Leafeon rises with a soft growl, all timid actions gone. With a swish of her tail she releases 3 spinning leafs to slice at Yana but she stands her ground unafraid. He body suddenly flickers and phases from our plain of reality causing the leaves to hit only air. Shock is painted on the foxes face but that it replace with pain as Yana reappears and headbutts her with her horns.

Slightly dazed by the increasing power of the poison the Leafeon is over taken by the swift canine that now sports inky black teeth the sink in her side. As Yana bites down as hard as she can flames erupt from her mouth adding extra damage to the torn flesh. Yana shakes the fox like a rag doll and throw her way like nothing…

Yana growls sinisterly at her slowly weakening foe and proceeds to surround her with copies. The clones all bark and snarl to confuse and scare Leafeon who hobbles from her injury.

Seeing an opening, Yana raises her Sp. Atk by channeling all her dark powers into in extremely nasty plot against Leafeon. The fox tries to figure out the real Yana by firing Bullet seeds in random direction. But she only manages to take out 2 clone, leaving 3 behind. As the black energy dissipates Yana glows with an aura of purest night.

A sudden idea perks up the grass type. Her eyes glows a brilliant forest green and from the ground blades of grass tie off into knots, wrapping around the clones and the true Yana’s paws. The copies vanish leaving Yana who while slightly annoyed by the bindings. Not needing to move anyway to attack she sprays a massive tongue of flames that send Leafeon reeling.

Thing are not going well for Leafeon, her blackened body laying among the smoldering flames. She stands, wavering, and rushes Yana with a Quick Attack. With no way to dodge the Houndoom takes the hit in stride, freeing her from the Grass Knot. Not wasting a second Yana releases another supped up flamethrower which swallow Leafeon whole.

As a last resort, Leafeon tries to muster what looks like a Solarbeam, but the energy is so small and weak it could hardly be called one. The massive burn and wicked poison has sapped all her strength and before she gets the chance to fire another beam of flames hits her for the last time.

You halt you pokemon and she trots back to you, tail wagging. You toss your Great Ball to strike the badly burned fox who puts up little struggle. The successful *PING* signals you have won. Your ball is warped back to the Zone entrance for you departure and with one Pokeball left you think of what to do, stay and catch something else here, or venture to another land.

The Quest
Returning you pokemon, you examine your Pokegear and decide that your next site for capturing will be the old village. As if on cue a Hypno teleports from nowhere, bowing gracefully and extending his hand. You take it and a myriad of energy and color surrounds you. As the light fades you find yourself standing in front of a decrepit old town with a tilted sign displaying “Old Village” in worn letters. Gripping a pokeball you start your walk into the quiet village, noticing off the bat a Koffing[M] floating by absently while a Misdreavus[F] phases through buildings to your immediate left.

What will you do?

Just out of ear shot, you hear a snarl which shows itself as a Skuntank[M] who's territory you have invaded.

The Quest
You back slowly from the peeved Skunk but you movements only antagonize him. He lunges for you but you quickly roll to the side through the broken door of the building yu were just checking out. Inside you turn and look for the beast just as he charges again, which you manage to avoid thanks to a well placed table. The Skuntank crashes into the Frotress, disturbing its slumber and with anger it starts to explode. With no time to think you run for the door as the blast throws you a few feet away. Dust clears and you check the damage done. Both pokemon Koed you notice something that wasn't there before, a portal under the floor with a ladder. I wonder whats down there..?

What will you do?

Chris, it seems to me that you used only 4 attacks. Was that intentional, or did you forget a couple?

Also, can you clarify those attacks a bit more? 'Fire a Flamethrower amongst the flames?' Since there's no flames yet, I'm assuming you meant to fire it into the Whirlwind and create a tornado of fire...? Am I making any sense here?

Oh, and is your Noctowl's name Lume or Lumen?

However, if it resorts to violence, we’ll put it in its place. Judge will use Flash Cannon then Thunderbolt and finally Confuse Ray. Edea again, will use Thief to get that Ultra Ball quickly, upon giving it to me; she can use Dynamic Punch and then Metal Claw. Remember you two, use your superior speed to make yourselves hard to hit.

The Trapinch is already quite fearful of the Aerodactyl, especially since the last round and the gouges he left down her back as she got away. Ziz now looks at him, snarling (admitted looking a little odd with the missing teeth) and glowering at the small Ground type. She backs away and he finishes his fear-inducing tirade by roaring long and loud at her. She yelps and takes off down the beach, following the Wingull Ziz has scared into flight.

