I've been having trouble in my Level Design class but I thought you would like to see what I've done for my final project so far. This is a very basic version. No textures, no extra objects, or even a ceiling.

I have just returned to college yesterday. I went back one day early, so the college is pretty quiet at the time being. I arrive at late night, because my dad's car broke down in the middle of the journey, coupled with an an accident (a lorry hitting a road's divider) that caused a long traffic.

It's good to be back though.

So, uh... kinda got something to say. It might not matter that much to some of you, but it's really important to me. And it's something that I've wanted to say for quite awhile.

I'm going to be gone Sunday, Monday, and possibly Tuesday. See, I'll be taking a little trip across the country, and I won't have access to the internet. Not that I particularly mind in this case.

The point is, I'll be visiting Shonta (classy_cat18) while I'm gone. We're sort of going out.

It's really no big deal, methinks. We ended on good terms. It was something I'd eventually have to deal with anyway -- first relationships never last, I'm told. I'm just glad I got over it alright though. It's usually more difficult for me to handle things like that.

I'll probably enjoy being single for awhile... either that, or I'll just ask out the next girl I meet. How fun!

Well, the way our relationship started is kind of a long story, and it probably wouldn't be entirely appropriate to discuss it. But I guess I see your point, Gavin. Hmm... maybe we should start marketing TPM as a dating website...

As for your situation, Grey, I know what you mean. First relationships can be tough, if only because it's a lot harder to know what you're looking for. But being single can have its merits, because you never know what's going to happen next. And hey, sometimes you even surprise yourself!

That alone means you figured out more than I expected anyone to deduce. Except for Shonta, of course. The absolute most I thought anyone might know was that it wasn't fictional - and even that was a surprise.

Really, both of us kind of gathered the courage, I think. It just ended up that I posted here first, then Shonta. In any event, we'll certainly try to make the most of this short time. Long-distance relationships don't offer many opportunities, so you've gotta take advantage of the ones you get! ^_^

Meh. My first relationship was fairly long in terms of first relationships, but I guess considering the huge differences that waved in not too much later between me and him, it was shocking the relationship lasted just a week or two shy of three years.

I'm still single now, but I guess it's not so bad. Although the friend I came close to possibly starting a relationship with is now about two hours away considering my move.

Unless some random thing pops up between me and Grey. And even then, I find that a little tough to imagine.

Hm... a trinity of "losers", I s'pose you could call us. I've been on a "date", I guess, but it wasn't really much of one. She was feeling sick, so we hung out in her living room watching television. We eventually became a couple after that, but nothing we did together was really "date-like", per sé. No matter.

Truth-be-told, however, I never asked anyone out before. I asked her to go to a show with me (which we never saw because of the aforementioned sickness) as a friend, but then later down the line, she started insinuating that it was, in fact, a date. Oi...

Well, it was really obvious it wasn't fictional. But Shayna would be more aware than most of us Personally, having been brought up to believe in 'stranger danger' (look how well that worked... I'd be grounded for life if the parents knew about you guys), I'll automatically assume all relationships are in 'real life' even if, say, three romance poems pop up on the internet. But I think most people would assume that anyway, seeing most of their friends are in real life and stuff.

That aside, I don't think dating over the internet is so far-fetched. Through a computer screen you learn to like a person for their personality, rather than their appearances. Plus, I think it works out best if you aren't looking for a relationship. Honestly, who would think of looking for a date through a pokemon board?

Okay, I admit the reason I haven't posted here since getting back was because I really didn't know what to say. After all, in every outward respect it was pretty much a standard date. Nothing truly "quirky" (as Chris said) like rock climbing, sushi, or whatever. I guess one could call it rather standard fare, if you look at it that way.

And yet, the whole time, I couldn't stop smiling. It was... it was just awesome. I just don't know how to describe it beyond that. Other than to say that I can't wait until next time. ^_^
