Hard: Brock gave Vulpix back because her old trainer wanted to make the best beauty shop around, and Brock knew Vulpix would be better off. He even said that he was only borrowing Vulpix in the first place.

Actually, wouldn't the hard question answer be this...

Suzie wanted Vulpix to be as beautiful and happy as it could be, so she offered Brock a chance to raise it seeing as he's a breeder. Suzie recognized Brock's talent and thought Vulpix would shine in his care.

I thought the hard question was why did Brock give Vuplix BACK, not why her trainer gave Brock Vulpix.

He wants us to wait four hours after he posts. Since LA is in Pacific time though, if you live in another time zone, the time will be different for you. (Lucky for me, I live in CA!) In other words, if he posts the question at 7:00 AM; you can start posting at 11:00 AM.

Today's began at 11:40 AM (Pacific time), 12:40 PM (Mountain time), 1:40 PM (Central time), and 2:40 PM (Eastern time). I think I did that right... Oh, and if you're in England, Australia, or another country... I can't help you. >_<

I'd say that, after Misty used Starmie and Horsea in her water show, the sisters wanted them too so they could use the two Pokemon in future productions. They also wanted Misty to stay, but she was travelling with Ash, while giving Starmie and Horsea to her sisters was the alternative.
