You briefly allow the Illusions to drop in order to let Yurei and Aikoku know it's you. Yurei uses Faint Attack to escape her cell while you recall Aikoku with his Pokeball. Yami passes on Quilava Illusions and, with that, you're ready to hightail it out of here.

When you turn around, you realize you're not alone. The three Combuskens who apprehended you stand in the doorway and they seem to have brought company in the form of a tall Blaziken. You wonder quickly if they saw your Illusions drop.

Your wondering comes to an end as the four Fire-types fire Swifts at you and your Pokemon. The Swifts leave painful welts on your arms and legs and strike your party members. With that, the Illusions are no more.

A maelstrom of attacks and status moves ensues. The imprisoned Pokemon nearby watch as various Flying-type attacks and even a few Hypnoses get fired at the Combuskens and Blaziken, who retaliate with a series of Fighting-type moves of their own. Houndour even uses a Nasty Plot followed by a pair of Shadow Balls at one of the Combuskens, but finds himself on the receiving end of three of Blaziken's mighty Focus Blasts that devastate him mercilessly.

After the first couple of attacks, it looks like things are roughly even, though with the Combuskens all asleep, you might be able to pull this off.

Your Pokemon peer at you nervously as you recall Bellossom. Pachirisu returns to the fray and tries for an epic combo, but Celebi merely throws up a Protect, rendering it useless. You're about to throw the Ultra Ball, but you're momentarily stunned by the sheer force of Celebi's Giga Impact as she powers her full body into Pachirisu.

Your poor Electric squirrel doesn't look like she can take much more of this. However, as Celebi's energy levels bottom out, her health begins to deteriorate.

Finish off the Blaziken Aikoku with a load of Air Slashes, and Yurei use Confuse Ray on Blaziken, followed by Dream Eater on the Combuskens and make sure that they stay asleep by using Hypnosis when neccessary, and Yami can accompany Aikoku with defeating the Blaziken with Aerial Aces, and then move onto the Combuskens when you're done.

All of a sudden, the Combuskens fire off Snores in unison, targeting Yurei. She tumbles backward and flinches, unable to move. Aikoku tries to finish off Blaziken with a series of wicked Air Slashes, but the Fire-type is just a little too powerful for that. He retaliates with a trio of Focus Blasts back at your Braviary, leaving Yami to finish the job. With a speedy Aerial Ace, Blaziken falls.

Houndour uses a trio of Sludge Bombs at one of the Combuskens, but all three then target him with Snores. Ouchies. Yami continues Aerial Acing another Combusken while Yurei eats some dreams. However, all three soon fire off another Snore at Yurei, landing a second flinch. At this point, they all wake up, leaving Yurei unable to put them back to sleep.

While Celebi recharges, there's nothing she can do as Pachirisu unleashes a Thunder Wave her way. The electric current flows through her body, causing Paralysis. Sketcher starts Sketching False Swipe as Celebi, fully recharged, delivers the final blow to Pachirisu. A simple Cut does the trick, defeating your little squirrel after a valiant fight.

Sketcher steps into the fray and Paralysis sets in for Celebi, locking up her muscles entirely.

Tauros is given the shock of the century as Bruiser simply lays into him for seemingly no reason at all with three Cross Chops! What a terrible thing to happen to you after answering the door! Infuriated, Tauros knocks Bruiser back with a powerful Take Down and begins Thrashing about, swinging his horned skull toward Bruiser again and again.

Aikoku folds his wings in and promptly Roosts, enjoying a nice boost in health. He then proceeds to Air Slash the shit out of the nearest Combusken. Yami, on the other hand, delivers a pair of airborne slashes and an eruption of Dark-type energy while Yurei puts her Extrasensory skills to the test. Houndour goes for a few Flamethrowers, though their effects are nothing to write home about.

The bids fight back with three Hyper Beams all at Yami. After a moment of recharging, then then fire Hyper Beams at Yurei, Aikoku and Houndour.

You solemnly recall Pachirisu. It seems as though the outcome of this entire adventure is going to rest squarely on Sketcher's shoulders. Celebi approaches to lay a finishing move on your Smeargle, but Paralysis blissfully kicks in and leaves Celebi entirely incapacitated. As a result, Sketcher lashes out with a speedy False Swipe, dealing minor damage.

As the effects of Paralysis lift, Celebi cuts loose with a devastating Seed Bomb, bringing Sketcher to the brink of defeat. However, the Seed Bomb appears to take quite a toll on Celebi as well what with her depleted energy reserves. In response, Sketcher deals a second quick False Swipe and, severely weakened, turns to you and just barely manages to nod feebly. It's finally time.

However, Celebi is at this point going in for the kill. You toss the Ultra Ball, but she's already swooping down toward Sketcher to finish her off with a speedy Cut. As she raises her arm to lay the finishing move on Sketcher, the Ultra Ball collides with the Legendary's forehead, sucking her up into its chamber. It lands against the ground. Your breath catches as you and Sketcher watch.

The Ultra Ball wiggles.

It wiggles again.

It wiggles again.

And--

Yes, finally...

Click.

Suddenly, you're teleported back to the Safari Zone front desk where this whole crazy adventure began. The clerk hands you the balls containing Leafeon, Mismagius, Ralts, Electivire and, yes, your new Celebi. She smiles and tells you to have a pleasant day.

