Hard: Jynx was polishing Santa's boot while sitting on some ice and it separated from the mainland. Ash and co. find jynx on a beach and return it by using water pokemon to pull a raft that everyone can travel on. A lapras pops up later and takes them the rest of the way.

if you mean the Pewter city gym battle, then here it is:

Brock sends out Onix as the 2 on 2 battle between Ash and Brock begins. Ash chooses Pikachu, who gets scared of the big-rock pokemon. Pikachus manages to dodge Onix's tackle, but is binded by Onix's hard body. Ash orders a thundershock but it fails ofcourse. Ash tries to call Pikachu back, but Pikachu is stuck by Onix's bind attack. Then Ash loses hope and surrenders.

Rematch:

Ash starts with Pidgeotto as Brock uses Geudude. Ash tells Pidgetto to use gust, but is dissapointed when he knows that Flying types are weak against Rock. So, he recalls Pidgeotto and sends out Pikachu. Pikachu faints Guedude by a powerful Thundershock, even shocking Misty and Brock! Then, Brock uses Onix, who scares Pikachu once again. Pikachu uses another Thundershock but the attack doesn't hit Onix, instead it do a lot of damage to the Gym Building. Then, Onix uses bind at Pikachu, while Pikachu counters with a Thunderbolt. The attack works, but Pikachu can't attack while its being binded by Onix. Pikachu is almost fainted when Brock calls Onix to leave Pikachu and tells Ash that he doesn't really wanna hurt Pikachu. Ash is about to surrender when suddenly water sprinklers start up from the fire caused by Pikachu's missed electric attacks. The water weakens Onix and Ash tells Pikachu to use Thundershock when Onix is soaking wet! The attack does a lot of damage, fainting Onix! Then Brock returns Onix, and then Ash leaves the gym. Brock tries to stop him but Ash says that he didn't won fair and square, and it was all the water that caused Onix to faint...

But later, Ash receives his Boulder badge from Brock, who says that Ash earned it by being so kind to his pokemon.........

Bah, the medium isn't really a fair question as we don't know if Misty recieved or caught her first 3 Pokemon. Assuming she did and assuming Misty didn't actually catch Togepi, she only recieved it, then here we go...

Well, I'm not sure if you intended to interrupt us, it's really possible you got "quiz" and "FAQ" mixed up. Next time, if you have a question, post it in Hanada's sticky "FAQ" thread here. I'll just answer this question for now.... since it would kinda be pointless:
Furret first appeared in the 3rd short, Pichu and Pikachu, but episode wise... it first appeared in "Fangs For Nothin'!".
