Round 11... begin!

Frost eagerly begins this round by glowing a bright blue. At his mouth forms a silvery-blue orb, which seems to be freezing droplets of water in the air around it. Grinning, he jumps in the air and shoots the blisteringly cold beam down at Apollo. Apollo, meanwhile, takes a more defensive stance: thinking quickly, he fans out into a group of 5 Bulbasaur clones. The Ice Beam crashes to the ground, rocketing through one of the Bulbasaurs and causing it to disappear. Frost scowls as Apollo grins snidely at him.
Frost then takes the opportunity to try and regain some lost energy. He sits down quietly and closes his eyes. However, this leaves the Snorunt completely vulnerable to Apollo's attack: the Bulbasaur summons two long, slender vines that snake out from his bulb. They fly across the arena and rope around Frost, who opens his eyes in panic. Frost is drawn into the air, and, after a moment's hesistation, slammed into the ground, unceremoniously... right into some Spikes, too. Ouch.
Frost clambers to his feet somewhat painfully and growls softly. Taking a similar action to his previous attack, the Snorunt forms a small orb of energy at his mouth - but this one is an eerie purple, compared to the prior blue. He launches it again at Apollo, but once again, it flies through a clone and dissipates. Meanwhile, Apollo just sits there with his eyes shut, relaxing.

Round 12... begin!

As Apollo closes his eyes and tries to focus, Frost launches into a barrage of insults, verbal jabs, and uncouth comments that cause everyone in the arena to blush. Frost takes special care to insult Apollo's mother a few times, adding smarmy winks now and then for emphasis. Apollo's eyes fly open, a fire burning in them that wasn't there previously. He snarls viciously, causing even Frost to back up a step in surprise, and charges the Snorunt. Unfortunately, the Substitute comes along for the ride, and as Apollo gets pricked by the Spikes, so does the clone, causing it to disappear. The sudden pain also causes the Double Team clones to be dropped. However, thsi does not deter Apollo.
As the Bulbasaur begins to charge Frost, viciously hurling Razor Leaves in a haphazard manner, Frost lights up the arena with a quick, brilliant burst of light. After it subsides, the audience, the referee, and the trainers all take a moment for their eyes to adjust, after which they can see Apollo stumbling a little, still firing a flurry of Leaves, but only one or two hitting their mark, causing minimal damage.
As Apollo tries to focus his eyes following the brilliant Flash, Frost chuckles and charges up another attack. This one hovers in front of his mouth, glowing an eerie blue, before flying into the air, leaving a trail of ice behind it. It collides head-on with Apollo, who scowls, still furious at Frost. Apollo's bulb begins to shake violently, before it opens slightly, launching a viscous purple ball of sludge in what Apollo hopes is the right direction. Still a little disoriented, his aim isn't as good as normal, and so the attack merely grazes Frost.

Round 13... begin!

It is apparent that this battle will be over soon, as both Pokemon look to be rather exhausted. Nonetheless, the battle rages on. Apollo, as per his commands, tries very hard to calm down... he focuses his mind on something else entirely, trying to forget everything Frost said to him. As his mind wanders, Apollo's rage subsides somewhat, and he calms down. Meanwhile, Frost fans out into an array of clones, 5 Frosts staring down Apollo in all.
Apollo opens his eyes, and is slightly confused by the 4 other Frosts that appeared out of nowhere... but he continues on with his course of action. Apollo once again closes his eyes, focusing his energy for a brutal attack. Frost takes the opportunity to attack: all five Frosts glare at Apollo and hold their hands out in front oh them. Without warning, a sharp wind begins to pick up in front of them. It whips across the arena, carrying ice particles, aimed straight at Apollo - in doing so, it also blows some of the Spikes away. The Icy Wind makes contact with Apollo, who, due to his elemental resistance, barely notices, although the frigid wind does lower his speed a little. Apollo opens his eyes and stares at the Frosts, raising his bulb into the air. A jet of wind stems from the Bulbasaur's bulb, and it too whips across the court. It, luckily for Apollo, manages to strike the real Frost - Frost winces as the air cuts past him like a razor blade.
Frost gets back to his feet and growls, the Razor Wind having aggravated the cuts already on his body. He takes a step back as a bal of icy energy forms in front of him. Frost takes careful aim before shooting the orb at Apollo; however, Apollo adopts defensive strategy to counter. He, much like Frost did earlier, fans out into a line of clones, and the Ice Beam sails harmlessly through a double.

Round 14... begin!

This round begins with both Pokemon sitting down and taking a small break. Ho-hum. Nothing to see here, folks, let's move along.
Frost then gets back up and stares at Apollo, twisting his normally stoic visage into a horrible, horrible Leer. The awful face throws Apollo a little off of his stride. The Bulbasaur, in the middle of preparing a Razor Leaf, is startled into releasing his attack prematurely, firing off a minimal number of razor-edged leaves across the arena. Frost takes the attack, the leaves making the cuts on his body worse, but in his exhaustion, he does not really care.
Recovering quickly from the attack, Frost prepares to retaliate by forming a large ball of shadowy energy at his hands. Carefully examining the four Bulbasaur staring him down, he picks the second Bulbasaur from the left to fire upon. Gesturing to said Bulbasaur, Frost hurls the Shadow Ball at his target. The Shadow Ball impacts with the real Apollo, the shock of it causing all of his clones to spontaneously disappear. Apollo scowls and begins to prepare another Razor Leaf, trying to ignore the effects of the Leer as well as he can. He manages to launch the attack at full power this time, a maelstrom of sharp leaves flying across the sky and slicing Frost. Frost falls back, now bleeding from some of the wounds.

Round 15... begin!

In what could very well be the last round, both Pokemon start off relatively simply. Frost chooses to remain motionless, instead taking a short break and regaining what little energy he can. Meanwhile, Apollo adopts a similarly defensive strategy - closes his eyes to focus slightly, he suddenly fans out in a line of 5 identical Bulbasaur clones. They stare Frost down as he reluctantly gets up to attack. As he charges up a ball of ice, he notes that all of the Bulbasaurs have sat down and are not moving, making his task slightly easier. Picking a Bulbasaur at random (the one in the middle, if you're curious), Frost fires a beam of sharply chilled ice and prays silently. His prays are apparently answered as the ice strikes the real Apollo, shaking the Bulbasaur from his relaxation and causing all of the clones to disappear.
Apollo scowls as the bulb on his back begins to open: from it bursts a cloud of rainbow-colored leaves. The leaves hover for a second, as if deciding where to go, and then immediately home in on Frost. As the leaves strike him, Frost feels the cuts on his body opening deeper. Knowing that his energy is rapidly running out, Frost forms a ball of almost-negative energy at his hands and quickly shoots it across the arena. The Shadow Ball obliterates the Spikes in its path and strikes Apollo. The attack knocks Apollo back, but it hardly matters; Frost has fallen for the last time, his exhaustion finally taking a toll on him.
