Carys ~ F
Carys was lost again. She didn’t know how she managed to do it – this place wasn’t that big, and she’d already been her for a month, but here she was, lost. She was supposed to be heading to some Chemistry related lecture, but she had misplaced her notes, and all sorts of things had happened, and now she couldn’t find her way to the room that she was supposed to be in.
This was rather embarrassing, she supposed she could have always made her way to the Student Services or something and ask for help, but the stubborn streak within her refused, and her pride whispered that it was better to miss the lessons than to admit that she was lost.
A map… she thought to herself biting her lip. “Hey since I have the power, maybe I’ll see if I can make myself a map….” Eyes shining eagerly, she ran to the nearest toilet, and locked herself inside one of the cubicles.
Ok, now to think of what a map would look like… she thought, frowning. A white paper with lines and the diagram of the college. She visualised it, and a piece of paper appeared in her hand, and it was exactly as she had imagined it – which was bad. She had thought of the black lines as vague outlines, because she didn’t know the way, and the map had appeared exactly as she had imagined it – which meant it wasn’t useful.
“CRAP!” she said aloud, slamming open the toilet door. “I am SO PISSED, I COULD JUST…” Her voice died out as she saw a whole bunch other girls who had been in the toilet too, giving her some very odd looks. “Erm, just talking to Ein here, he’s being such a naughty boy,” she said hastily, pointing at the innocent dog whose head had been poking out of the slingbag that she was carrying. “Er… nice meeting y’all!”
She ran out of the toilet, her face bright red with mortification. She could already hear the whispers and comments within on her odd behaviour. “There goes my reputation – might have just gone up in rank from weirdest Asian to weirdest individual in this college…”
Muttering to herself in agitation, she walked blindly, keeping her head down, and fixing her gaze on the floor before her. So intent she was on avoiding everyone’s gaze, that she didn’t look where she was going and bumped into another person.
“Sorry, about that,” she mumbled quickly and looked up to see…
