Some Pokemon can have a male or female form (and sometimes, there are minor differences, like a female Venusaur having a seed and a male Venusaur having no seed, other times, there can be major differences, like in this case, a male Frillish being blue and a female Frillish being pink).

In this game though the player gets to choose what form they want in such a case.
