    They lose an action, once that action has passed, they have 50 MP back. When they run out a second time, they faint.

    Alright Mudkip. Counter the first Superfang, then hydro pump Yui in the face before she launches the second Superfang. If she's still standing, mud bomb.

    In a flash Shinx has disappeared and with a confident call a new opponent appears, behind Yui. The mawile swivels around, looking rather cocky despite her state. Yui charges, jaws on the back of her head gleaming brightly with evil intent… Only for her to miss! The steel type swivels around and smashes a chuck of the ledge into pieces (10 ENG). Mudkip blinks, he’s having a hard time countering a move that’s never coming.

    Yui huffs, leaning against the ledge for support before she pivots. She hurries for Mudkip, but alas the water-type has both the health and energy advantage! He opens fire, blasting the poor girl back, into the back ledge she assaulted earlier (3 ENG, 15 DMG, 3 ENG). Mawile huffs, slumping down.

    Mudkip grins, the steel-type is almost defeated. “For Shinx!” He cries heroically, before lobbing a rather large glob of mud at his dazed opponent. Yui groans, more disgusting muck as gotten into her eyes, impairing her vision further (+50 ENG, 14 DMG, -1 ACC, 4 ENG).

    Battered and beaten, Yui isn’t out of the fight yet. In a show of defiance her eyes glow gold and suddenly a beautiful, and powerful shield engulfs her (8 ENG). Mudkip doesn’t see it until it’s too late; he fires a burst of water that smashes into the shield, causing it to ripple (2 ENG). Yui smirks, and suddenly in a flash there are four of her, all staring down the opponent with a coy smile (3 ENG).

    Mudkip isn’t swayed; he picks the mawile to the far left and shoots out another stream of water. Alas, the jet goes straight through a clone and waters the grass instead (1 ENG).

    Yui grins; she rushes her opponent, intent on decimating the water-type with one of her most powerful moves… Only she misses! Yui’s attack slams hard onto the ledge, creating another nasty crater, but Mudkip remains unharmed (10 ENG).

    Still confident that he can defeat this steel witch and remain unharmed, Mudkip quickly throws a glob of mud at the center mawile. There’s a hard splat at the mud hits Yui square in the face (4 DMG, -1 ACC, 1 ENG).

    Yui falls forward, glaring defiantly at her opponent before she falls.

    The red glow you're surrounded by will last a couple of rounds (2 or 3), ghosts however, will remain locked physically for the remainder of the battle.

    There’s a cold wind as Mudkip’s newest foe appears. The ghost phases in slowly, it’s single red eye floating back and forth between either of its sockets.

    Baraggan doesn’t waste much time, he goes and begins to fling nasty words at his opponent (4 ENG). Mudkip won’t have any of it though, and lets out a threatening growl that makes the Duskull rethink his choice of words (3 ENG, -1 ATK).

    Though irritated at what he had heard, Mudkip listens to his trainer’s commands (though he would’ve preferred hurting the damn ghost). Before Baraggan now stands four Mudkips, all looking rather miffed (3 ENG). The Duskull doesn’t show any emotion, the ghost simply chooses a one of the water-types and focusing a dizzying, yet enchanting beam on it (2 ENG). Alas, the clone vanishes, leaving now three Mudkips.

    All of the Mudkips suddenly yawn, and no surprise, Baraggan does the same. Though his expression doesn’t change much (4 ENG, TIRED).

    Ignoring his sudden drowsiness, the ghost chooses the Mudkip to the far left. He attempts to use the attack ordered, but something is wrong. Despite perhaps being an ancient soul, Duskull doesn’t know the technique to summon the earth’s power (3 ENG). The mudkips snicker, amused by their opponent’s misfortune.

    Mud slap, Mud Bomb and a HYDRO PUMP.

    If he double teams, use a wide spread icy wind to hit all of them.

    If he uses taunt, GROWL to drown it out again.

    If Duskull wasn’t so tired, perhaps he would’ve been angry. But the fact stood that he was almost lazily picking a mudkip when they all lobbed a glob of muck at him (1 ENG, 2 DMG, -1 ACC). The ghost moaned a tad, before choosing the mudkip situated to the right. A dizzying spectacle of lights and colours began again; the ray shoots right through a clone, much to Mudkip’s pleasure (2 ENG).

    Baraggan’s tiredness finally take’s it’s toll. He lets out a little yawn before fluttering down and resting on the ground. That red glob of an eye dulls considerably as he snoozes (SLP).

    Mudkip grins, wanting to take full advantage of his situation. Both of them fling a rather large sized ball of mud at the snoozing ghost (7 DMG, -1 ACC, 4 ENG). Not that it matters much to the snoozing Baraggan, but more muck coats his eye, obscuring his vision worse. He rises up, dark energy swirling before him before it forms into an intimidating orb of the void. The spirit lets it fly without mercy, watching it with a subconscious satisfaction as the water type gets blown skyward from the attack (2 ENG, 11 DMG)! Mudkip crashes down hard back on the highest ledge.

    He growls, wasting no time to scramble to his feet and blast a powerful stream of pressurized water down to his foe below. The water smashes down on the poor Baraggan, who is thrown back onto the lowest step from the strike (15 DMG, 3 ENG).

    Somehow, Duskull has managed to sleep through nearly drowning. The ghost’s dull eye glows with a strange pinkish hue before Mudkip begins to cry out in horror. His body is being crushed, he can feel the pressure all over him, as the air is forced from his lungs and head begins to pound (5 ENG, 9 DMG).

    As Mudkip summons a cute, plush copy of himself (15 DMG, 8 ENG), Baraggan begins to strut around like he owns the place! This entire jaunt though, is aimed at the plush. Which can’t be provoked by such an action, Mudkip just snorts at the attempt (4 ENG).

    Still snoozing, Baraggan rises up again. His eye-ligh flickers off and suddenly his body pulses with dark, forbidding energy. It flies from him and hits the plush, but doesn’t seem to do anything. It’s then that duskull fades away, only his bone mask remaining of his presence (8 ENG).

    Oh that was...unexpected. Had to re-read the reffing twice to understand what happened.

    Thanks for the great reffing CT!

    And thanks for the match MLG, Yup, Yui was TOUGH. Lets do it again sometime haha.