Your Pokemon release an onslaught of strong attacks while the Combuskens counter with Flamethrowers. In the end, though your Pokemon have been severely weakened, they appear to have come out on top as they stand before the unmoving bodies of the defeated Combuskens.

However, one of them stirs, not quite brought out of the match just yet. Houndour, ignoring your command to stay back, zips forward and lays the finishing move on the Combusken. It crumples.

The nearby imprisoned Pokemon cheer and, delighted to see the guards gone, begin hacking away at the bars of their cells in order to escape. Looks like you've started a riot.

You recall Aikoku and set off with your Pokemon. You can hear several loud smashes as a number of prisoners break free from their cells and start stampeding toward the stairway. A second wave of Fire-type guards arrives at this point to act as reinforcements, but the onslaught of prisoners prove to be too much for them to handle.

Clinging tight to your Pokemon amidst all the pandemonium, you press yourself through the crowd and down the stairs toward the ground floor. You and the other escapees soon reach the lobby and battle your way to the exit.

From here, it's a mad scramble as the guards try to apprehend the escapees.

"I know where we'll be safe," Houndour barks, beckoning you. However, with all the confusion going on, you realize you can't see Yami anywhere.

How do you proceed?

Without a clear line of sight, you can't recall Yami. You peer around everywhere and try to find your Zoroark, but the confusion is too much and the guards are starting to apprehend some of the escapees. However, you see a blur of black and yellow not far from your left and reach out through the sea of bodies and place a hand on its shoulder. It's Yami, and you recall him to his Pokeball.

Houndour now starts herding you and Yurei away from the prison. You follow and, in the chaos, the guards don't seem to notice your escape. You enter into some sparse vegetation and follow it to the coast where you stumble across the dark volcanic rocks to a small den.

Once you're inside, you breathe a sigh of relief. You see bags and bags of pilfered loot and illicit goods.

"For all your efforts," Houndour says, nodding toward a bunch of burlap socks. They're filled with Vulpix Tails.

You accept the Vulpix Tail and bid farewell to Houndour. You summon Aikoku from his Pokeball and take off into the sky. As you pass over miles and miles of ocean below, you and your Pokemon begin to recuperate all that lost health and energy. Thus, you feel brand new when you touch down on the lofty boardwalks of Skyline Terrace.

As you dismount, you examine your surroundings. You see a Volbeat and Illumise walking hand-in-hand while a Castform bobs about overhead. Nearby, a Chatot sits at the edge of the boardwalk looking glum.

The only problem is, the last two mail carriers to enter that territory haven't returned. This mail absolutely must be delivered, but I'm too terrified to go. Is there a chance you could deliver a few packages and, while you're there, perhaps keep an eye out for two other Chatots wearing caps like mine?"

He then pulls out a red sack filled with three different parcels.

"Oh, thank you!" Chatot says. "The packages all have the names of their intended recipients printed on them. Oh, and remember to return here when you're done and I'll see if I can give you a special reward to make it worth your while."

With that, you sling the sack of packages over your shoulder and hop back on Aikoku before taking off into the sky. Fortunately, Feizhi Outpost doesn't seem to be too far from Skyline Terrace and, as you approach the multitude of tropical plants far below, you see swarms of something in the near distance. You realize the air is saturated with Dustoxes and Venomoths. They seem to be battling one another for supremacy.

You let the Bugs duke it out and swoop down into the rainforest below. As you touch down, you see a number of trees covered with sleeping Kakunas. Nearby, you see a Nidorina and a Seedot munching on some mushrooms and, in the distance, you can hear the clanging of metal on metal.

You pull out one of the packages and see that it's addressed to Cynthia J. Arbok.

Nidorina looks up as you approach. You explain that you're looking for Cynthia J. Arbok and she promptly laughs.

"Yeah, I know where she lives," Nidorina explains. "Half a mile north of here, actually. She has a little den marked by a grassy boulder, but... well, she's eccentric. Absolutely out of her mind. Crazier than a Porygon-Z. You'll see what I'm talking about."

Nidorina helps you figure out which way is north and you set off. After several minutes of walking, you arrive at a small hill covered with ivy. There seems to be a hole where you can enter, but it's blocked by a large mossy rock. You approach to examine the rock, but hear a voice from within the den.

"Who goes there?" the voice shrieks. "Who dares disturb the lair of Cynthia the Super Excellent, Queen of Feizhi Outpost?"

"Mail? Hah! Yes, I smell a devious ploy," Cynthia says from inside her den. "This must be the work of my cunning nemesis Nestor the Wickedly Badass, Arch-Mage of Feizhi Outpost! You're one of Nestor's cronies merely posing as a humble mail carrier so you can accost me and usurp my throne. Aren't you? Aren't you?"

At this point, a passing Paras overhears your exchange and starts giggling. A couple of Oddishes approach, too, drawn by Cynthia's insane ramblings.

"If you wish to gain access to my lair, mail carrier, you will have to prove yourself worthy," Cynthia says, "by answering my riddles three. Do you accept? Be warned: if you agree but cannot prevail, I will use my wondrous enchanted fangs to bite your face off!"
