HELLO!! It's been.. what.. a year at-least since i was here? I've missed ASB, a lot since I left and now part of me is debating whether or not to come back. I'm finding it hard to make time to reply to RPGs I've joined elsewhere so should I dedicated myself to replying to threads with deadlines and writing reffings for such topic to find myself overwhelmed with things to do when I haven't got the time? But there's a part of me that, despite having lost a lot of interest in pokemon is desiring pokemon battles after Diamond/Pearl failed to deliver. So, for anyone who remembers me (it's been almost a year based on my last post, please someone remember me ) what do you think? Should I come back?

It's your choice if you want to return...whether or not you have to start over (I'm thinking you may have to restart), if you do come back, I've been anxious to battle you again, possibly with some unevolved or non-evolving Pokemon.

I'd like to think of it as the Moderator Shuffle. Every three months, or so, you put all the members of ASB underneath a lot of shells, then mix 'em all around like crazy. At the end, Andrew comes around and picks one by drunken chance. The person picked gets to be a mod. Or they get fired out of a cannon. I don't know how this game works anymore...

Hypothesis. It's not a theory until there's a substantional amount of information that supports it. And from what I've seen, DL has been working his tail off. And I think it's also because we have few (if any) Contest Refs :/

o.O Contests will be back Chris, don't you worry. But yes, we have a severe lack of Contest Refs that would aid us in completing them.

Tournaments however...that's a different story. But I have to bite my lip on that.

As far as us Mods, well yeah, RL sucks and it really sucks for Hyp he got swallowed in a black hole like 3 weeks back. I was there. Nasty event horizon. He said he'd be back, but I'm not sure if Black holes allow you to come back after event horizon :O.

Yeah, I'm wondering, what else are you and Hypotenuse Man planning to bring (or bring back) into ASB, DarkestLight?

I know one thing I can hardly wait for is the new Platinum move tutored moves, now, I've been hearing rumours that Serebii is going to reveal the US release date soon, anyone here know when that is?

At this rate, another thing I'm looking forward to (well, maybe a little, heh heh) is seeing the new Gym Leaders here (once they're decided, that is), anyway, I think that'll be my two cents for now.

The gym leader situation is rather obvious, with some of the current ones not active or in ASB at all (the ones that come to mind are The_Missing_Link, River, and Andrew, but there may be more), it's hard to imagine who will be their "replacements", but if there are any, I'm presuming they'll probably be chosen based on their experiences here in battling, I mean, if you're new to ASB, you probably won't be nominated to become a gym leader if any were needed, but if you've been in ASB for a while (I'm guessing at least one year), and your skills are really up there, it can happen.

Man, all this talk makes me feel like I'm devoting myself more and more to ASB these days.

lol, I think I already am devoted to ASB, I mean, I may be the fastest person to spend points that are earned here (since these days I'm more into evolving Pokemon rather than catching new ones), but that's just me.

Anyone here think that spending points almost as fast as receiving them can be a bad thing sometimes?

Chris: Re: contests: Very few contest refs, as DL said. I have also had much less time to devote to ASB as I used to, unfortunately. We are looking for ways around my current inability to get things done (ie, getting some more help, perhaps).

Kyle: Platinum stuff will get implemented at some point, probably upon Platinum's US release. We'll try to get Gym Leaders sorted out too.

I know how ya feel Hyp. I've got a test tomorrow over Cat muscles, internal organs, reproductive system, circulatory system, and nervous system. Then I have a presentation to give next week, and a Paper due Friday. Then both, no no no, BOTH of my finals are on Monday (Landscape Ecology and Comparative Anatomy). So yeah. Same boat here Hyp... Hey, just out of curiousity, but how are things with you guys, Christmas-wise (not on here, in real life)? Do any tree work or gift shopping yet? We haven't done much here yet except for getting the Christmas lights up.

Well, I put off some PKMN Evo... although I'm wating on some Reffing on one of my matches before I can even evolve them, so I did some Tree shopping as is. I enjoy giving out baby PKMN depending on what come out and who they instantly remind me of. I may wait until I have a whole GROUP of Baby PKMN to hand out to as many ppl as I can at the Tree... because.. well.. I'm just that nice of a guy ^^U.

That and Getting some Reffing done... which btw KoT.. your match may be done either this week or weekend, depending upon a few factors...
