When you have history of ulcer, kidney stones, and gastroparesis, which makes you feel full/naucious after very little food, 2 litres is a lot, which is why I stopped, it made everything worse...I'll have a can of Pepsi now and then, when I feel really good, but, wow, you never notice how bad it is, until you already have a digestive problem.

Meh, it just isn't that easy for some of us. I have a horrible time waking up early in the morning no matter what time I go to bed, I think that I am just used to getting up at a certain time. I also find it very hard to eat in the morning, food just looks so nasty when I first wake up!!

[color=magenta]Meh, and I thought it was a lot when I used to go around filling up those 64 oz. fountain drink mugs at Speedway Gas Station. XD I used to drink a minimum of 2-3 cans a day, and sometimes much more. However, this Lent I decided to give up pop, since it was the hardest thing I could possibly imagine giving up. I made it all of the way through Lent, and it wasn't easy. My pop dependance went down a lot though, although I still need it once in awhile. Now I am down to about 2-3 cans a week instead of every day!! I still have about 3-4 cups of coffee minimum per day though. I don't really care about that so much, coffee isn't as bad on you as pop is, and it certainly doesn't put weight on you like pop does. Plus, I need my caffeine from somewhere!! I have found that weight loss is much easier when cutting down on the amount of pop that I used to drink.

Meh I'm definetely not addicted to soda although I have a fair amount of it available, like 3-4 days in a normal week I don't have it available so just drink water cause it's easy. I do tend to have th eodd beer at nights though. I'm happy with what I drink though and to me that's all that matters. I'm fine with it. Also I never even try energy drinks. They are tools of the devil. Fake energy sucks ass. Especially as a metalhead I get alot of my energy from my music (SLAYER!!!! \m/). I hate energy drinks. Although when I'm drinking soda it's usually irn bru which is one of the most unhealthy of the bunch but meh.

My mom says the same thing. About a year ago she tried exercising to lose weight but she only lost like 11 pounds in a month. After giving up pop this year she lost 20 pounds in a month, so it does seem that pop can help or hurt weight loss; then again she also gave up sugary snacks and potato chips which also definately helped.