You take off after her; slightly chagrined as this was probably not what you had intended to do. You loose sight of her and sigh, disappointed, when a rock comes flying out of nowhere. You yelp and dive out of the way as the boulder just misses you and smashes into Ziz's wing. He screeches and crashes into the sand. It didn't hurt much, but it was quite a shock. You look over and see the Trapinch, trembling in fright but not willing to totally take off in fear just yet. Though it won't take much. Ziz hops back into the air and smashes his silver encased tail over her head and she shrieks in pain and tries to squirm free.

The QuestYou Pass the little bunny but it takes an interest in you and begins to follow, seeing few humans down here. You pay her no mind and keep on your journey. A sudden rough tackle topples you to the ground and just as you about to curse vigorously a bolt of lighting hits the wall in front of you. As the Buneary clings to your your back an angry Electrivire[M] sparks and bellows at you. Protectively the bunny leaps up and screeches a battle cry, but as brave as the little guy is it will not stand a chance against this behemoth.

What will you do?

Not good. I think a change of location is in order. We'll head towards the Abandoned Playhouse and since the buneary is nice if it wants to come exploring with us it can (though I'm not all that interested in catching her). If it is necessary to buy some time i'll send Yana out and have her do her best to buy us some time with a roar and a couple of faint attacks.

Ziz, awesome job! Lets go find a nice shaded spot where we can all sit and rest up. Once we find a place, use Rest to purge yourself of that poison, regain health, and I'll start fishing with the Rod.

The Quest
You fumble your pokegear out and press the "Call" button quickly as the Behemoth of lightening stomps toward you. The Bunery readies to attack but a bright flash of light stop her in his tracks. A Hypno appears and greets you with a bow, but he quickly turns and focuses on the Electrivire, swing his pendulum and releasing psychic energies. Instantly the creature is put down to slumber and the Hypno readies to transport you were ever you wish to go. The Bunny smile and hops away to find someone else to befriend and you sigh with relieve as you are Ported to the Playhouse. You find yourself on the streets of the city in front of a burned down theater. You creep closer just to have a Meowth[M] pounce from a trash can. An Abra[F] Teleports about around the outside of the place and a Chimcar[M] sleeps in the back row seating area inside.

What will you do?

A Wingull dies down out of the sky and picks up the Pokéball in his beak. You can see the blue collar around his neck so is not worried about it as he disappears inland. You head over to some palm trees and instruct Ziz to Rest up. He nods gratefully and slips into a deep healing sleep. You watch the cuts heal on him for a bit before waving to Blade to follow you down to the waters edge.

With Blade keeping an eye out, you swing the rod over you head and cast it out as far as it will go. A Diglett pops up out of the sand and he watches you for a bit before disappearing under the sand once more. It takes a while but finally you get a good tug in your line. Blade watches as you fight with the Pokémon. You rod is quite bent but not enough to indicate it is something too large. With a finally great tug, you yank the catch up into the air. You see it is a Starmie and as he splashes back down into the water he sighs, sounded almost . . . bored.

Your choice made clear, you send out you faithful Houndoom, Aiyana, to deal with the spirit. The flash of light from her releasing catches the attention of all pokemon, most scattering to avoid possible capture. The Rotom looks back at you with a questioning gaze as Yana becomes five copies.

Not wasting a moment, the Yana’s gather a simultaneous ball of blue fire in their jaws and launch them all at the same time. Surprised by the volley of attack, Rotom erects a Protect sphere that absorbs the true attack and the fakes.

Buzzing with mild anger at this declaration for battle, Rotom sparks to life with blue lightening which it gathers and throw as a Shockwave. Multiple electric bolts fire from it and fan out to hit the true Yana and disperse the clone. Yana shakes off the attack to lunge for the Ghost and bite chomp down on its body, taking it with black teeth…

Rotom sparks wildly and breaks the bite on it body. Glowing feverishly, Rotom throws a Thunderbolt at the Houndoom but Yana evades cunningly by fading into shadow. Rotom, shocked, searches in all directions for Yana and his search is ended when she reappears below to tackle it.

Not giving the ghost a chance to recover, Yana lunges again, teeth barred to bite. She clamps down again with impressive force but this time she seeps extremely potent toxins into the enemy. Feeling its body giving to poison, the Rotom screams an echoing Uproar which rack her with pain and damages Yana’s ears at such close range. The canine throws the vile ghost away as her ears buzz a bit…
