Thanks for the replies. I'll try to work on the description a bit more. Truthfully, I had to go back and describe things a bit more when I was originally writing that chapter... I tend to omit things that I can see in my mind, as I forget that the people reading have to be told what I'm thinking. ^_^;; I'll try and keep it in check. Also, the next chapter should be longer. I'm not sure when it will be finished however, since I'm taking summer classes I don't have a lot of free time. I'll work on it when I can, and hopefully chapter 2 will be up before the weekend.

As for the plot, what you know so far may seem like a big thing... but it's only a part of the whole. I can't really explain, since that would ruin the surprise. But don't worry, I haven't given away everything in the beginning.
