Sorry to break it to you, but Coneria (Spoiler:) is in the game as a classic stage, thank God. Or do you mean the music?
Don't tell me that you didn't love it.
Also, I'll probably main (Spoiler:) Marth, Starfox Clones, Captain Falcon and Pokémon Trainer
Aaand http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZE_mwpRSgSA
Oh, and apparently (Spoiler:) There are only 26 events! Which is annoying, I'd much rather have more events and a shorter 10 hour side scroller

It's funny seeing everyone complain that there "aren't enough characters". Some are so in denial that they have even speculated on how other characters can fit into the roster.
I, personally, was sold when Sonic was revealed. Throw in Lucario, who looks plain awesome from the vids I've seen, Pokemon Trainer and Olimar, who look like they'd both be fun to play as, and then, despite my acceptance that my main man Ness had been replaced with Lucas, they go and bring him back... well, I might just have to find myself a cryogenic chamber. And that's just the characters. Stage builder, SSE, co-op play on practically everything, online play, the list goes on and on, they are all going to make the wait all the more painful. 26 events does sound a bit sucky though, does that include the co-op events or is it 26 solo and 26 co-op?
That said, I'll probably be playing a lot as Kirby, Ness/Lucas, Lucario, Sonic, Pokemon Trainer, and Captian Olimar, the new ones depending on how much I like their style.

All of the events are either co-op or single player. There aren't any that are one or the other.
So it's 26 overall.
And to be honest, I'd much rather have had a shorter single player campaign for a few more additional places on the roster. 35 is a huge selection, but a few more would be nice![]()

Wow. Roster cuts, fewer events, clones, only three target tests... This game sucks.
...That's what I keep hearing around the net (Though TPM members seem far more mellow). It's funny though, before this game was even announced, don't you think people would've been willing to take those negatives for stage builder, Sonic the Hedgehog, online and 10-hour story mode? They all probably would've said hell yes. All this Dojo stuff has gotten fans far too spoiled.
EDIT: Did some little calculations (since I'm sad like that), here's some roster numbers that may or may not be correct depending on how well I calculate...
64: 11.5 unique characters (if you consider Luigi a half-clone)
Melee: 19.5 unique characters (excluding clones, Luigi a half-clone, including Sheik)
Brawl: 32.5 unique characters (excluding clones, Luigi a half-clone, including Sheik, ZSS, Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard)
However, the Brawl figure in my mind grows in unique characters, because footage has shown the clones possess differences in some of their moves. (Spoiler:) Falco throws his Reflector like a boomerang, Lucas has a couple of different moves from Ness, that, to me, makes them more akin to Luigi-like half-clones. As such...
Brawl: 35.5 unique characters.
Using that logic, the increase from Brawl to Melee (16) is twice as many as Melee to 64 (8). Interesting? Hardly!

Nobody guessed who I would main? Come on, you guys know me better than that...!
...OK, OK, to be fair, it was a bit of a trick. I actually have FOUR mains: Mario, Samus, Kirby, and Ganondorf. The first three have always been my best, and Ganondorf... Well, he's just frigging awesome. And now that he's decked out in his Twilight Princess get-up, he's better and badder than ever.
But will he still be a slower, fatter, shittier Captain Falcon clone?

Some people are arguing otherwise, but they haven't seen him in motion other than youtube videos.
Oh, when the UK version comes out, we need to get a TPM game sorted.

Shut up.
Anyone notice on today's Dojo that they'll start posting the hidden goodies on the site starting tomorrow (because the game's out in Japan)? Sweeeeeeeeet!
I know! I made the mistake of looking at IGN's "Smash Bros." forums on Tuesday ((Spoiler:) the day I learned Marth was in "Brawl"), and it nearly ruined my day.![]()
Basically, those people are acting like the girl in the following video (which was part of a viral campaign by Domino's Pizza):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzG_oHDLZdc
Fortunately, there are plenty of people who seem to be rolling with the game's disappointments and quirks ((Spoiler:) like Sakurai's apparent Landmaster fetish - LOL @ those pics DragoKnight posted, BTW) and such, like us.![]()
(Spoiler:) Speaking of the Landmaster, I wonder how long it'll be before somebody makes a fake Dojo update where the Landmaster is announced as a Playable Character (if it hasn't happened already). X-D
As for the Roster, I'll admit there were a few characters like (Spoiler:) Krystal that I thought would have been cool choices ((Spoiler:) I would have put her in over Wolf, myself), but like I already said, I'm cool with the roster we've got. (Spoiler:) The main thing with me concerning it was the question of whether Marth would return or not, and since I got him back, I'm sold on "Brawl" (when my Mom told me the good news Tuesday morning, I got downstairs as fast as I could to see for myself!).
Oh, and here's something for you guys to check out: an American guy on YouTube named "bdcool187" got a hold of the game and has been recording a BUTTLOAD of videos...check them out at the following link (but watch out for spoilers, of course!):
http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=bdcool187
I hope that's considered okay.
(Spoiler:) P.S. - Marth's Final Smash is WICKED SICK (as the announcers in "Unreal Tournament 2003/2004" would say), and Jigglypuff's new summer hat costume is very cute!

This topic is actually impossible to read. Can the people who don't want spoilers just...not click on the fucking topic please? These grey boxes are annoying as shit.

