Hi guys,
So yeah, as some of you may have noticed, I got Super Mario Maker for Christmas (I've already talked to classy_cat18 about it, since she got the game before I did), anyway, I'm just wondering how many of you have the game as well?
Someday in the future, I may consider uploading a level or two for you guys to try (I've made 4 so far), though for now, I wish I had a little input here from any fellow players who have designed some good levels (in their opinion, anyway), please.

I'd love to play it but there's no rental places around here and I don't have a spare $60 to throw away.
Sigh...
Just how do you get to make Super Mario Bros. 3 levels? That was my first and favourite Mario game ever. Also, is Hammer Mario available there?
You have to unlock the Super Mario Bros. 3 style; it isn't available at the start of the game. There is a quick way to unlock stuff and get them delivered much earlier, but it's a little too complicated to explain here Mikachu, so I'll send you a link.
As for Hammer Mario, sorry, but that form is unavailable.

Oh thanks, Kyle. And I tried Charles's levels, quite funny.
Here are three levels I decided to upload today:
Mozart's Funworld: CF39-0000-0177-4C41
Hullukooot: 5E12-0000-0177-3070
Fallen Castle: 6178-0000-0177-57F6
Hopefully they came out correctly.
EDIT: And Hullukooot is meant to stand for 'hulluko oot', Finnish for 'are you crazy'.

Well Mikachu I just tried out all three of your courses I even started two of them however one flaw that I personally found with them is there a bit trollish especially Mozart's Funworld.
Which in my opinion Mozart's Funworld relies too heavily on the music blocks and jumping skills plus there are too many enemies at the beginning that and a lack of power ups, while you do have them they are not really where you need them that and you can't even get it that one star without being crushed by the Bullet Bill Cannon.

I got it, haven't touched the game in a while now though. I bet they already deleted my maps by now.

Just uploaded my first two courses today!
Koopa Troopa Tunnel: 5DEA-0000-018F-030C
My first level. I had always wanted a warp pipe themed level in Super Mario World, so that's what I started working on almost as soon as I got the game. Later on, I added a bunch of Koopa Troopas throughout the level to give it more of a theme, and a name. Starts out easy enough but gets a bit dicey towards the end, especially in the underwater sections. It helps to find the shortcut.
Hot Cold Castle: A6C6-0000-018F-058B
A castle level where the warp pipes take you to a underground subworld with the same layout as the castle. The castle is fire themed, while the subwold is ice themed with some differences in obstacles, leading to situations where you have to switch back and forth between the two worlds to get to the end. Kinda has a Zeldaesque Light World/Dark World feel to it. This one also has a bit of a shortcut, but it doesn't skip any tricky sections, it's more of a speedrun tactic.

I played and beat both of your levels today, Jeff. Very well done on both of them. It wasn't easy finding the goals in either, especially in the Castle one.
I made several levels myself.
SMW rather easy: 9B4C-0000-006C-8DD4
As the unoriginal name suggests it's a rather simple SMW level. Straight forward.
Wooden Yamato: 201D-0000-004A-FC93
A difficult SMB3 level that features a wooden rendition of the WW2 ship Yamato.
Bowser's Castle: FCA1-0000-003D-6165
A straight forward SMB castle level. Not too tricky.

Some of old courses have been deleted, too. Is there some special criteria for that besides the age?
I made another level recently. Very easy compared to my first two, but I thought it was a cool concept, not to mention crazy. Here it is, the aptly named "Boing!" 5FBF-0000-01F0-3B83
