah I figured I would get my answer and be on my way... but something about this place... I couldn't forget about it! And I am so glad that I did come back!! I never would have dreamt that an online community would be such an important part of my life... I would do anything to spend a day as 15 year old me again on one of the crazy days on the GS Help forum. You all have meant so much to me, and to all of my old TPM friends that I don't know what happened to you... I hope that somehow, someday you read this, and know how special you are to me, I think of you guys all the time, and I hope that life has been wonderful for you and I hope you come back and say hi!! And to everyone else here... thanks!! Whether we are close friends or barely know each other, you are all part of this wonderful community that always has and always will hold a special place in my heart!! I hope that somehow, someway, and I have been important to this place too, I hope that I made it better!! It's funny to think... sometimes the best things in life... just happen, without trying. Haha Its weird November 6th is like my own little holiday... oh and happy anniversary to you to, Suzie/little_pikachu!! And... here's to 15 more years at TPM... November 6, 2030! On second thought... let's not think that far ahead... I really will be old then!

I've been here for over 15 years too, but I was older when I joined, so let's hope TPM sticks around for at least another 6 years so I can say the same.
Interestingly, your experiences were quite similar to mine. I, too, ended up here while looking for help with Pokemon Gold. I then started checking the GS forum and then talking to people, and then I joined some RPGs, and later moved on to PCG and, once the Dragon's Guild began, TPM ceased to be just another website to visit sometimes and became an important part of my life. I, too, made many friends here, and I've been missing the ones who left a lot these days, especially since I've been unburying a lot of the AC/CC history for my Battle Range stories. I hope some of them do show up again. Either way, I'm really grateful for those who are still here. Please keep posting so we can stay in touch and TPM can continue being the great comunity we know and love.

Congratulations Christen! It's nice to have you among all of us who have been here for 15 years (present company included, but not excluding the time in 2004 when I wasn't here).
And wow, just wow. I'm surprised Bulbapedia has information about TPM...I've known about Bulbagarden's existence for years, but to see the wiki acknowledging our existence, that's just awesome.