...I'm not dead yet!
(Spoiler:) I'm tempted to keep this up just to piss you off, Heald. I reckon what I'll do now though is ditch the spoilers on character info (as I have not yet seen a single person who doesn't know the roster), but put spoilers on any SSE plot points I may bring up.
Some random thoughts I've gathered...
1. Diddy Kong seems to be one of the most underpowered characters so far from video footage, he hasn't been dominating any matches. Destined for the lower tiers?
2. Marth's final smash is beasty. It's tops in speed, power and horizontal range... The only downfall it may have is a lack of vertical coverage.
3. R.O.B.'s got one hell of a jump, and looks like he can even hover like Peach? I'm glad about this, I always loved nailing floaty characters with Falco's up air.
4. Seeing vids of Falco has really started to convince me I may just keep him as my main... I don't like the samey nature of Sonic's B moves, and I'm likely too lazy to bother mastering all the aspects of the Pokemon Trainer. (Plus I'd just spam Ivysaur to high hell)
Besides, Falco's got a sweet new set of smashes and repeated A attack.
5. Krystal would have made a lot more sense than Wolf, but it's made me feel all warm and tingly to know Sakurai didn't let the Star Fox franchise killer into Smash, other than her brief cameo.
6. I'm happy the roster's actually got an alright amount of heavyweights now. Melee matches with the big boys were always kinda lame when the fourth heaviest member was Samus. Now Dedede and Charizard are in town... Rawr.

You don't need to put up spoiler tags for SSE info. If someone doesn't want spoilers they shouldn't come into a topic that has spoilers marked in the title.
CHOMP~
If anyone hasn't seen it yet, the Dojo has been slightly redesigned, and today posted Ness' profile. It goes over all the details of the differences between him and Lucas, so it looks like it's still worth visiting.

Yeah, I saw that!
I like how they hide the spoilers until you click on them...I DON'T like how under the Secret Characters, the mini-portrait is a question mark since I like to save both the big and small pics.
Eh, that's actually not a problem, really...I understand why they did it, and I can just take the big picture and make my own mini-portrait out of it!![]()

Hey guys, I just learned something awesome:
"Slammin Smash Japanese Gameplay"
YOU CAN START THE FIGHT AS ZERO SUIT SAMUS!!
According to a post at VGChartz, it's done by holding a button (Y button, according to one poster), a la Zelda/Sheik in "Melee".
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!![]()

What is the GS2 music used for? A particular stage, boss battle?

That's all?
Wait...I don't think that's complete. I can think of several Pokemon that were mentioned by people who went to Japanese events with "Brawl" demos that aren't all that list (and why would they have Entei and Suicune, but no Raikou?).
Glad to see Jirachi on the list...now we have all four of the cute Event Pokemon!
Oh, and judging from the videos I've seen, I think Staryu is actually Starmie (who was in the original "Smash Bros.) this time around.
As for music, my Dad actually found all the music tracks in the game last night...and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy they put the Team Galactic Grunt fight music in (among other songs that I thought would be good)!

Wow. That list is fucking incredible. As a self-proclaimed lover of video game music, that list absolutely rocks. Thanks for putting that up, it has made my day.
In fact, that list has made me want this game harder than the inclusion of both Sonic and Snake combined.

I'm sort of used to it now. Nintendo are notorious for absolutely fucking Brits over in terms of release dates, and some games never get released over here anyway.

It's Staryu, also Raikou isn't on that list. As for the ones people mentioned, maybe they were just trying to pull our legs. There seems to have been alot of that going around.

You're welcome!
Ah, okay. I could have sworn I saw Starmie...
As for that link, I wouldn't be surprised if a "Returning Pokémon: Part 2" entry pops up on the Dojo at some point (just like they did with the returning stages from "Melee"). We'll see.
Oh, and check out this video I found at Smash World Forums this morning:
"SSBB Alternate colors"
It shows every character's costumes/colors...fabulous!![]()

Those are pretty cool, though I'm incredibly disappointed that they removed Pikachu's leprechaun hat, or as I call it his 'Pimpachu' hat. Also, they really missed an opportunity with Sonic's colour schemes; just changing part of his gloves? Why not give him colour schemes akin to Amy Rose or Silver? (Obviously not Shadow, seeing how he's been confirmed as an AT)
Also, that WiiRevolution dude is about your best chance of getting your questions answered; if anyone wants to know anything about Brawl, his answers are usually prompt and accurate.
I was digging around youtube today and came across the video with all of the final smashes. Enjoy!
On a side note, Luigi's psychedelic "what kind of mushrooms is he on?" final smash gets my vote for biggest WTF factor in the game. Some more interesting info I found today, apparently the data that's been ripped from the game so far is only from one layer of the disc, which would explain why only 27 assist trophies were found and Andross was suspiciously absent from that list. Maybe it also explains the missing pokeball pokemon.

I've seen that video before. It's good stuff (I like how Link and Ganondorf crouch in time to the music at the beginning and end of it).
LOL, yeah! It's Shagadellic, baby!
Really?
EDIT: My Dad just found another cool video:
"SSBB Taunt Compilation"
As the title suggests, this shows off the characters' Taunts.

I'm pretty sure I saw a video with Dr. Mario as an alternate costume for Mario.
