This volcanic island - previously hidden away can now be seen from the shore. A massive pool of magma lies deep in its center, but one can walk down quite a ways and find a variety of Fire types enjoying the heated tunnels. Some hardier Flying pokémon line the edges of the Volcano as well. A tall pagoda stands on the island as well, the only man-made structure here.

Elgyem gets right to work on the device and in no time at all fixes it. He creates a small protect bubble around the device and creates a clone to take care of the device.

Since the device is fixed you turn around to leave and see that Ninetales is no longer there so you leave the pagoda and see the guardians have become some kind of statues...

Blissey turns to you and asks, "Now what?

You decide to go to Ffeffni Mountain, possibly the coldest place in the Safari Zone. I don't know though, I'm just a big voice in the sky... Onward!

You recall Sabre and Elgyem grabs onto everyone and you all teleport to the outskirts of the mountain. Right away you're blasted by freezing cold air basically making you a knight-sicle.(I'm here all week folks) Anyway, you look around and see a small house with a couple trainers in front.



In front of them there's a sign that says... "FREE SNOWSUITS FOR PEOPLE EXPLORING THE MOUNTAIN"

To your right you can see a few Cubchoo and their mama Beartic

You ask to get some snowsuits, one for you and for your other pokemon.



"Of course sir! I'm going to assume you're a large? Even if you are smaller it is nice to have it be big on you so you can really be warm. My name is Brycen by the way, nice to meet you!" He puts his hand out to shake yours, you shake hands as he tells you, "I was a gym leader over in the Unova region, but since I've retired I figured I would help out others in the Safari Zone, it is the job of a Gym Leader to help the people!"

You try on the snowsuit and see that it is a perfect fit. Brycen comes back from putting the snowsuits on all the pokemon. Everyone waddles out and Blissey looks very happy to go exploring again.



"If I may ask, why have you decided to come here? We almost never see trainers here unless they are looking for Articuno or another very strong Ice type pokemon. If you are looking for anything I can assist you in anyway possible" Brycen says with a smile on his face...

"Well Mr. Brycen, KOT and I are adventuring around the Safari Zone to special locations to find these devices that the Exire Location Finder Building, or E.L.F.B. for short, uses to find Exire. Two of these devices are broken so we're going around trying to find all of them to make sure they're in working condition so KOT here can find Exire." Brycen looks at Blissey then just nods his head and goes behind the counter to the cabinet. He opens the doors to the cabinet and pulls out a small device.



"Alright Knight of Time. You may see it, but I'm assuming you are going to Exire and need to be as strong as you can be. We will battle and I will be using a rare, never before seen Pokemon." Elgyem grabs the device and gets to work on it. You nod your head and everyone heads outside.

Brycen releases his pokemon and what you see is very shocking.

This thing looks like a hybrid of a Dragonite and some other Pokemon...no matter, I accept the challenge.

Sabre, this thing should be weak to Ice, so let's blast it with some Ice Beams. Be ready though to Snatch anything beneficial (except Rest) or Magic Coat anything applicable if necessary.

~ Round 59 ~

Assuming that Brycen's Pokemon is weak to Ice, you tell Sabre to use Ice Beam. Sabre sends out a fine beam of ice that's sure to freeze the dragon... Except it didn't because it's also an Ice type. You look closer and see clearly that the head of this Dragonite is Articuno's head! This "Articnite" throws a ball of fighting energy at Sabre, hitting him right in the face.

Articnite starts to hock up a purple loogy and spits it at Sabre but Sabre is quick to throw up some special shiny coat to send it back at Articnite. The loogy bursts on Articnite and seeps into it's skin. Articnite looks like it's come down with some nasty cold.

Sabre blasts another Ice Beam at Articnite and hits it straight in the belly. Articnite doubles over clearly hurt, to retaliate, she pounds the ground making Sabre feel slow.

Articnite starts to try to run (fly?) circles around Sabre but falls on it's face as Sabre runs circles around it getting faster and faster.

Sabre uses his new found speed to throw down his rain of rocks. Before getting buried by too many rocks to count Articnite sends out a twister. Sabre gets swept up in the twister as Articnite climbs out from under the rocks. Sabre falls out of the twister but lands on his feet, still hurt, but he lands gracefully.

Sabre rains down the runder(rock+thunder)!!! Articnite climbs out of the rocks calmly before snapping and running up to Sabre and hitting him really hard, clearly enraged by all the rocks that Sabre has thrown at him this round.
