Okay, so, here are my thoughts:

Website: Pokémon at a computer; Aipom for the "monkeys at typewriters/keyboards" thing? Poochyena for "nobody knows you're a dog on the internet"?

GD/Misc: A small group of Pokémon or trainers talking.

Binary District: Porygon line at a computer.

AG + subforums: Legendaries from the respective games.

Classic: Mewtwo, Mew, Celebi

OPG: Pokémon playing Pokémon on a GCN/Wii

TCG: Pokémon at a TCG table; alternatively, if this evolves to Tabletop Games, have it be cards and dice

VG: Pokémon playing the current gen systems

Pokémon Anime/Manga: Ash and Red

Other Anime/Manga: characters from popular Anime/Manga, i.e. Goku, Ed Elric, etc.

ASB: a scene from a Pokébattle, complete with trainers

FanFiction: Pokémon writing on paper and/or typing on computer

FanArt: Smeargle painting with tail, Jigglypuff drawing with marker

RPG: Pokémon dressed up in medieval or futuristic clothing

PCG: I like the Pichu on a poll paper; that or something like it

Archives: Pokémon at a filing cabinet

The unfortunate thing about any real sprites from the games nowadays is they're either too large or too small. I mean, the animated Box sprites are programmed at 32x32 like the current icons, but they don't take up the whole space. For comparison:

Binary = Porygon in need of maintainence (For bonus points, a Porygon with "Mac" on it, a Porygon2 with "PC" on it, and a Porygon-Z with "Linux" on it ).

AG, etc. = Agreeing with VP.

Classic = Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur

OPG = Pikachu holding a camera

TCG = Meowth playing poker in front of a pile of kobans.

VG = My Blaziken, Rawk Hawk, of course. Playing some Brawl or Mario Kart or something.

Pokemon Anime/Manga = Ash w/ "Kick Me" sign on back; Red says nothing ("..."), of course. Possibly Gary snickering in background.

Other Anime/Manga = Lucario firing an Aura Sphere like a Kamehameha.

ASB = The iconic opening battle between Gengar and Nidorino.

Fanfiction = Unown keyboard.

Fanart = Agree with VP again.

RPG = Fire-breathing Salamence looming over a Cubone "knight," a Farfetch'd "mage," or the like.

PCG = Alakazam VS. Slowking in Tic-Tac-Toe battle royale.

Archive = Stone tablet watched over by Rampardos, Bastiodon, and Aerodactyl.

I'm doing the smilies and they will all have white when they are done. (When I originally submitted them, they had white, but someone didn't do the transparency correctly (it wasn't me because I only had paint at the time).

I too loved the Butterfree one. Most of the forum specific images should be still in the archives somewhere. I know RPG is and I distinctly remember seeing the Fanfic one previously. I think polls one is somewhere as well and the GSC one. The archive site has been a bitch lately and my internet is super slow so I've been having trouble finding them. But they're most certainly there somewhere.

I do have ideas for fan art and fanfics for the website. But I shall keep my mouth shut about anything to do with the site until I have content up that I promised months ago.

Hmm, maybe we could have a new section of the site called the gallery, which would have a collection of some of the best artwork from the Fanart forum. Not sure how we're going to decide what goes in there, but it's an idea.

Thank you. I didn't save it as a JPEG. It was a high quality PNG that this stupid forum attachment system kept changing to a JPEG for some damn reason.

GABI, I created these to replace the current images in the system by the same names (the large ones are for expanding/minimizing forum categories (and various other things) and the small ones for the online list and statistics). I made them transparent so that they should work better with more color schemes, but I have yet to test them on different schemes. I kept slight blue appearance around the edges because it makes the buttons look more silvery in my opinion...idk.

I know, but I am at work, so I had limited time.

The PCG image will do for now, until we think of something different to incorporate clubs and games more (aside from just the die).

I realized that white wouldn't look too good on the main theme (as the background would be a light color. So, if you figure it out, here are some with black instead of white and some black with blue filled in... (two posts because of 5 upload limit)

Now, I think they would look nice with a golden border, to match the font of the main forum image and the thread/reply buttons, but I don't have the time at the moment to adjust the hue of the borders/arrows. VP, want to do that?

Well additional edits and tweaks may need to be made but I went ahead and saved those buttons Red posted and then did them with gold outlines/arrows. I took a quick screenshot of the many forum page and pulled that paticular shade of gold from our own font. Perhaps someone with better editing programs can take it from here. Since TPM itself is trying to tell me they are saved in an incorrect format despite them being gifs I've gone ahead and tossed them all into a compressed folder.


Also for reference that paticular shade of gold is 239, 219, 24 on a RGB color scale ^_~

Actually, now that I look at it, you need to add a shadow to the die that merges into Pichu's shadow (which is kind of oddly done where the die is place).

Well my lovely computer/editing program refuses to open that file format. As a result the image preview I get by using Windows Explorer looks rather blurry when I zoom in. however from what I can tell it looks like you used more than one shade to give it a bit of depth. Mine used the sole shade of gold I mentioned and as a result may look a little flat compared to yours.

All in all from what I can see it doesn't look bad Red ^_~

I don't think Chris has it either. He doesn't have direct access to the server, and he couldn't do anything when the admin CP was broken.

Besides, why don't you try to 'bug' Kevin like you say, instead of telling me to do it?
